Honest note. CSI does not list a wax designed specifically for wax melts, and no CSI wax page publishes a melt-specific fragrance load. Test your chosen wax at 10% before a run.

Firm set, high load, clean release. Those are the three things you need from a melt wax, and at CSI you will not find all three published for any single wax. So ask, precisely, and know how to read the reply.

Send your questions to +91 7397976926 together. Name the product, say you are making wax melts rather than candles, and describe the mould or clamshell. Then ask three things. Does CSI suggest a maximum fragrance load for this wax when it is used for melts? Is it firm enough to release from a plastic clamshell without leaving residue? Can it be blended with the Microcrystalline Wax Slab to firm it up, and at what percentage? Close by asking for a quote if you want more than the largest listed pack.
Mentioning melts matters. A wax judged good for pillars or jars is judged against different jobs.
Read the load figure carefully
Fragrance loads are stated in two ways, and the difference is not small. Luxury Soy Wax Chunks state a maximum of 13% of wax weight: 1 kg of wax with 130 g of oil. A load stated as a share of the total melt means something else: a 1 kg batch at 13% holds 870 g of wax and 130 g of oil. When you are given a figure, ask which base it uses.
Stated maximums are formulation limits. They tell you how much oil a wax is expected to hold, not what any regulation permits. Your oil's own page matters too: several CSI oils, including Lavender, Dark Vanilla and Citrus Lemon, state 10–15% for wax melts, while Autumn states 9–13%. Stay under the lower of the wax figure and the oil figure.
Taking "no figure published" as "no limit". Soy Pillar Wax publishes no fragrance load. That means you have to find its ceiling by testing, starting low, not that it will hold whatever you add.
Where CSI's answer ends and your test begins
No supplier can tell you how a wax will behave in your clamshell, with your oil, through your city's summer. Use the reply to choose which waxes to trial, then pour a few pieces, leave them sealed for a week and look for oil on the surface or wax left behind when you pop them out.
