The oil, wicks and batch schedule behind 1,000 jars
The wax table above answers the largest line on the order. A 1,000-jar run also needs about 16 kg of fragrance oil, a thousand wicks and a pouring schedule that keeps the work traceable.
Fragrance oil for 1,000 × 200 g
At 8%, each 200 g jar takes 16 g of oil: 16 kg for 1,000 jars, or 16.8 kg with the 5% allowance. One kilogram of oil covers 62 candles of 200 g, so 1,000 jars need 17 bottles of 1 kg (1,000 ÷ 62 = 16.1, rounded up). Price it by the oil you choose: Citrus Lemon is ₹2,832.00 per kg, Sandalwood ₹5,026.80 and Dark Vanilla ₹7,646.00. At this scale the oil can cost as much as the wax or more. On CSI 464, the wax for 1,000 × 200 g is ₹98,188.20; seventeen bottles of Dark Vanilla cost more than that.
Wicks
Eco Candle Wicks cost the same each at every pack size: Thin C1 at ₹5.90 and Thick C2 at ₹9.44. There is no bulk reason to over-buy, but there is a reason to carry a margin. A thousand jars means a thousand chances for a wick to be set off-centre and need replacing. Order to the jar count plus a small spare, all in the one size your tests proved for that jar.
Schedule the run bag by bag
A 10 kg bag of CSI 464 pours 54 jars of 200 g on paper. Plan each bag as one production batch, poured with oil from a single bottle, and label the jars with the bag they came from. At 54 jars per bag, 1,000 jars is about nineteen batches. If a problem appears, you can trace it to one bag and one bottle rather than to the whole run.
Mistake: committing 1,000 jars to Natural Soy Pearl Wax untested. Pearl is the cheapest route at this volume, but its page publishes no fragrance load. Run a full 10 kg bag through your recipe first. If you need a figure in writing, ask CSI before the bulk order, not after.
Timing against the calendar
