Soy Candle Fragrance Oils Delivered to Bhopal

What load should I pour in soy? The lower of two stated ceilings: the oil's and your wax's. CSI 464 states up to 10%, Luxury Soy Wax Chunks up to 13%. An oil stating 7–9% in a 13% wax means 9%, not 13%.
What does a soy candle cost to make? Per 200 g candle, wax plus oil: ₹118.73 in Eco Soy CSI 400 with Citrus Lemon at 8%, ₹186.20 in CSI 464 with Apple Cinnamon at 10%, ₹222.65 in Luxury Soy Wax Chunks with Cinnamon Vanilla at 13%.
How long before you judge it? Many of these pages state 48–72 hours for soy as a minimum before burn testing; a candle you intend to sell gets the standard 14 to 21 day cure. Both clocks matter when you work back from a festival date.
The 37 pages that name soy
This is the honest filter. CSI's 107 fragrance listings split four ways on what they say about candle load, and the split is worth knowing before you shortlist.
| Kind of page | Count | Example wording | What you do with it |
|---|---|---|---|
| States a load for soy wax | 37 | "Up to 10% for soy wax" · "8-10% in soy wax" | Start at the floor of the band, check your wax ceiling, burn test |
| One figure for soy, paraffin and blends together | 32 | "Candles (Soy / Paraffin / Blends) 10%" with "start at 7%" | Usable, but a perfume-grade table figure, not soy guidance. Start at 7% |
| A candle load without naming a wax | 12 | "Recommended fragrance load 6-10% for candles" | Treat as a candle band; hold to 8% for a first soy test |
| No candle load at all | 26 | Nothing on load anywhere on the page | Pour at 8%, log everything, scale only after a cured jar burns |
Now the shortlist. Load wording is quoted from each page. The per-candle column uses the stated ceiling, so it is what the oil costs when the recipe is at its published maximum, not at a flattering 8%.

The lower-of-two-ceilings rule
This is the most useful habit in soy candle making and it takes ten seconds. Your load is limited twice: once by the oil, once by the wax. The two numbers come from two different pages, they are often different, and the operative load is the smaller of the two. Below it both pages agree with you; above either one you are outside what anybody has published.
| Soy wax and its stated ceiling | Oil's stated soy figure | Operative load | Oil in a 200 g candle |
|---|---|---|---|
| Luxury Soy Wax Chunks — up to 13% (8–13%, 10% recommended) | Up to 10% for soy wax | 10% | 20 g |
| Luxury Soy Wax Chunks — up to 13% | 7-9% in soy wax | 9% | 18 g |
| Luxury Soy Wax Chunks — up to 13% | Up to 13% of total wax weight (Cinnamon Vanilla) | 13% | 26 g |
| Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 — up to 10% | Up to 13% of total wax weight (Cinnamon Vanilla) | 10% — the wax is the limit here | 20 g |
| Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 — up to 10% | 8-10% in soy wax | 10% | 20 g |
| Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468 — up to 13% | 7-9% in soy wax | 9% | 18 g |
| Eco Soy CSI 400 — states no load | Any stated soy figure | Start at 8%, do not exceed the oil's figure | 16 g |
| Natural Soy Pearl Wax — states no load | Any stated soy figure | Start at 8%, treat the whole recipe as untested | 16 g |
Four soy pairings that publish their numbers
Each card names an oil whose page states a soy figure, the wax it pairs cleanly with, and the operative load that comes out of the two — plus every listed pack and how many 200 g candles at 8% each one scents.

A soy candle costed at its operative load
Pairing decisions are easier when you can see what each costs. The table prices wax and oil inside one 200 g candle at the operative load. Wick, vessel, label and packaging sit on top; they are your choices, not the pairing's.
| Soy wax | Fragrance oil | Load | Wax cost | Oil cost | Wax + oil |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Eco Soy CSI 400 ₹399/kg | Citrus Lemon ₹2,832/kg | 8% | ₹73.42 | ₹45.31 | ₹118.73 |
| Luxury Soy Wax Chunks ₹599/kg | Eucalyptus Spearmint ₹3,068/kg | 10% | ₹107.82 | ₹61.36 | ₹169.18 |
| Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 ₹507.40/kg | Verbena ₹4,720/kg | 10% | ₹91.33 | ₹94.40 | ₹185.73 |
| Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 ₹507.40/kg | Apple Cinnamon ₹4,743.60/kg | 10% | ₹91.33 | ₹94.87 | ₹186.20 |
| Luxury Soy Wax Chunks ₹599/kg | Love Spell ₹4,499/kg | 10% | ₹107.82 | ₹89.98 | ₹197.80 |
| Luxury Soy Wax Chunks ₹599/kg | Cinnamon Vanilla ₹4,554.80/kg | 13% | ₹104.23 | ₹118.42 | ₹222.65 |
| Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468 ₹650/kg | Coffee Vanilla Tobacco ₹8,599/kg | 9% | ₹118.30 | ₹154.78 | ₹273.08 |
| Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468 ₹650/kg | Lavender Cranberry Coconut ₹7,999/kg | 10% | ₹117.00 | ₹159.98 | ₹276.98 |
Three conclusions. The wax spread is small and the oil spread is large — ₹73.42 to ₹118.30 against ₹45.31 to ₹159.98 — so the oil is where cost decisions live. A higher ceiling costs money: Cinnamon Vanilla at 13% uses 30% more oil than at 10%, or ₹27.33 a candle. And the cheapest pairing here is ₹118.73 against ₹276.98 — both legitimate candles, aimed at different shelves.
Pale soy wax and the discolouration line
Soy candles are usually sold pale, and that is the palette in which a vanillin-bearing oil shows itself. Thirty-three of the 37 soy-stating pages publish a vanillin or discolouration line, from "zero risk" to an explicit warning. Read it before you pick the dye, not after the first customer photograph.
| Published wording | Oils that say it | What to do in pale soy |
|---|---|---|
| "Vanillin Content 0% Zero discoloration risk - safe in white, light, and uncoloured wax" | Eucalyptus Spearmint; Verbena states "0% (No discoloration risk)"; Blue Ocean "0% - no discolouration, safe for white and light wax" | Use undyed. No colour contingency needed |
| "Vanillin content Approximately 0%" | Citrus Lemon, described as "generally safe for white and light-coloured wax" | Use undyed, but pour one control tile and keep it for a month |
| "Vanillin content Present - slight yellowing possible in white wax" | Love Spell; Apple Cinnamon states "Vanillin Present" with "test in white wax"; Forever Red "yellowing possible in white wax" | Plan a cream, blush or amber colourway, or accept a warm drift |
| "will cause significant browning in white or light-coloured wax over time" | Coffee Vanilla Tobacco; Lavender Cranberry Coconut warns of "soft cream or pale golden toning" | Design the candle dark from the start — the page even names the colours |
Soy in a Bhopal workroom
Soy is the most weather-sensitive of the common candle waxes, and central India gives you three distinct working seasons. None of the following is a weather statistic — it is material behaviour you can watch on your own bench, and it changes what a stated pour temperature actually gets you.
| Season | What soy does | What the fix is |
|---|---|---|
| Hot, dry pre-monsoon weeks | Wax softens in the bag; a fully cured candle can slump and lose its surface in a closed room or a parked car; oil left open reads sharper and shorter | Pour in the cool part of the day, box finished stock away from sun and metal, and keep every bottle sealed between pours |
| Monsoon | Cold glass picks up condensation, so jars poured straight from a damp store show wet spots and labels lift; wick stickers stop sticking | Bring jars to room temperature before pouring, keep wicks and stickers in a closed box, keep cartons off the floor |
| Cool, dry winter | Wax sets faster and contracts more: sinkholes, frosting and wet spots all read stronger, and a recipe that passed in September can fail in December | Warm the jars, hold the pour band the wax page states, and re-run one control jar when the season turns |
Season also decides what sells. Diwali 2026 falls on 8 November, with Navratri and Dussehra ahead of it and Christmas, New Year and the winter wedding season behind. That shapes the shortlist as much as price does: the gourmand and spiced oils above — Cinnamon Vanilla, Apple Cinnamon, Dark Vanilla — are cool-weather scents, while the citrus and aquatic ones carry the hot months. Planning a festive line without buying nine oils is covered in how to create a festive candle collection without buying too many oils, and the summer side in best fragrance oils for Indian summers.
Ordering soy oils, and the cure runway
There is no CSI counter in Bhopal to top up from, so a soy range is planned in packs and weeks rather than trips. This sequence wastes the least money, and it ends where every honest fragrance page ends: 1 kg is the largest listed pack, and above it you ask.
CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies candle raw materials and does not sell finished candles, and it is not a manufacturer of wax or fragrance oil. The commercially convenient version of this page would call all 107 oils "perfect for soy". Instead it counts the 37 whose pages state a soy figure, names the 26 with a live kilo that are worth shortlisting, and says plainly that 26 listings state no candle load at all.
Every price, pack, stated load, cure time, flash point and vanillin figure comes from live CSI stock in September 2026 and is quoted in the product page's own words, with a link to that page where current information always takes precedence. Flash points appear only for oils publishing a measured value; the shared template line about a threshold above 93°C is not a measurement and is not quoted as one. Stated loads are formulation limits, not regulatory limits, and no throw result is claimed because throw is a property of a finished candle.

Figures verified September 2026: Of 107 CSI fragrance-oil listings, 37 state a fragrance load whose wording names soy wax, 32 state a single figure for soy, paraffin and blends together, 12 state a candle load without naming a wax and 26 state no candle load. Within the 37: 32 have a live 1 kg, 26 carry the full 15 g / 50 g / 100 g / 500 g / 1 kg ladder, 17 publish a measured flash point, 33 publish a vanillin or discolouration line and 14 carry published reviews. Stated soy bands across the 37 are set out in the diagram above and total 15 + 12 + 7 + 2 + 1. Every 1 kg price used in the arithmetic is printed in the shortlist table, from Citrus Lemon ₹2,832 to Gingham Heart of Gold ₹10,800; the six soy-stating oils with a live kilo not in that table are Pomegranate Splash ₹3,999, Bergamot Amber ₹5,437, Juicy Orange ₹7,499, Solar Bloom ₹7,499, Pink Crush ₹8,899 and Gilli Mitti ₹8,960. Love Spell's smallest size is 50 g at ₹249. Soy and coconut-soy wax prices per 1 kg: Eco Soy CSI 400 ₹399, Natural Soy Pearl ₹450, Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 ₹507.40, Luxury Soy Wax Chunks ₹599, Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468 ₹650. Stated wax specifications: Luxury Soy Wax Chunks up to 13% (8–13%, 10% recommended), fragrance at 80–90°C, pour 70–80°C, cure minimum 48 hours and ideally 1–2 weeks before burn testing; CSI 464 up to 10%; CSI 468 up to 13%, melt 50–53°C, pour 58–60°C; Eco Soy CSI 400 states no load and specifies adding fragrance at 80–90°C (85°C) with a two-minute stir; Natural Soy Pearl Wax states no load. Eco Candle Wicks ₹5.90 each from 10 (₹59) to 1,000 (₹5,900). Costing convention: load is a percentage of the finished candle, so a 200 g candle is 16 g oil / 184 g wax at 8%, 18 g / 182 g at 9%, 20 g / 180 g at 10% and 26 g / 174 g at 13%; some pages phrase it as a share of total wax weight instead. The 3–5% wax allowance is a planning figure. Twelve kilos of Eucalyptus Spearmint at the listed price is ₹36,816, a ceiling rather than a quote. Diwali 2026 falls on 8 November 2026; a 14–21 day cure for soy container candles is standard practice. Loads are formulation limits, not regulatory limits. No CSI fragrance page states a shelf life, storage specification or minimum order quantity, and none is claimed here. Prices and availability change — the linked product pages are always authoritative.
