Candle Business Guides · Ranchi × premium
Twenty-five CSI fragrance oils have a live 1 kg pack at ₹8,000 or more. Twelve of them are named after a designer or retailer fragrance somebody else owns; thirteen carry CSI's own scent name, and those thirteen are the only ones a Ranchi brand can build a range around without borrowing a name. This guide prices that tier into the candle it actually has to sell from.
₹401.60–₹728
of fragrance oil inside one 500 g apothecary candle at a 10% load (50 g of oil), across the 13 own-name premium kilos · 44% to 59% of that candle's listed material cost · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
How much does a premium fragrance oil cost per candle? In a 500 g apothecary candle at a 10% load — 450 g of wax and 50 g of oil — the oil runs ₹401.60 to ₹728 across the thirteen own-name premium kilos. In a 70 g votive at the same load it is ₹56.22 to ₹101.92. Everything else in that 500 g candle comes to ₹504.71, so the fragrance is the biggest single line on the bill.

Which premium oils can a brand put its own name on? Thirteen of the twenty-five. The other twelve are listings built around a third-party designer or retailer fragrance; we do not repeat those names, and neither should your label. The thirteen run from Orange no.3 at ₹8,032 to English Pear & Freesia at ₹14,560.

What retail price does the premium tier need? On a 30% materials rule, a 500 g candle retailing at ₹2,999 can carry a kilo priced up to about ₹7,900 — just under the tier. At ₹3,499 it reaches ₹10,899, and at ₹3,999 it reaches ₹13,899. Below ₹2,499 the premium tier does not fit the candle at all.

What is the cheapest way to try it? Four of the thirteen list a 15 g bottle: White Royal Oud ₹130, Gilli Mitti ₹140, Santal Noir ₹166 and Tangerine ₹199. On the other nine the smallest live bottle costs ₹402 to ₹1,499.
The short answer
Pick the retail price first, then the kilo. A premium oil is not expensive or cheap in the abstract — it is affordable or unaffordable inside one candle at one price. Fix the price on the shelf, take 30% for materials, subtract the wax, jar, wick and wrap, and what is left is your kilo ceiling.
Prefer a name you own. Thirteen of the twenty-five premium kilos carry CSI's own scent names. A borrowed name sells the first box and then belongs to somebody else — and the trademark risk travels with your label, not with ours.
Buy the votive before the kilo. A 70 g votive at 10% uses 7 g of oil. Four of the thirteen sell a 15 g bottle, which is two votives — enough to know whether the scent survives a cure before you commit ₹8,000 or more.

Shelf price sets the kilo · 500 g candle, 10% load, materials held at 30% of retail Retail Bar length = the kilo price that candle can carry ₹1,999 ₹1,899.80 / kg — no premium oil fits ₹2,499 ₹4,899.80 / kg — mid range only ₹2,999 ₹7,899.80 / kg — just short of the tier ₹3,499 ₹10,899.80 / kg — 9 of the 13 ₹3,999 ₹13,899.80 — 12 of 13 ₹4,499 ₹16,899.80 / kg — the whole premium tier, with room to spare Fixed lines in that candle — wax, jar, wick, sticker, wrap — are ₹504.71 before a drop of oil goes in.
Read it right to left. The kilo you can afford is whatever is left after the fixed lines, divided by the 50 g the candle uses. The 30% materials share is this guide's planning assumption, not a CSI figure — move it and every bar moves with it.
Straight answer
Which premium fragrance oils should a Ranchi candle maker buy, and what do they cost inside the candle?
Start from the shelf. A premium candle is a retail price with a bill of materials behind it, and the fragrance oil is the line that moves most. In CSI's range, 25 fragrance oils carry a live 1 kg pack at ₹8,000 or above. Twelve of those listings are built around a third-party designer or retailer fragrance — we will not print those names and nor should your label — which leaves thirteen premium kilos under CSI's own scent names, from Orange no.3 at ₹8,032 to English Pear & Freesia at ₹14,560. Inside one 500 g apothecary candle at a 10% load that is ₹401.60 to ₹728 of oil against ₹504.71 of wax, glass, wick, sticker and wrap — so fragrance is 44% to 59% of the materials. Hold materials at 30% of retail and the arithmetic becomes a decision rule: a ₹2,999 candle affords a kilo up to about ₹7,900, a ₹3,499 candle reaches ₹10,899, and a ₹3,999 candle reaches ₹13,899. For a first commitment, take the four listings with a 15 g bottle — White Royal Oud, Gilli Mitti, Santal Noir and Tangerine — pour 70 g votives, cure them properly, and buy the kilo only after the burn.
One line: decide the shelf price, subtract ₹504.71 of fixed lines, divide what is left by 50 g, and buy the dearest own-name kilo that number allows.
Building a premium line in Ranchi? White Royal Oud from ₹130 for 15 gm, Ban Magnet 100g at ₹899, English Pear & Freesia 100g at ₹1,499 — and the Apothecary Glass Candle Jar at ₹212.40 to pour them into.

The name you can print on your own label

The most expensive thing about a borrowed name is that it works. You build a bestseller on it, and then it is not yours.

There is no authority that issues the word premium, so every fragrance page in India uses it. What can be counted is price, and at CSI the top of the range is easy to define: 25 fragrance oils have a 1 kg pack that is both listed at ₹8,000 or more and buyable today. That is the tier. But a price band is not a shortlist, because the listings inside it split into two kinds that behave completely differently once you are selling.

Twelve of the twenty-five are built around a named third-party fragrance — a designer perfume, a foreign retailer's house scent. Those pages describe themselves as inspired by the original, and fourteen of the brand-referencing pages across the whole range carry a single disclaimer line saying they are not affiliated with or identical to it. Ten carry no disclaimer at all. None of that is a reason to avoid the oils; makers use them, they sell, and CSI lists them openly. It is a reason not to build your brand's identity on the name. A candle called after somebody else's perfume cannot be trademarked by you, cannot be advertised on most marketplaces without trouble, and cannot be defended if the original's owner objects. The risk sits on your label, not on the supplier's listing.

The remaining thirteen carry CSI's own scent names. They are the ones this guide costs, because they are the ones a Ranchi maker can grow a range on — the same oil, the same name, on the shelf and on the box, for as many seasons as it sells.

The premium tier, split by whose name is on it
Twenty-five live kilos at ₹8,000 and above, and what each group is good for
Group Listings Kilo price band Cheapest live bottle What it is good for What it cannot do
CSI's own scent names 13 ₹8,032 – ₹14,560 ₹130 (15 gm) A named range you can repeat, trademark and reorder for years Nothing — this is the group to plan from
Named after a third-party fragrance 12 ₹8,400 – ₹24,056 ₹435 (50g) Selling a recognisable smell to a customer who already knows it Carry your brand name, your marketplace listing or your packaging copy safely
Of those 12, pages with a disclaimer sentence 14 across the whole range — — Telling you plainly what the oil is not Transfer any permission to you
Brand-referencing pages with no disclaimer at all 10 across the whole range — — — Be quoted in your own marketing without you writing the disclaimer yourself
The mistake: letting a borrowed name become your bestseller. It is the most natural thing in the world — the designer-inspired oil outsells the house scent three to one in the first month, so it gets the hamper, the festive box and the Instagram grid. Twelve months later your brand is a reseller of a smell you cannot name in a tender document or a hotel purchase order. If you are going to pour one, pour it as an unnamed variant in a numbered series and keep your own scent names on the boxes that matter. What "premium" and "cheap" actually mean on a fragrance page is unpacked in premium vs cheap fragrance oils — the real difference.

All 13 own-name premium kilos, costed

Here is the whole own-name premium tier in one place, with the kilo price, the cheapest live bottle, and the oil cost inside two formats: the 500 g apothecary statement candle that a premium range is usually built around, and the 70 g votive that lets a customer try it. Both are calculated at a 10% load, which is the rate most of these pages point to for candles. Where a page states a band rather than a single figure, the band is in the last column, verbatim in substance.

Coffee Vanilla Tobacco ₹8,599 ₹449 (50g) ₹429.95 ₹60.19 Not stated
Sparkling Fruit ₹8,469 ₹423 (50g) ₹423.45 ₹59.28 Candles 10%; start at 7%
Ban Magnet ₹8,400 ₹899 (100g) ₹420 ₹58.80 7–10%, start at 7–8%
Vanilla Orange Blossom ₹8,294 ₹415 (50g) ₹414.70 ₹58.06 7–10%, start at 7%
White Royal Oud ₹8,103 ₹130 (15gm) ₹405.15 ₹56.72 6–10% for candles
Orange no.3 ₹8,032 ₹402 (50g) ₹401.60 ₹56.22 7–10%, start at 7%
Worked out above: oil per candle = kilo price ÷ 1,000 × grams of oil. 500 g candle at 10% = 450 g wax + 50 g oil, so ₹8,032/kg × 50 g = ₹401.60 and ₹14,560/kg × 50 g = ₹728. The 70 g votive at 10% = 63 g wax + 7 g oil, so ₹8,032 × 0.007 = ₹56.22. Load is calculated as a share of the finished candle, the convention used across this series; several of these pages phrase their percentage as a share of total wax weight instead, which at these rates changes the oil by well under a gram — decide which convention you use and keep it.

Two things are worth pausing on. First, the spread inside the tier is ₹326.40 of oil in one 500 g candle — more than the jar, the wick and the wrap put together. At this end of the range, choosing the scent is choosing the price. Second, the cheapest own-name premium kilo and the dearest differ by ₹6,528 a kilo, but by only ₹45.70 in a 70 g votive. If you want to learn the tier cheaply, learn it in small vessels.

A stated load is a ceiling with a starting point attached
Several of these pages give both a band and a start point — 7–10%, start at 7% is the commonest phrasing, and White Royal Oud states 6–10% for candles with 10–15% for wax melts. Costing at 10% is the honest worst case for your budget; pouring at 10% on the first attempt is not. Pour the first batch at the page's start point, cure it, burn it, and move up only if the throw asks for it. Why more oil does not automatically mean more smell is covered in can too much fragrance oil make a candle smell weaker.

What your shelf price can actually afford

This is the section most premium-oil guides skip, and it is the only one that makes the decision for you. Work it in the order below and the question "is ₹12,000 a kilo too much?" answers itself.

1
Fix the shelf price before you shortlist a scentNot the price you hope for — the price a Ranchi buyer, a wedding planner or a corporate gifting desk has actually paid you before. If you have never sold a candle above ₹1,500, a ₹3,999 candle is a project, not a price point, and the premium tier is not your next purchase.
2
Take a materials share and write it downThis guide uses 30% of retail for materials as a planning assumption, which leaves the rest for labour, packaging design, marketplace fees, returns and margin. It is not a CSI figure and it is not a rule of the trade — if your own numbers say 25% or 35%, use yours. The method is what matters. CSI's own costing walkthrough is how to price candles in India.
3
Subtract every fixed line in the candleFor the 500 g apothecary format that is ₹504.71: 450 g of Luxury Soy Wax Chunks, the apothecary jar, one Cotton Braided Wick, a wick sticker and a sheet of candle packaging paper. Change the jar and this number changes; nothing else in the method does.
4
Divide what is left by the grams of oilFifty grams for the 500 g candle at 10%. ₹394.99 of headroom ÷ 50 g × 1,000 = a ₹7,899.80 kilo ceiling. Any own-name premium kilo priced at or below your ceiling fits; anything above it either raises the price or shrinks the candle.
5
If the ceiling is too low, change the vessel — not the loadDropping from a 500 g candle to a 150 g one cuts the oil to 15 g and multiplies your ceiling by more than three. Dropping the load from 10% to 7% saves ₹120 to ₹218 of oil on a 500 g candle but changes the product; do it as a formulation decision after a burn test, never as a budget patch.

₹4,499 ₹1,349.70 ₹504.71 ₹844.99 ₹16,899.80 All 13, with ₹117 of headroom on the dearest
The trap: a ₹2,999 candle that is ₹132 short. This is the single most common premium miss, and it is invisible until you do the division. At ₹2,999 retail and 30% materials, a 500 g candle has ₹394.99 for oil — and the cheapest own-name premium kilo needs ₹401.60. You are ₹6.61 per candle away, which over 200 candles is ₹1,322. Three honest fixes: price at ₹3,199, drop to a 350 g vessel, or buy the ₹6,867.60 kilo just below the tier and stop calling it premium. The dishonest fix — pouring at 7% and describing the candle as if it were at 10% — shows up in the first customer review.

A 500 g premium candle, line by line

Every number above rests on one bill of materials, so here it is in full, at listed CSI prices for the packs a small production run would actually buy. The jar is the Apothecary Glass Candle Jar with Dome Lid, whose page states a fill capacity of about 500 g to 700 g across its two sizes — one of the few CSI vessels that states a fill in grams rather than millilitres, which is why this guide builds on it.

+ English Pear & Freesia at 10% 50 g ₹14,560 / kg ₹1,232.71 total Fragrance is 59.1% of materials

The 70 g votive that pairs with it works the same way and comes to ₹78 of fixed lines — 63 g of wax at ₹37.74, a Clear Glass Votive Jar at ₹31.86 in the pack of 10, an Eco Candle Wick at ₹5.90 and a ₹2.50 sticker. Add 7 g of oil and the votive lands between ₹134.22 and ₹179.92 of materials. Sold as a pair with the big candle, the votive is what convinces a first-time buyer to spend ₹3,499 — and it costs you a tenth of what the statement candle does.

The CSI principle
In a premium candle the fragrance is not an ingredient. It is half the bill, and therefore half the decision.
At the cheap end of a range, wax and glass dominate and the oil is a rounding error. At ₹8,000 a kilo and above, the oil is 44% to 59% of what you spend on materials. That is why a premium line is chosen on the shelf price and the vessel first, and why the same candle in a smaller jar can carry a far better oil.

Four premium oils for a Ranchi range

Four own-name listings that cover the four positions a small premium range usually needs: a soft floral for gifting, a dark unisex for the masculine box, a warm gourmand-floral for festive, and a modern oriental that sells all year. Each card shows every listed size and the price per kilo at that rung.

1
Top of the own-name tier · soft floral fruity
English Pear & Freesia
The dearest kilo in the own-name tier at ₹14,560, and the one that decides your shelf price rather than fitting into it. Its page states a candle rate of 10% with the instruction to start at 7% and adjust for wax blend and wick size, gives a top–heart–base pyramid of pear, melon and citrus zest over freesia, rose and water lily on amber, musk and patchouli, and describes itself as a concentrated fine perfume oil with a flash point stated only as above 93°C — a threshold from the perfume-grade template, not a measured value, so do not treat it as one. There is no 15 g or 50 g rung: the cheapest way in is ₹1,499 for 100 g, which is two 500 g candles or fourteen votives.

Dark unisex · amber woody oriental
Ban Magnet Fragrance Oil
The premium oil to build a dark candle around, at ₹8,400 a kilo — and the page is unusually straight about the consequence: it states that the patchouli, amber and tonka will cause browning in white or light-coloured wax over time, and advises leaning into dark colours instead. That is a warning worth paying for, because it removes a whole category of production failure before you pour. Stated candle load is 7–10%, starting at 7–8%, with bergamot, black pepper and cardamom over a smoky floral heart. Smallest live bottle is ₹899 for 100 g. Pair it with a coloured or matte vessel rather than clear glass; which oils keep white wax white is covered in which candle fragrances are least likely to discolour white wax.

3
Festive gifting · floral gourmand
Vanilla Orange Blossom
At ₹8,294 a kilo this is the cheapest way into the tier with a 50 g rung, and the profile — orange blossom, neroli and mandarin over a creamy white-floral heart with a gourmand dry-down — is the one Indian festive boxes sell fastest. Stated candle load is 7–10%, start at 7%. Read its discolouration note before you choose the glass: the page states that high vanilla, tonka and honey content can cause moderate-to-significant browning in white or light wax. In an amber or black vessel that is a non-issue; in clear glass with a cream wax it will show by week three. Entry bottle ₹415 for 50g, which is one 500 g candle with nothing spare — buy 100g if you intend to test properly.
Size Price Per kg 500 g candles @ 10%

4
Year-round modern oriental · cheapest entry in the tier
White Royal Oud
The listing that makes the premium tier testable. At ₹8,103 a kilo it is near the bottom of the band, but it is the only oil up here that runs the full five-rung ladder from 15 gm at ₹130 to 1 kg — so you can buy two votives' worth for the price of a coffee, cure them, burn them, and only then decide. Its page states 6–10% for candles and 10–15% for wax melts, gives bergamot and saffron over a white oud and rose heart on sandalwood, ambergris and musk, and positions itself for hotel-style lines and festive gifting. No flash point is stated on this page, so none is quoted here. The oil has its own buyer's guide: best White Royal Oud fragrance oil for candle making.

Trying the tier without buying a kilo

At ₹14,560 a kilo, the expensive mistake is not the kilo. It is the kilo bought before the cure finished.

The premium tier's real barrier is not the kilo price — it is the entry ticket. Four of the thirteen own-name listings sell a 15 g bottle. On the other nine the smallest live bottle is 50 g or 100 g, which means that simply smelling two shortlisted oils in wax can cost more than a kilo of a mid-range scent. Plan the entry as a line item of its own.

The cost of finding out · own-name premium listings
What the smallest live bottle costs, how many 70 g votives it pours at 10%, and the per-gram premium you pay for it
Smallest live bottle Listings Price range 70 g votives it pours at 10% Per gram vs the kilo
15 g 4 — White Royal Oud, Gilli Mitti, Santal Noir, Tangerine ₹130 – ₹199 2 ₹8.67 – ₹13.27 per gram; 4% to 21% above the kilo rate
50 g 5 — Orange no.3, Vanilla Orange Blossom, Sparkling Fruit, Pink Crush, Coffee Vanilla Tobacco ₹402 – ₹449 7 ₹8.04 – ₹8.98 per gram; within 4.5% of the kilo rate, two of them marginally below it
100 g 4 — Ban Magnet, Amber Oud Royal, Lavender Oud, English Pear & Freesia ₹899 – ₹1,499 14 ₹8.99 – ₹14.99 per gram; the kilo rate is 0% to 12% lower

The useful surprise is how flat these ladders are. On most of this tier the small bottle costs within a few percent of the kilo rate per gram — on Lavender Oud the 100 g bottle is priced at exactly the kilo rate, and on two of the 50 g listings it is fractionally cheaper. So the price penalty for testing first is small or nil, with one clear exception: Santal Noir's 15g bottle is 21% above its kilo rate. That is still ₹166 to find out. The only thing a kilo buys you up here is continuity of supply. The per-gram ladder across the wider range, oil by oil, is set out in wholesale candle fragrance oils delivered to Ranchi.

Do not judge a premium oil on day four. The dearer oils in this tier are heavy in amber, oud, tonka and musk materials, and those are the slowest to open in soy. A jar poured on Sunday and sniffed on Wednesday tells you almost nothing — least of all in a cool Ranchi January, when a room at 16–18°C simply does not volatilise a base-heavy fragrance the way the same room does in May. Cure with lids on, in a closed carton, and score at day 7 and day 14 before you decide. The mechanism is in why your candle needs a 14-day cure, and the scoring method in how to compare two fragrance oils using a controlled burn test.
Test passed and the shelf price holds? The premium tier's largest listed pack is 1 kg — ₹8,032 to ₹14,560 across the thirteen own-name listings. For several kilos of one scent, a recurring schedule, GST invoicing or documentation, send the scents and quantities on WhatsApp.

Where a premium candle sells in a Ranchi year

A ₹3,499 candle does not sell to a passing customer; it sells to an occasion and to a buyer with a reason. In Ranchi that means three kinds of order, and they do not arrive at the same time of year or in the same format.

Three premium buyers, three formats
Who pays premium prices here, what they buy, and which of the thirteen kilos suits it
Buyer When the conversation starts Format that wins Scent direction What decides the order
Institutional and corporate gifting desks Weeks before Diwali on 8 November 2026, and again before the new year Boxed pairs — one 500 g candle plus a 70 g votive, or two votives Warm, unambiguous, safe in a shared office: Vanilla Orange Blossom, Coffee Vanilla Tobacco A repeatable unit price and a GST invoice, not novelty
Winter wedding and reception buyers The cool months, with enquiries running from late autumn Multiples of one scent in a single colourway Floral or modern oriental that photographs well: English Pear & Freesia, White Royal Oud, Santal Noir Identical candles across a large count — which means one kilo, not five bottles
Individual gift buyers and small retail Festive weeks, Christmas and new year, and through the cool season The 500 g statement candle as a single purchase Something that smells like it cost what it cost: Amber Oud Royal, Ban Magnet, Lavender Oud The first thirty seconds of cold throw in a shop or a photo

The Ranchi seasonal detail that matters most for this tier is the cool part of the year, and it cuts both ways. A plateau winter is kind to a 500 g candle in storage — soy holds its surface, the wax does not soften in the box, and a heavy oud or amber candle keeps its shape through a long gifting window. It is unkind to your testing. Pour into cold glass and you get wet spots and a ring at the edge; sniff a cured jar in a cold room and a base-heavy premium oil will read quieter than it is. Warm the jars before pouring, and do your throw scoring in a room you have heated to something like the room your customer will burn it in. Figures for indoor temperature here are planning assumptions, not published data — measure your own workroom with the same thermometer you pour with.

Sell the pair, quote the pair
For institutional and gifting buyers, a 500 g candle plus a 70 g votive costs you between ₹1,040.53 and ₹1,412.63 in materials on the thirteen own-name kilos — the big candle plus the votive, at 10% in both. Quoting that pair as one SKU does two things: it lets the buyer justify a higher unit price, and it gives you a second vessel from the same melt, so your production time per rupee of revenue falls. Gift-box scent combinations are worked through in best candle fragrance combinations for premium gift boxes.
Nobody buys a kilo of fragrance oil. They buy a candle at a price, and the kilo is whatever that price left over.

Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles, and has no shop in Ranchi. We would sell more oil by telling every maker that the premium tier is the right place to start. This page does the opposite: it shows the three price points at which the premium tier does not fit the candle at all, and names the point at which a ₹2,999 candle is ₹132 a kilo short. A maker who prices a premium line correctly reorders the kilo; a maker who buys the kilo first usually does not.

Every price, pack size and stated load here comes from live CSI stock in September 2026 and links to the product page, where current pricing always takes precedence. Loads are quoted only where the page states them, and they are wax formulation guidance, not regulatory limits. Where a page states no load, no flash point and no discolouration position, this guide says so rather than borrowing a figure from a similar scent. The split between own-name and third-party-named listings is our classification of the titles and page text, made so that a brand can plan around it; we do not repeat the third-party names.

For several kilos of one premium scent, recurring supply, bulk pricing, GST invoicing, or MSDS and IFRA documentation requests, message us on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926. We publish no certificate numbers and no lab results, because the product pages contain none.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best premium candle fragrance oil for a maker in Ranchi?
The one your shelf price can carry. On a 500 g candle at a 10% load with materials at 30% of retail, a ₹3,499 candle affords nine of the thirteen own-name premium kilos and a ₹3,999 candle affords twelve. If you are testing the tier for the first time, start with White Royal Oud — at ₹8,103 a kilo it is near the bottom of the band and it is the only premium listing selling a 15 gm bottle at ₹130, which is two votives' worth of evidence for the price of a snack.
How much does premium fragrance oil add to each candle?
At a 10% load, ₹401.60 to ₹728 in a 500 g candle and ₹56.22 to ₹101.92 in a 70 g votive, across the thirteen own-name premium kilos. In the 500 g format that is 44% to 59% of the listed material cost, because everything else — 450 g of wax, the jar, the wick, the sticker and the wrap — comes to ₹504.71. The arithmetic is kilo price ÷ 1,000 × grams of oil, so a 10% load in a 150 g candle costs less than a third of the 500 g figure.
Are the designer-inspired fragrance oils a good idea for a candle brand?
They sell, and CSI lists them openly — but they are not a base to build a brand on. Twelve of the twenty-five premium kilos are named after a third-party fragrance. Fourteen brand-referencing pages across the range carry one disclaimer line saying they are not affiliated with or identical to the original; ten carry none. You cannot trademark a candle named after someone else's perfume, and the risk attaches to your label. Keep your own scent names on the boxes that go to hotels, corporates and tenders.
Do premium fragrance oils publish a flash point?
Mostly not in a usable form. Across CSI's 107 fragrance pages, only 18 state a specific measured flash point; 32 give the shared perfume-grade line "flash point > 93°C", which is a threshold, not a measurement, and must never be quoted as one. In this premium tier several pages — including White Royal Oud and Santal Noir — state nothing at all. Ask for the SDS on WhatsApp rather than inferring a number.
Will a premium oil discolour a white or cream candle?
Several will, and the better pages say so. Ban Magnet states that its patchouli, amber and tonka will cause browning in white or light wax; Vanilla Orange Blossom states that high vanilla, tonka and honey content can cause moderate-to-significant browning. That is information, not a fault — match them to amber, black or matte vessels. No CSI page states a shelf life or a storage temperature, so do not plan around one.
Can I order several kilos of one premium fragrance oil for a Ranchi wedding order?
1 kg is the largest pack CSI lists for any fragrance oil, so three kilos is three separate bottles at the listed kilo price — ₹24,096 on Orange no.3, ₹43,680 on English Pear & Freesia. Those listed rates are the ceiling for a larger quantity, never the floor. For recurring supply or several kilos of one scent, send the scent names, the kilos and the invoicing details on WhatsApp; we will not guess the number here, and no minimum order is published.
Price the candle, then buy the kilo
Thirteen premium kilos you can put your own name on — and one division that tells you which of them your shelf price can afford.
White Royal Oud from ₹130 for 15 gm and ₹8,103 a kilo, Orange no.3 at ₹8,032, Vanilla Orange Blossom at ₹8,294 with a 50g entry at ₹415, Ban Magnet at ₹8,400, Santal Noir at ₹9,120 with a 15g entry at ₹166, and English Pear & Freesia at ₹14,560. Stated loads as published: English Pear & Freesia candles 10% with "start at 7% and adjust based on wax blend and wick size"; Ban Magnet 7–10%, start at 7–8%, with a stated warning that patchouli, amber and tonka will cause browning in white or light wax; Vanilla Orange Blossom 7–10%, start at 7%, with moderate-to-significant browning stated from vanilla, tonka and honey; White Royal Oud 6–10% for candles and 10–15% for wax melts; Gilli Mitti up to 10% for soy wax; Pink Crush 8–10% in soy wax; Sparkling Fruit and Orange no.3 candles 10% starting at 7%. Tangerine, Santal Noir and Coffee Vanilla Tobacco state no candle load on their pages. Flash point counts are from the CSI fragrance page audit: 18 pages state a specific measured value, 32 state only "flash point > 93°C" (a threshold, not a measurement), 56 state none. Disclaimer counts: 24 pages reference a third-party brand, 14 carry one disclaimer sentence, 10 carry none. Bill of materials: Luxury Soy Wax Chunks 1 kg ₹599 (₹0.599/g; page states 8–13%, 10% recommended, add 80–90°C, pour 70–80°C), Apothecary Glass Candle Jar with Dome Lid 500 gm ₹212.40 with a stated fill capacity of ~500 g – 700 g across two sizes, Cotton Braided Wicks Ready Made pack of 10 ₹120 (₹12 each; page states they are engineered for candle diameters above 8 cm), Candle Wick Stickers 40 for ₹100 (₹2.50 each), Candle Packaging Paper pack of 50 ₹413 (₹8.26 each), Clear Glass Votive Jar 70 gram pack of 10 ₹318.60 (₹31.86 each, stated ~70 g wax fill), Eco Candle Wicks Thin (C1) 10 for ₹59 (₹5.90 each). Fragrance load is calculated as a share of the finished candle (500 g at 10% = 450 g wax + 50 g oil; 70 g at 10% = 63 g wax + 7 g oil); several of these pages express their percentage as a share of total wax weight instead. The 30% materials share of retail is this guide's planning assumption, not a CSI figure, and so is every retail price in the ceiling table. No page states a shelf life, storage instruction, IFRA certificate number or lab result, and none is claimed here. Prices and availability change — the linked product pages are always authoritative.
