Candle Business Guides · Patna
At production scale the question stops being which oil smells best and becomes how many kilos, bought when, against what reorder trigger. This guide does that arithmetic for a Patna business planning a 600-candle festive run, and is honest about the one thing no product page can tell you: what a quote above a kilo will be.
9.6 kg
of fragrance oil for a 600-candle run of 200 g candles at an 8% load — 16 g each, alongside 110.4 kg of wax. A costed four-scent version comes to ₹50,537 · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
How much fragrance oil does a 600-candle run need? 9.6 kg. A 200 g candle at an 8% load is 184 g of wax and 16 g of oil, so 600 candles take 9.6 kg of oil and 110.4 kg of wax. For 120 g jars it is 9.6 g each, so the same 600 units would need 5.76 kg.

What does that cost across four scents? ₹50,537 for 10 kg of oil at listed prices, split 240 / 150 / 120 / 90 candles across Apple Cinnamon, Cinnamon Vanilla, Pomegranate Splash and White Royal Oud — an average of ₹84.23 of fragrance a candle.

How do I set a reorder point with no published lead time? You set it yourself, in grams. Convert your weekly output to grams (25 candles a week at 8% is 400 g), decide how many weeks of exposure you can live with, and reorder at that many weeks' grams. CSI publishes no lead time, so the cover period is your decision, not a promise.

Can I buy 5 kg of one oil? Not as a single pack. 1 kg is the largest fragrance pack CSI lists, so 5 kg is five 1 kg bottles at listed prices — that total is your ceiling. For recurring production volumes, send the oils, the kilos and the timing to WhatsApp for a quote.
The short answer
Plan in grams, order in packs: the run tells you grams, the ladder tells you which packs. Buying 10 kg to cover a 9.6 kg run is correct — the 400 g of headroom is your spill allowance and your top-ups.
Split the kilos by last season's mix, not evenly: a 240/150/120/90 split across four scents is a plan; four equal kilos is a guess dressed up as a plan.
Patna gives you two runs, not one: the Kartik fortnight — Diwali on 8 November 2026 with Chhath inside the same fortnight — and then the winter wedding season into Makar Sankranti and Saraswati Puja. Two runs means two order dates, and nothing sitting idle through the monsoon.

9.6 kg of oil, split by sales mix — a 600-candle run at 8% Apple Cinnamon 240 candles · 3.84 kg needed · buy 4 × 1 kg Cinnamon Vanilla 150 candles · 2.4 kg · buy 2.5 kg Pomegranate Splash 120 candles · 1.92 kg · buy 2 kg White Royal Oud 90 candles · 1.44 kg · buy 1.5 kg Total 600 candles · 9.6 kg needed · 10 kg bought · ₹50,537 of oil · ₹84.23 a candle
Bar length is the oil each scent needs. Because 1 kg is the largest listed pack, every line is built from 1 kg and 500 g bottles — ten bottles and two halves in total. The 400 g of headroom between 9.6 kg needed and 10 kg bought is deliberate: it is the spill and top-up allowance.
Straight answer
How much fragrance oil does a Patna candle business need for a production run, and how should it be ordered?
Convert candles into grams, split the grams by your sales mix, then buy each scent from the largest listed packs. At an 8% load a 200 g candle carries 16 g of oil, so 600 candles need 9.6 kg of oil and 110.4 kg of wax. A realistic four-scent split for a Patna festive run — 240 candles of Apple Cinnamon, 150 of Cinnamon Vanilla, 120 of Pomegranate Splash and 90 of White Royal Oud — needs 3.84, 2.4, 1.92 and 1.44 kg respectively. Because 1 kg is the largest listed fragrance pack, you buy 4 kg, 2.5 kg, 2 kg and 1.5 kg from 1 kg and 500 g bottles: ₹18,974.40 + ₹11,410.60 + ₹7,998 + ₹12,154 = ₹50,537 for 10 kg, or ₹84.23 of fragrance per candle. The wax side is bigger and blunter: 110.4 kg from 11 ten-kilo bags of Luxury Soy Wax Chunks plus a 500 g pack is ₹66,288, and no 25 kg or 100 kg soy pack is listed. Set your own reorder trigger in grams — 25 candles a week is 400 g a week — because no lead time is published. For recurring volumes, send the oils, kilos and dates to WhatsApp for a quote.
One line: 16 g a candle, split by what actually sold last season, bought from 1 kg and 500 g bottles with 4% headroom — and a reorder trigger you set in grams because nobody publishes a lead time.
Planning a run? Apple Cinnamon 1 kg at ₹4,743.60, Cinnamon Vanilla 1 kg at ₹4,554.80, Pomegranate Splash 1 kg at ₹3,999 — each kilo covers 62 candles of 200 g at an 8% load.

From candles to kilos

Every production mistake at this scale starts the same way: someone plans in candles and orders in bottles, without doing the line in between.

The conversion is trivial and it is the whole foundation, so it is worth writing down where your team can see it. Fragrance load is a percentage of the finished candle, so a 200 g candle at 8% is 184 g of wax plus 16 g of oil. Everything else scales from there. Some product pages express the same percentage as a share of total wax weight, which shifts the figure slightly — worth noticing when you scale, but keep one convention across a whole run or your batch weights will drift.

Run size to materials · 200 g candles at an 8% load
What each run size actually requires, and what is and is not listed at that scale
Run Oil Wax Wicks How the oil is bought The constraint
100 candles 1.6 kg 18.4 kg 100 Per scent: 1 kg + 500 g + 100 g bottles Nothing — every pack is listed
300 candles 4.8 kg 55.2 kg 300 Two or three scents, 1 kg and 500 g bottles Wax: 5 × 10 kg + 1 × 5 kg, as no 25 kg pack is listed
600 candles 9.6 kg 110.4 kg 600 Ten 1 kg bottles plus two 500 g, across four scents Wax: 11 × 10 kg + 1 × 500 g = ₹66,288 at listed prices
1,000 candles 16 kg 184 kg 1,000 Sixteen 1 kg bottles — ask for a quote instead Both. This is a WhatsApp conversation, not a checkout
Worked out above: oil = candles × 16 g; wax = candles × 184 g; wicks = one per single-wick candle. So 100 × 16 g = 1.6 kg, 300 × 16 g = 4.8 kg, 600 × 16 g = 9.6 kg, 1,000 × 16 g = 16 kg. Wax for 600 candles = 110.4 kg, met by 11 × 10 kg Luxury Soy Wax Chunks at ₹5,999 plus one 500 g pack at ₹299 = ₹66,288 for 110.5 kg (₹599.89 a kilo). For 120 g jars the oil is 9.6 g each, so 600 jars need 5.76 kg. Add a 3–5% planning allowance for spills and top-ups — ours, not a published figure.

Two honest notes about that table. First, the wax side hits the catalogue's edges before the oil does: there is no 25 kg or 100 kg soy wax pack listed, so a 110 kg requirement is genuinely eleven bags, and the listed per-kilo price is your ceiling. Natural Soy Pearl Wax is the one candle soy listed at 50 kg, at ₹21,240. Second, at 1,000 candles you are buying sixteen kilo bottles of oil, and that is the point at which a conversation is more sensible than a cart.

Hold the load, not the throw
At production scale the temptation to push the load is strongest, because a single sceptical customer can make you doubt the whole batch. Resist it. Most of these pages state a soy ceiling of 6–10% or thereabouts, and those are formulation limits describing what the blend and the wax will carry, not targets. Going to 10% on 600 candles adds 1.2 kg of oil to the order and invites sweating and a worse burn in a warm Patna room — for throw that may not improve at all. Fix throw with the wick, the cure and the scent choice instead: can too much fragrance oil make a candle smell weaker and wrong wick size is killing your hot throw.

The costed 600-candle run

Here is the whole run at listed September 2026 prices, split the way a Patna business would actually split it: a spiced gourmand as the anchor for the festive fortnight, a warm vanilla second, a bright fruity third for the people who do not want spice, and a small premium line for hampers and corporate boxes.

600 candles, four scents · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Grams needed, packs bought, and what the fragrance costs per candle
Scent Candles Oil needed Packs bought Cost Oil per candle
Apple Cinnamon 240 3.84 kg 4 × 1 kg ₹18,974.40 ₹75.90
Cinnamon Vanilla 150 2.4 kg 2 × 1 kg + 1 × 500 g ₹11,410.60 ₹72.88
Pomegranate Splash 120 1.92 kg 2 × 1 kg ₹7,998 ₹63.98
White Royal Oud 90 1.44 kg 1 × 1 kg + 1 × 500 g ₹12,154 ₹129.65
Fragrance total 600 9.6 kg needed · 10 kg bought 10 × 1 kg + 2 × 500 g ₹50,537 ₹84.23 average
Luxury Soy Wax Chunks 600 110.4 kg 11 × 10 kg + 1 × 500 g ₹66,288 ₹110.42
Eco Candle Wicks · Thin (C1) 600 — 6 × 100 wicks ₹3,540 ₹5.90

Read the last column across, because it is the number that decides whether the run is worth doing. The fragrance in one candle ranges from ₹63.98 to ₹129.65, the wax is ₹110.42 and a wick is ₹5.90 — before the jar, the label, the box and your time. The premium line is doing something specific: 90 candles of White Royal Oud carry ₹129.65 of fragrance each and should be priced accordingly, not sold at the same price as the pomegranate. Mixing a premium scent into a mid-market price list is the quickest way to pour 600 candles and make nothing.

1
Lock the recipe before you order a single kiloOne wax, one wick size per jar size, one load. If any scent in the plan has not been poured, cured a fortnight and burned three hours by you, it does not belong in a 600-candle run — put 100 g of it in the test batch instead and keep the run to scents you can vouch for.
2
Order oil, wax, wicks and jars in one go, with the invoiceAsk for the GST invoice with the order rather than afterwards, and if any oil needs an SDS or IFRA documentation, name it in the same message. Bulk pricing above the listed kilo, invoicing and documentation are all handled on WhatsApp.
3
Pour in batches of one scent, weighing per batchMelt for a known number of jars, weigh the oil for that batch rather than eyeballing a bottle, and write the actual add and pour temperatures on the batch sheet. The Luxury Soy Wax Chunks page states fragrance in at 80–90°C and a pour at 70–80°C; follow the page and record what your thermometer said.
4
Number every batch and keep two jars back from eachTwo retained jars per batch, labelled with the batch number and date, cost you about ₹300 of stock and are the only way to answer a complaint three weeks later. Without them, a customer's "this one smells different" is an argument. With them, it is a test you can run.
5
Cure the whole run to one date, not to each pourSet a single "ready" date a fortnight after the last pour and do not ship before it. In practice this means finishing all pouring about two weeks before your first selling peak. For the Kartik fortnight that means pouring finishes around 25 October for an 8 November Diwali.
6
Count the leftovers and write the reorder trigger on the shelfAt the end of the run you will have roughly 400 g of oil spread across four bottles. Weigh what is left of each, write the figure and the date on the bottle, and set the reorder trigger from the next section. The leftovers are the beginning of the winter run, not waste.

Four oils for a production range

A production range needs different jobs covered, not four variations on one idea. These four are all listed from 15 g to 1 kg, so you can test at 100 g and scale to the kilo without changing oils, and each card shows every rung.

1
Spiced gourmand · the festive anchor
Apple Cinnamon Fragrance Oil
The scent to build a Kartik-fortnight run around, and the best-evidenced choice here with three published five-star reviews. The page states a strength of "Strong — bold and festive at higher loads", a pyramid of juicy apple and spicy cinnamon over baked goods and nutmeg on vanilla and warm amber, and 6–10% for soy wax with a 48–72 hour cure, 6–8% for paraffin and 10–15% for wax melts. PREETHI PRASATH's review is the one a business should read: "My customer was very happy with this apple cinnamon fragrance… And I got many orders who visited their home." Per gram it is flat from 50 g all the way to the kilo, so the kilo is a stock decision, not a saving.
Size Price Per kg 200g candles @ 8%
15 gm ₹93.22 ₹6,214.67 ≈0
50 gm ₹237.18 ₹4,743.60 ≈3

1 kg ₹4,743.60 ₹4,743.60 ≈62
₹75.90 of oil per 200 g candle — identical at every rung from 50 g up Buy Apple Cinnamon
2
Warm gourmand · the second festive line
Cinnamon Vanilla
The softer companion to a spiced anchor — same season, gentler register, and a different customer. The page states a pyramid of cinnamon and clove over vanilla bean and sugar on cream and butter, a measured flashpoint of 270°F, and an unusually generous stated load: up to 13% of total wax weight across soy, paraffin and natural wax blends. Two published reviews, at five and four stars. Its ladder keeps improving gently all the way up — ₹5.428 a gram at 50 g down to ₹4.5548 at the kilo — so a production quantity is worth buying at the top rung. Being a vanilla-forward blend, expect it to darken pale wax over time and test it in your own jar.
Size Price Per kg 200g candles @ 8%
15 gm ₹106.20 ₹7,080 ≈0
50 gm ₹271.40 ₹5,428 ≈3
100 gm ₹483.80 ₹4,838 ≈6

1 kg ₹4,554.80 ₹4,554.80 ≈62
₹72.88 of oil per 200 g candle at 1 kg pricing · ₹77.41 at 100 g Buy Cinnamon Vanilla
3
Fruity-fresh · the non-spice option
Pomegranate Splash Fragrance Oil
Every festive range needs the jar for the customer who does not want cinnamon, and this is the cheapest per candle in the plan at ₹63.98. The page states a stated pyramid of pomegranate and red berries opening over a fresh apple heart on a clean musky-sweet dry-down, a recommended candle load of 8–10% in soy wax, and describes its projection as excellent and quick-diffusing. It is listed from 50 g to 1 kg — there is no 15 g trial on this one — so the smallest way in is the ₹249 50 g bottle. Per gram it is essentially flat from 100 g upward, so buy the rung your grams justify and no more.
Size Price Per kg 200g candles @ 8%
50g ₹249 ₹4,980 ≈3
100g ₹399 ₹3,990 ≈6
500g ₹1,999 ₹3,998 ≈31
1kg ₹3,999 ₹3,999 ≈62
₹63.98 of oil per 200 g candle at 1 kg pricing · ₹63.84 at 100 g Buy Pomegranate Splash
4
Modern oriental · the small premium line
White Royal Oud
The hamper and corporate-gift line, and the reason to keep a premium tier small and separately priced. The page states a strength of "Strong — opulent", a pyramid of bergamot and saffron over white royal oud, rose petals and labdanum on creamy sandalwood, ambergris and soft musk, and a load of 6–10% for candles and 10–15% for wax melts. At ₹129.65 of fragrance in a 200 g candle it costs more than twice the pomegranate, which is fine if the candle is priced as a gift and ruinous if it is not. It carries no published buyer review yet — one more reason to keep the premium line to 90 candles rather than 300.
Size Price Per kg 200g candles @ 8%
15gm ₹130 ₹8,666.67 ≈0
50gm ₹420 ₹8,400 ≈3
100gm ₹810 ₹8,100 ≈6
500gm ₹4,051 ₹8,102 ≈31
1kg ₹8,103 ₹8,103 ≈62
₹129.65 of oil per 200 g candle at 1 kg pricing · ₹138.67 at 15 g Buy White Royal Oud
Do not put an untested scent into a production run because the margin looks good. A premium oil at production scale multiplies every unknown by the run size: if White Royal Oud discolours your particular wax, or wants a different wick, you find out across 90 candles rather than across one jar. The discipline is boring and it holds: every scent in a run has been through a 100 g test, a fortnight's cure and a three-hour burn in a closed room, in the exact wax, jar and wick the run will use. Anything that has not is a test batch, not a line. The full method: how to test hot throw before launching a candle fragrance.
The CSI principle
At production scale, the order is a consequence of a decision you already made. If the order is where you are still deciding, the run is too big.
Nine point six kilos of fragrance is not an experiment — it is 600 candles' worth of commitment to four recipes, four wick choices and one wax. Every question the order raises should have been answered by a 100 g test three months earlier. That is the difference between a business that pours 600 candles twice a year and a hobby that occasionally pours 600.

Reorder points without a published lead time

Nobody publishes a lead time, so the reorder point cannot come from the supplier. It has to come from your own tolerance for being out of stock.

A reorder point is the level at which you buy more. In a textbook it is consumption per period multiplied by the lead time, plus a safety buffer. Here the lead time is not published — CSI ships across India and states no delivery window — so you replace it with a decision: how many weeks of not being able to pour can your business absorb? Answer that honestly, convert it to grams, and write the number on the bottle.

Reorder triggers in grams · 200 g candles at an 8% load
Pick your weekly output, then pick how exposed you are willing to be
Your output of one scent Grams a week Reorder at 2 weeks' cover At 3 weeks At 4 weeks How long a 1 kg bottle lasts
10 candles a week 160 g 320 g 480 g 640 g 6.2 weeks
25 candles a week 400 g 800 g 1.2 kg 1.6 kg 2.5 weeks
50 candles a week 800 g 1.6 kg 2.4 kg 3.2 kg 1.2 weeks
100 candles a week 1.6 kg 3.2 kg 4.8 kg 6.4 kg Under a week
Worked out above: grams a week = candles a week × 16 g. Reorder trigger = grams a week × weeks of cover you choose. A 1 kg bottle ÷ grams a week gives the weeks it lasts: 1,000 ÷ 160 = 6.2 weeks at ten candles a week, 1,000 ÷ 400 = 2.5 weeks at twenty-five, 1,000 ÷ 800 = 1.2 weeks at fifty. Because no lead time is published, the weeks of cover is your choice and your risk, not a supplier promise.

Two things fall out of that table that change how a Patna business buys. First, at 50 candles a week of one scent a kilo is barely a fortnight's stock — which means the kilo is not a bulk purchase at all, it is a routine one, and your reorder trigger will fire while the previous bottle still has a third left. Second, the trigger has to be measured, not guessed: a bottle that looks half full might be 380 g or 560 g. Weigh it. That is why the gross weight written on arrival earns its place — subtract the tare and you have grams, not an impression.

Do not set one reorder point for the whole range. Your anchor scent and your premium scent move at completely different speeds — in the plan above, Apple Cinnamon burns through 3.84 kg while White Royal Oud uses 1.44 kg, and after the season the oud bottle will still be nearly full while the cinnamon is empty. A single trigger over-orders one and runs the other dry. Give every scent its own line: grams a week, weeks of cover, trigger in grams, written on the bottle. It takes ten minutes once and saves a scramble every season.

Above the listed kilo

Across the fragrance range, 1 kg is the largest pack CSI lists. There is no 5 kg or 10 kg fragrance bottle, no published bulk discount schedule, no published minimum order quantity, no published lead time and no contract-manufacturing or private-label service. CSI is a supplier of raw materials, not a manufacturer, and this page will not imply otherwise.

So the method above a kilo is multiplication followed by a conversation. Four kilos of Apple Cinnamon is four 1 kg bottles: 4 × ₹4,743.60 = ₹18,974.40, and that is your ceiling — the price if nothing is negotiated. Sixteen kilos across four scents for a 1,000-candle run is the same exercise, sixteen bottles deep. Those ceilings are what you budget and forecast against, and they are what a quote has to improve on. What the quote says depends on the oils, the quantity and the timing, so we will not print it.

Two runs, not one

A Patna business that plans one annual production run is leaving its second-best season unserved and carrying stock through its worst months. The year has two clear shapes. The first is the Kartik fortnight: Diwali on 8 November 2026, with Chhath inside the same fortnight — it falls on the sixth day of the bright half of Kartik — so two peaks arrive days apart with no reorder window between them. The second is the winter run: wedding season, then Makar Sankranti, then Saraswati Puja, a longer and calmer stretch that suits favours, gift sets, pale florals and smaller jars.

Production conditions argue the same way. October is the best pouring month of the year in the city — dry, mild, predictable set times — and it is also when you are busiest, so capacity rather than materials is the constraint. January pours need warm jars and a slower hand because wax sets fast against cold glass. April to June is the hardest stretch: wax softens, finished stock slumps in warm rooms, and a heavy gourmand stops selling anyway. Plan the big run for October, the second for December or January, and keep the hot months for testing next season's scents rather than pouring this season's.

Two production runs across a Patna year
What each run is for, when to order, and what changes technically
Kartik run Winter run
Serves Diwali on 8 November 2026 and Chhath in the same fortnight Wedding season, Makar Sankranti, Saraswati Puja
Order oil by Early October — no gap to reorder into Early December
Pouring finishes About 25 October, for a fortnight's cure A fortnight before the first wedding delivery
Scent shape Spiced gourmands, warm vanilla, one premium line Pale florals, sandalwood, fruity-fresh, small favour sizes
Technical watch-out Capacity, not materials — everything must already be in the workshop Cold glass: warm the jars, pour slower, judge cold throw in a warm room
Typical size The larger run — 600 candles in the plan above Smaller and steadier, often more profitable per candle
Two runs a year costs a little more per gram and a great deal less per mistake.

Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials. We do not sell finished candles, we do not pour to order, and we are not a manufacturer of wax or fragrance oil. That matters on a page about production volumes, because the honest version of this advice reduces the order: two runs instead of one, 90 premium candles instead of 300, and no untested scent in a 600-candle plan.

Every price and pack size here is live CSI stock in September 2026 and links to the product page, where the current price takes precedence. All quantity arithmetic is shown — 16 g of oil and 184 g of wax per 200 g candle at an 8% load, with a 3–5% spill allowance that is our planning figure. Stated loads, strengths and flash points appear only where the product page states them: Cinnamon Vanilla's 270°F flash point is a published measured value; Apple Cinnamon, Pomegranate Splash and White Royal Oud state none, so none is quoted. Loads are formulation limits, not regulatory limits.

Nothing above the listed 1 kg fragrance pack is published — no discount schedule, minimum order, lead time, private-label or contract-pouring service — so we give listed-price ceilings and route the rest to a quote. For bulk pricing, GST invoicing, an SDS or IFRA documentation on a named oil, message WhatsApp on +91 7397976926. We ship across India and publish no delivery days, courier names or shipping rates.

Frequently asked questions

How much fragrance oil do I need for 500 candles?
At an 8% load in 200 g candles, 8 kg of oil and 92 kg of wax — 16 g and 184 g each. For 120 g jars it is 4.8 kg of oil. Because 1 kg is the largest listed fragrance pack, 8 kg is eight 1 kg bottles, split by scent according to your sales mix rather than evenly. Add a 3–5% allowance for spills and top-ups, so order closer to 8.4 kg if the run must not fall short.
Does CSI supply fragrance oil in 5 kg or 10 kg packs?
No. 1 kg is the largest fragrance pack listed, and there is no 5 kg or 10 kg bottle anywhere in the range. You can order five or ten 1 kg bottles at listed prices — for Apple Cinnamon five kilos would be 5 × ₹4,743.60 = ₹23,718 — and treat that as your ceiling. For a recurring production requirement, send the oils, kilos and timing to +91 7397976926 for a quote; no figure for that is published.
What does the fragrance cost per candle at production scale?
On the four-scent plan here, between ₹63.98 and ₹129.65 of oil in a 200 g candle at 8%, averaging ₹84.23. The wax adds ₹110.42 at ₹599 a kilo and the wick ₹5.90, before jar, label, packaging and labour. Note that a premium oil can carry twice the fragrance cost of a fruity one — which is why a premium line needs its own price, not the range's average price.
When should a reorder be placed if no lead time is published?
Set the trigger yourself, in grams. Convert weekly output to grams (25 candles a week at 8% = 400 g), choose how many weeks without pouring your business can absorb, and reorder at that many weeks' grams — 800 g for two weeks' cover, 1.2 kg for three. Weigh the bottle rather than judging by eye, and give each scent its own trigger: an anchor scent and a premium scent empty at completely different rates.
Can I get 25 kg or 100 kg of soy wax for a big run?
Not as a listed pack. The largest listed soy packs are 10 kg on most waxes, with Natural Soy Pearl Wax also listed at 50 kg for ₹21,240. A 600-candle run needs 110.4 kg, which is 11 × 10 kg of Luxury Soy Wax Chunks at ₹5,999 plus a 500 g pack — ₹66,288 for 110.5 kg, or ₹599.89 a kilo. That is your ceiling; larger recurring volumes go to a WhatsApp quote.
Should a Patna business plan one big run or two?
Two. The Kartik fortnight — Diwali on 8 November 2026 with Chhath inside the same fortnight — needs everything in the workshop by early October, because there is no gap between the two peaks to reorder into. The winter run of weddings, Makar Sankranti and Saraswati Puja is calmer, often better per candle, and wants a different scent shape. Splitting the year also keeps stock off the shelf through the humid monsoon and the slow, hot April to June stretch.
Plan the run in grams

Arithmetic: load is a percentage of the finished candle, so a 200 g candle at 8% is 184 g wax + 16 g oil and a 120 g jar is 110.4 g wax + 9.6 g oil. Run sizes: 100 candles = 1.6 kg oil and 18.4 kg wax; 300 = 4.8 kg and 55.2 kg; 600 = 9.6 kg and 110.4 kg; 1,000 = 16 kg and 184 kg. The 600-candle plan: Apple Cinnamon 240 candles need 3.84 kg, bought as 4 × 1 kg = ₹18,974.40; Cinnamon Vanilla 150 need 2.4 kg, bought as 2 × 1 kg + 500 g = ₹11,410.60; Pomegranate Splash 120 need 1.92 kg, bought as 2 × 1 kg = ₹7,998; White Royal Oud 90 need 1.44 kg, bought as 1 kg + 500 g = ₹12,154; total ₹50,537 for 10 kg against 9.6 kg needed, and ₹50,537 ÷ 600 = ₹84.23 a candle. Oil per candle = price per gram × 16: Apple Cinnamon ₹75.90, Cinnamon Vanilla ₹72.88 at 1 kg and ₹77.41 at 100 g, Pomegranate Splash ₹63.98 at 1 kg and ₹63.84 at 100 g, White Royal Oud ₹129.65 at 1 kg and ₹138.67 at 15 g. Wax: 110.4 kg met by 11 × ₹5,999 + ₹299 = ₹66,288 for 110.5 kg, ₹599.89 a kilo; wax per candle 184 g × ₹0.599 = ₹110.42. Wicks 600 × ₹5.90 = ₹3,540. Reorder triggers: grams a week = candles a week × 16 g; a 1 kg bottle lasts 1,000 ÷ grams a week, giving 6.2 weeks at 160 g, 2.5 weeks at 400 g and 1.2 weeks at 800 g. Five kilos of Apple Cinnamon at listed prices = 5 × ₹4,743.60 = ₹23,718. Stated specifications as published: Apple Cinnamon strength "Strong — bold and festive at higher loads", 6–10% for soy with a 48–72 hour cure, 6–8% paraffin, 10–15% wax melts; Cinnamon Vanilla flashpoint 270°F, up to 13% of total wax weight across soy, paraffin and natural wax blends; Pomegranate Splash recommended load 8–10% in soy wax; White Royal Oud strength "Strong — opulent", 6–10% for candles and 10–15% for wax melts; Luxury Soy Wax Chunks 8–13% with 10% recommended, fragrance at 80–90°C, pour 70–80°C. The 3–5% spill allowance and the fortnight cure are our planning figures.
