On CSI 464 the price per kilogram is identical from the 1 kg bag to the 10 kg bag, so a 25 kg order does not make each candle cheaper. What it changes is how long your money sits in a bag. For a small business, that is the number worth working out before you choose between the two ends of this range.
Months of stock
Divide the candles a quantity makes by the candles you actually sell each month. At 200 g, 10 kg makes 54 candles and 25 kg makes 135. If you sell about 30 a month, 10 kg is under two months of wax and 25 kg is four and a half. If you sell about 60 a month, 10 kg lasts less than a month and 25 kg a little over two.
