Candle Business Guides · Bhopal
There are forty-four days between today and Diwali on 8 November 2026, and a bulk fragrance order has to fit inside them alongside a pour and a cure. This page turns candle counts into kilos, prices those kilos at the listed ceiling, and sets out exactly what to send when a quote is the only honest answer left.
44 days
from today, 25 September 2026, to Diwali on 8 November 2026 · a 14–21 day cure for soy containers sits inside that, and many oil pages state their own 48–72 hour minimum · 1 kg is the largest fragrance pack CSI lists · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
Where do you order fragrance oil in bulk from Bhopal? Online, in the listed sizes, from the product pages — CSI ships across India — and on WhatsApp (+91 7397976926) for anything above the largest listed pack, plus GST invoicing and documentation. There is no CSI counter, stockist or warehouse in Bhopal.
How many kilos do I need? Candles × grams of oil per candle. Five hundred 200 g candles at 8% is 500 × 16 g = 8 kg. Two thousand 120 g favour candles at 8% is 19.2 kg. Add a 3–5% planning allowance and round up to whole kilos.
What does 8 kg across four scents cost? At listed kilo prices, 2 kg each of Roasted Coffee, Cinnamon Vanilla, Dark Vanilla and Blue Ocean is ₹41,789.60 — that is ₹83.58 of oil per candle across 500 candles. Treat it as a ceiling, not a quote.
Is there a bulk price list? No. 1 kg is the largest listed pack, there is no published minimum order quantity and no published price for any larger quantity. Above a kilo you multiply the listed price as a ceiling and ask. This page will not guess the quote.
The short answer
Work in grams, then kilos, then rupees — in that order: every bulk mistake starts with someone ordering "a few kilos" before multiplying candles by grams. The arithmetic takes two minutes and it is the only part nobody can dispute.
Never let a bulk order be a first test: 15 g to shortlist, 100 g to burn test, 500 g to confirm, kilos to produce. Skipping a rung is how an unsellable 8 kg happens.
Price the ceiling yourself before you ask: multiply the listed kilo by the kilos you need. That number is public, applies to anyone today, and is the figure to budget against.
Both rows are the same 44 days. The top row is a maker with a recipe already burned and logged: order, pour, cure, sell. The bottom row is a maker who still has to test — and it ends with finished stock on 8 November itself, with nothing left to sell it in. At this point in the year, testing is for the next occasion; Diwali runs on a recipe you have already proven.
How does a maker in Bhopal actually place a bulk fragrance oil order, and what does it cost?
In four steps, in this order. One: convert candles into grams. A 200 g candle at an 8% load carries 16 g of oil, so 500 candles is 8 kg and 2,000 × 120 g favour candles is 19.2 kg. Add 3–5% for spills and top-ups and round up to whole kilos. Two: check the rung. Never let a volume order be a first test — 15 g to shortlist, 100 g to burn test ten 120 g jars, 500 g to confirm, kilos to produce. Three: price the ceiling from the listed kilo. Two kilos each of Roasted Coffee at ₹3,738, Cinnamon Vanilla at ₹4,554.80, Dark Vanilla at ₹7,646 and Blue Ocean at ₹4,956 comes to ₹41,789.60 for 8 kg — ₹83.58 of oil per candle across 500 candles. That figure is public, applies to anybody today, and is the number to budget against. Four: ask, with four facts. Because 1 kg is the largest fragrance pack CSI lists, anything recurring or above the listed packs is a quote: send the scents and kilos of each, whether it repeats, the delivery city, and whether you need GST invoicing and documentation. CSI ships across India and takes bulk orders on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926; there is no counter or warehouse in Bhopal, and no delivery day, courier or shipping rate is published anywhere, including here.
One line: candles × grams = kilos, kilos × listed price = your ceiling, and everything above the listed pack is a conversation you should arrive at with numbers already in hand.
Buying for the festive run? 87 fragrance oils carry a live 1 kg from ₹2,832, and Luxury Soy Wax Chunks list at ₹5,999 for 10 kg. For anything above the listed packs, bulk quotes and GST invoicing go through the WhatsApp line.
A bulk order is a date problem wearing a price problem's clothes.
Every festive procurement decision is really a question about clocks, and there are three of them. The cure: a 14 to 21 day cure is standard practice for soy container candles, and many CSI oil pages state their own minimum of 48–72 hours in soy before you even burn test. The pour: however many batches your melter and your evenings allow. And the arrival, which is the one interval this page refuses to put a number on, because CSI publishes no delivery days and a guessed number is worse than an honest gap.
Working back from 8 November 2026
The same 44 days, planned two ways
Milestone
If the recipe is already proven
If you are still testing the scent
Now — 25 September
Compute kilos, check every size is live, order the listed kilos or send a quote request
Order 15 g trials plus one 100 g bottle of the likeliest scent
Early October
Oil and wax in hand; first production batches poured
Pour ten 120 g test jars from the 100 g bottle
Around 9 October
Pour window open; log add and pour temperatures on every batch
First burn test at day 7 of cure
Around 18 October
Last sensible pour date for a full 14-day cure before 1 November
Second burn test at day 14; recipe locked — production oil ordered now
1 November
Stock cured, labelled, boxed — a week of selling before the festival
Production pour under way; cure clock just started
8 November — Diwali
Selling from cured stock
Stock becomes ready on the day itself
The mistake: treating a bulk order as the start of the project. At 44 days out, the testing path above finishes its cure on the festival. That is not a supplier problem or a shipping problem — it is arithmetic, and it is the same for anybody. So split the season in two: run Diwali 2026 on scents you have already burned and logged, and use the trial bottles you order this week to build the recipe for the wedding season and for next year's festive line. The planning sequence is in how early candle brands should order fragrance oils for Diwali and how to plan fragrance inventory before the festive season.
The four rungs, costed
Bulk buying goes wrong in one specific way: a rung gets skipped. The ladder below is the whole method, with what each rung is for and what it costs on a mid-range oil. Every listed size is on the product page, so you can price your own version of this in a minute.

On this oil the ladder is worth reading: ₹6.2147 a gram at 15 g, ₹4.60 at 50 g, ₹3.90 at 100 g, ₹3.78 at 500 g and ₹3.738 at 1 kg — so the kilo is only 1.11% cheaper per gram than the 500 g pack. Across the whole range, 40 of the 72 live kilos that also list a 500 g charge exactly the same per gram at both sizes. The kilo buys you continuity of supply, which is worth money at volume; it rarely buys you a discount. The full ladder analysis is in the 1 kg price guide for Bhopal buyers.
From candle counts to kilos
This is the two-minute calculation that should precede every bulk enquiry, and the one most enquiries skip. Oil per candle = candle weight × load ÷ 100. Kilos = candles × oil per candle ÷ 1,000. Then add a planning allowance of 3–5% for spills, top-ups and the jar you knock over, and round up, because you cannot buy 8.4 kg.

Worked out above: oil per candle = candle weight × load ÷ 100, so a 200 g candle at 8% is 16 g and at 10% is 20 g; a 120 g candle at 8% is 9.6 g; a 100 g candle at 8% is 8 g. Kilos = candles × oil per candle ÷ 1,000. 500 × 16 = 8,000 g = 8 kg; × 1.05 = 8.4 kg. 2,000 × 9.6 = 19,200 g = 19.2 kg; × 1.05 = 20.16 kg. The 3–5% allowance is a planning figure for spills and top-ups, not a CSI specification. Load here is a percentage of the finished candle, the convention used across this series; some product pages phrase their percentage as a share of total wax weight instead.
One more line of arithmetic that catches people out at volume: the wax. Five hundred 200 g candles at 8% need 500 × 184 g = 92 kg of wax. CSI does not list a 25 kg or 100 kg soy pack, so at listed sizes that is nine 10 kg bags of Luxury Soy Wax Chunks plus one 5 kg bag — ₹56,986 for 95 kg, with 3 kg spare. As with the oil, that is a ceiling built from packs anyone can buy, and recurring volumes at that scale go to the same WhatsApp line.
The listed-price ceiling
Be precise about the difference between three numbers, because suppliers and buyers routinely confuse them. A listed price is a commitment: it applies to anybody, today, without a conversation. A ceiling is that listed price multiplied — the most a quantity can cost using packs anyone can buy. A quote is a calculation that depends on the kilos, the scent mix, the frequency, the invoicing and the destination. The first two belong on a page like this; the third does not.
A four-scent festive mix · 8 kg of oil for 500 × 200 g candles at 8%
Worked out above: 2 × ₹3,738 = ₹7,476; 2 × ₹4,956 = ₹9,912; 2 × ₹4,554.80 = ₹9,109.60; 2 × ₹7,646 = ₹15,292. Total ₹41,789.60 for 8 kg. Across 500 × 200 g candles that is ₹41,789.60 ÷ 500 = ₹83.58 of oil per candle, and it matches the per-candle column averaged over four equal shares: (₹59.81 + ₹79.30 + ₹72.88 + ₹122.34) ÷ 4 = ₹83.58. Per-candle figures are 1 kg price ÷ 1,000 × 16 g. Blue Ocean's 15 gm size is currently sold out; its 50 gm, 100 gm, 500 gm and 1 kg sizes are live.
The mistake: asking for a bulk price before doing the ceiling. A buyer who writes "what's your best price on fragrance oil?" has handed the supplier the whole conversation. A buyer who writes "8 kg across four scents comes to ₹41,789.60 at your listed kilo prices — this repeats quarterly, delivering to Bhopal, GST invoice and SDS needed on all four" has set the frame, and will get an answer in one message instead of five. Do the multiplication first. It costs two minutes and it is the only leverage a small buyer has.
The quote request that gets answered
Above the listed packs, a quote is the only honest answer — and how fast you get it depends entirely on what you send. Six lines do it.
1
Name the oils and the kilos of eachNot families, not "your florals". "3 kg Roasted Coffee, 2 kg Blue Ocean, 2 kg Cinnamon Vanilla, 1 kg Dark Vanilla." Handles and sizes are on the product pages; copy them exactly so nobody guesses.
2
Say whether it repeats, and how oftenA one-off 8 kg and a standing 8 kg a quarter are different calculations. If you do not know yet, say so — "one-off now, likely quarterly from January" is a useful answer and an honest one.
3
Give the delivery cityBhopal, in this case. It belongs in the message because it is part of the calculation, and because it saves a round trip. Do not ask for a delivery date to be promised in the same breath — no timeline is published, so ask what is possible rather than for a commitment.
4
State your paperwork up front"GST invoice needed" and "SDS and IFRA documentation on all four oils". Documentation is supplied on request per named oil, not as a downloadable pack, and asking now rather than when your corporate client's purchase order arrives is the difference between a day and a crisis.
5
Include your own ceiling figure"At your listed kilo prices this comes to ₹41,789.60." It shows you have done the work, removes the first two messages of any negotiation, and makes any quote immediately comparable.
6
Ask one stock question"Please confirm all four are live at 1 kg." Fifty-three of 437 listed fragrance sizes are sold out today, across ten listings entirely and eleven partly — so a confirmation on named oils is worth more than any general reassurance about availability.
What no honest supplier will put in writing on a blog
A price for a quantity that is not a listed pack. A delivery time. A courier. A shipping rate. A minimum order quantity, because none is published. A shelf life, because no fragrance page states one. If a supplier's public page gives you those numbers without a conversation, ask which of them it will repeat on an invoice.
Four oils that scale cleanly
Chosen for volume work rather than for novelty: each states a load, each has a live kilo, and each has a ladder you can climb without a jump. The tables show every listed size, the per-kilogram rate at each, and how many 200 g candles at 8% each pack would scent.

Roasted Coffee Fragrance Oil
A festive gourmand that scales without drama. Five sizes, all live, from 15 gm at ₹93.22 to 1 kg at ₹3,738 — a complete ladder, so shortlisting, testing and production all happen on one page. The page states "6-10% for soy wax candles, cure 48-72 hours", "6-8% for paraffin wax, cure 24-48 hours", "10-15% for wax melts" and "8-15% for room sprays", and publishes a measured flashpoint of ~191-193°C. Three customers have reviewed it; Akanksha Sharma writes "The fragrance was really amazing". At ₹59.81 of oil per 200 g candle it is one of the cheapest ways to put a genuinely festive scent into a 500-candle run.
Measured flash point · 0% vanillin · 15 g currently out
Blue Ocean Fragrance Oil
Useful in a bulk mix because it is the fresh counterweight to a festive gourmand line, and because its page publishes the numbers that matter at volume: a measured flashpoint of 143°C (290°F), with the page's own note that this "means standard handling precautions apply", a load of "up to 10% for soy, paraffin, and natural wax blends" with a stated cure of 48-72 hours for soy, and "Vanillin content 0% - no discolouration, safe for white and light wax" — which matters if your festive range is pale. Note the ladder: the 15 gm size is currently sold out, so shortlisting starts at 50 gm ₹247, and the 50 g is fractionally the cheapest gram on the listing.

Dark Vanilla Fragrance Oil
The dearest oil in the four-scent mix above, and the one whose page is most useful at volume precisely because it is blunt. Stated load "6-10% for soy wax candles, cure 48-72 hours"; measured flashpoint ~191-193°C; and on discolouration, "Vanillin Content Present Vanilla and amber base notes contain vanillin - will yellow white wax over time". At 500 candles a surprise like that is a season's rejects, so a printed warning is worth more than a compliment. Structure is published as rich vanilla and spice over deep caramel and cream, on dark amber and warm musk. Five sizes from 15 gm at ₹130.

Pink Crush Fragrance Oil
Included as the ladder that will change how you order. There is no 15 g size: the listing runs 50 g, 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg, and the 100 g bottle at ₹899 is fractionally dearer per gram than the kilo at ₹8.899 — so the sensible test bottle here is the 50 g at ₹444 or the 500 g if the scent is already proven. The page states "8-10% in soy wax" with a projection described as "Moderate-Strong - present and inviting" and a published pyramid of red berries and pink grapefruit over a sparkling fruity-floral heart with a soft vanilla-musk dry-down, plus a warning of "yellowing in white or uncoloured wax over time".

The CSI principle
Bulk is not a discount you negotiate. It is a risk you take on a recipe, and the only way to shrink it is to have already burned the candle.
Eight kilos of a proven oil is a production decision. Eight kilos of an interesting oil is a gamble with a delivery note attached. The rung ladder exists so that the money arrives after the evidence does.
Numbers ready? Send the scents, the kilos of each, whether it repeats, the delivery city and your documentation needs — plus your own ceiling from the listed prices. Bulk quotes, GST invoicing, MSDS and IFRA documentation are handled directly on WhatsApp.
A bulk order placed as one parcel and one payment is simple, and occasionally wrong. Because there is no CSI counter in Bhopal to top up from, the sensible pattern is to stage the order against your pour schedule rather than against your enthusiasm — and to buy the things with no substitute first.
Staging a festive procurement
What to order when, and why that order matters
Stage
What goes in it
Why first, or why later
First, immediately
All the fragrance oil for the run, plus the trial bottles for next season's scents
A named scent on a label has no substitute in your workroom. Wax and wicks do
First, same order
Wicks in the size the recipe passed on, with a spare pack
A wick size change invalidates the burn test you already paid for
Second, with the pour schedule
Wax, in the largest listed bags you can store properly
Soy softens in heat, so buy what you can keep cool and sealed, not what fills the shelf
Second or third
Jars, lids, boxes and labels
Bulkiest to store and easiest to damage; bring them in near the pour, not weeks before
Hold back
One 100 g bottle of each production scent
Your reserve for a re-pour, a sample request or a rejected batch. The cheapest insurance in the plan
Storage is the other half of staging, and in central India it is seasonal. The hot pre-monsoon weeks soften soy in the bag and can slump finished stock in a closed room; the monsoon puts condensation on cold glass and lifts labels off jars and stickers off wicks; the cool dry winter makes wax contract faster, so sinkholes and wet spots show up more clearly in exactly the weeks a gift candle is being photographed. None of that is a weather statistic — it is general material behaviour you can check on your own bench — but it argues for keeping oil sealed and shaded, bringing jars to room temperature before pouring, keeping cartons off a floor that gets damp, and re-running one control jar when the season turns. The cosmetic faults are covered in why soy candles frost and why your candle is sweating fragrance oil.
Finally, the calendar past Diwali is worth ordering against now rather than in December. Christmas and New Year gifting follow within weeks; the winter and spring wedding seasons bring favour and hamper work in volumes that arrive with little notice; Raksha Bandhan lands in the monsoon months. A maker who orders trial bottles for those occasions in the same parcel as the Diwali production oil has bought a season of planning for a few hundred rupees.
Order the fragrance first. Everything else in a candle has a substitute; the name on the label does not.
— CandleMakingSuppliesIndia
Why trust this guide
CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies candle raw materials — wax, fragrance oils, wicks, jars, moulds, dyes, additives and equipment — and does not sell finished candles. A supplier writing a bulk-buying page has every reason to skip straight to "send us your order". This one puts the rung ladder first, prints the ceiling you should hold us to, and states plainly that at 44 days out a maker who has not yet burn tested should run Diwali on a proven recipe rather than on a new kilo.
Every price, pack size and quoted specification comes from live CSI stock in September 2026 and links to the product page, where current pricing always takes precedence. The multi-kilo totals on this page are listed prices multiplied — a ceiling anyone can check, not a quote. No price is published here for a quantity that is not a listed pack, and no delivery day, courier name or shipping rate appears anywhere on this page because none is published. Loads, cure times and flash points are quoted only where a product page states them; flash points only where a measured value is published.
For quotes above one kilo, recurring or standing orders, GST invoicing, or MSDS and IFRA documentation on a named oil, message the bulk line on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926.
Frequently asked questions
Where can I order candle fragrance oils in bulk in Bhopal?
Online from the product pages for every listed size — CSI ships across India — and on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926 for anything above the largest listed pack, along with GST invoicing and documentation requests. There is no CSI shop, counter, stockist or warehouse in Bhopal, and no delivery day, courier name or shipping rate is published. What is published is every size, price and stock status on the linked product pages, plus 87 fragrance oils with a live 1 kg.
How much fragrance oil do I need for 500 candles?
Multiply candles by grams of oil per candle. For 500 × 200 g candles at an 8% load that is 500 × 16 g = 8 kg; at 10% it is 10 kg. For 500 × 120 g candles at 8% it is 4.8 kg. Add a 3–5% planning allowance for spills and top-ups and round up to whole kilos, because 8.4 kg is not a pack. The same 500 candles also need 92 kg of wax at 184 g each.
What is the bulk price of candle fragrance oil?
There is no published bulk price, because 1 kg is the largest pack CSI lists on any fragrance oil. What you can price exactly is the ceiling: multiply the listed kilo by the kilos you need. Two kilos each of Roasted Coffee (₹3,738), Blue Ocean (₹4,956), Cinnamon Vanilla (₹4,554.80) and Dark Vanilla (₹7,646) is ₹41,789.60 for 8 kg. For anything recurring, send the scents, kilos, frequency and delivery city to the bulk line — and this page will not state what that quote will be.
Is there a minimum order for bulk fragrance oil?
No minimum order quantity is published on any CSI fragrance oil. The practical floor is the smallest listed size — 15 g on 55 listings, 50 g on 34 more and 100 g on 15 — and there is no sample-pack product, so a trial bench is something you assemble from listed sizes. That is genuinely useful for a bulk buyer, because it means you can shortlist four scents for a few hundred rupees before committing kilos to any of them.
How late can I order fragrance oil for Diwali 2026?
Diwali falls on 8 November 2026, which is 44 days from today. Work backwards: a 14 to 21 day cure for soy container candles means the last sensible pour date for stock ready by 1 November is around 18 October, and the oil has to be in your workroom before that. If the recipe is already proven, that is comfortable. If you still have to burn test — many oil pages state 48–72 hours in soy as a minimum before testing, and a proper test looks at day 7 and day 14 — the timeline finishes on the festival itself. Run this Diwali on a proven scent.
Can I get a GST invoice and an SDS for a bulk fragrance order?
Yes, on request. Bulk pricing, GST invoicing, MSDS and IFRA documentation are handled on the WhatsApp line, per named oil rather than as a downloadable pack — so ask for exactly the oils you are buying. Seventy-one of the 107 fragrance pages use IFRA wording, but no page publishes a certificate or category number and none attaches a document, which is why the request matters. Send it with the quote request rather than after the order.

Figures verified September 2026: Today is 25 September 2026 and Diwali 2026 falls on 8 November 2026 — 44 days. A 14–21 day cure for soy container candles is standard practice; many CSI fragrance pages state 48–72 hours for soy wax as their own minimum before burn testing, and 24–48 hours for paraffin. 1 kg is the largest fragrance pack CSI lists; 104 of 107 listings carry a 1 kg size and 87 of those are in stock, from ₹2,832. Fifty-three of 437 listed fragrance sizes are currently sold out, across ten listings entirely and eleven partly. Smallest listed sizes: 15 g on 55 listings, 50 g on 34, 100 g on 15. No minimum order quantity, sample pack, shelf life, storage specification, throw measurement, delivery timeline, courier or shipping rate is published on any page, and none is claimed here. Prices used: Roasted Coffee 15 gm ₹93.22, 50 gm ₹230, 100 gm ₹390, 500 gm ₹1,890, 1 kg ₹3,738; Blue Ocean 50 gm ₹247, 100 gm ₹495, 500 gm ₹2,478, 1 kg ₹4,956 (15 gm sold out); Cinnamon Vanilla 1 kg ₹4,554.80; Dark Vanilla 15 gm ₹130, 1 kg ₹7,646; Pink Crush 50 g ₹444, 100 g ₹899, 500 g ₹4,449, 1 kg ₹8,899; Luxury Soy Wax Chunks 5 kg ₹2,995 and 10 kg ₹5,999 (1 kg ₹599). Arithmetic: oil per candle = candle weight × load ÷ 100, so a 200 g candle at 8% is 16 g, at 10% is 20 g, a 120 g candle at 8% is 9.6 g and a 100 g candle at 8% is 8 g; load is a percentage of the finished candle, the convention used across this series, while some product pages phrase their percentage as a share of total wax weight instead. Kilos = candles × oil per candle ÷ 1,000: 500 × 16 g = 8 kg; 800 × 16 g = 12.8 kg; 1,000 × 9.6 g = 9.6 kg; 2,000 × 9.6 g = 19.2 kg; 500 × 20 g = 10 kg; 300 × 16 g = 4.8 kg; 200 × 8 g = 1.6 kg. A 3–5% allowance for spills and top-ups is a planning figure, not a CSI specification. Four-scent ceiling: 2 × ₹3,738 + 2 × ₹4,956 + 2 × ₹4,554.80 + 2 × ₹7,646 = ₹41,789.60 for 8 kg, or ₹83.58 per candle across 500 candles. Wax for 500 × 200 g candles at 8% = 500 × 184 g = 92 kg; CSI lists no 25 kg or 100 kg soy pack, so at listed sizes that is 9 × 10 kg ₹5,999 + 1 × 5 kg ₹2,995 = ₹56,986 for 95 kg. Per-gram ladder on Roasted Coffee: ₹6.2147 at 15 g, ₹4.60 at 50 g, ₹3.90 at 100 g, ₹3.78 at 500 g, ₹3.738 at 1 kg — the kilo is 1.11% below the 500 g rate. Across the range, 40 of the 72 live kilos that also list a 500 g pack price both at the same rate per gram. Multi-kilo totals on this page are listed prices multiplied and are ceilings, not quotes.
