"I have been using this melter for about 9 months now and it is simply the best. In terms of melting time, 10 kgs of wax melts in mere 20-30 minutes, the funnel is soo good, the wax is never stuck. I do not have to worry about temperatures at all, since the temperature knob does everything for me. Most of all, this is very very cost effective. Same thing is sold via ToAuto for ₹45,000 and in that too we need to get a step down converter worth ₹12,000 which is the worst thing., as the total investment then would be ₹57,000."

Twelve grams of oil per candle is the easy part. This is the rest: kilograms per run, the cheapest pack mix oil by oil, the full material bill, and the routine that keeps the thousandth candle smelling like the first.
12 kg
hotel-style oil for 1,000 candles at 8% · pack plan ₹60,800.56 · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
How much fragrance oil do I need for 1,000 candles? At 8% in a 150 g candle, 12 kg: every candle takes 12 g of oil and 138 g of wax. For 500 candles, 6 kg; for 250, 3 kg. Add a small allowance (we use at least 3%) for jug residue and a check candle per bottle.

What does the oil cost for a hotel-style run? For a five-scent line split 40/20/20/10/10, the oil comes to ₹17,634.52 for 250 candles, ₹32,062.90 for 500 and ₹60,800.56 for 1,000, which is ₹70.54, ₹64.13 and ₹60.80 of oil per candle.

Is 1 kg always the cheapest way to buy? No. Sage and Cedarwood's 1 kg costs more per gram than its 500 g, two 500 g packs of Bergamot Amber cost ₹1.00 less than one 1 kg, and Woody Oud is priced flat per gram from 100 g. Build each order from the cheapest mix of packs, oil by oil.

How do I keep batches consistent? Keep a reference candle and a retained sample of every bottle, check each new bottle against them before it goes into a pour, and ask on WhatsApp whether a large order can ship from one lot.
The short answer
The maths: candles × 12 g = oil at 8%. 250 candles = 3 kg, 500 = 6 kg, 1,000 = 12 kg. Wax is candles × 138 g.
The split: one hero scent takes 40% of the run, two core scents 20% each, two supporting scents 10% each, until your own sell-through says otherwise.
The packs: hero in 500 g units; Cucumber Green Tea in 1 kg; Sage and Cedarwood only in 500 g; Woody Oud in any size (flat per gram from 100 g); Verbena in 1 kg once you need 1 kg.
The full bill: oil, CSI 464 wax, C1 wicks and 150 g clear jars come to ₹232.14 per candle at 1,000 units, before labour, freight, packaging and GST. The jar costs more than the oil.
Oil per production run, split by scent role 150 g candles at 8% = 12 g oil each. Bar length = oil needed; figure below = what the pack plan buys and costs. 250 candles 3.0 kg at 8% 1.2 kg Pack plan buys 3.5 kg · oil ₹17,634.52 · ₹70.54 of oil per candle 500 candles 6.0 kg at 8% 2.4 kg 1.2 kg 1.2 kg Pack plan buys 6.5 kg · oil ₹32,062.90 · ₹64.13 of oil per candle 1,000 candles 12.0 kg at 8% 4.8 kg 2.4 kg 2.4 kg 1.2 kg 1.2 kg Pack plan buys 12.6 kg · oil ₹60,800.56 · ₹60.80 of oil per candle Bergamot Amber · hero 40% Cucumber Green Tea · core 20% Sage and Cedarwood · core 20% Woody Oud · support 10% Verbena · support 10% Pack plans cover the need plus at least 3%, using the cheapest in-stock mix of 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg packs. CSI live pricing, verified 24 September 2026. Oil only: excludes wax, jars, wicks, labour, freight, packaging and GST.
How much oil each production run needs and how it divides between one hero, two core and two supporting scents. At 250 candles each supporting scent needs only 300 g, which is why small runs should not be bought in kilograms; at 1,000 candles the hero alone needs 4.8 kg.
Straight answer
I manufacture candles. How much hotel-style fragrance oil do I order for 250, 500 or 1,000 candles, in which packs, and what will it cost?
At 8% in a 150 g candle you need 12 g of oil per candle: 3 kg for 250, 6 kg for 500 and 12 kg for 1,000. Split across a five-scent hotel-style line (Bergamot Amber as hero, Cucumber Green Tea and Sage and Cedarwood as core, Woody Oud and Verbena as support), the cheapest in-stock pack plans on 24 September 2026 cost ₹17,634.52, ₹32,062.90 and ₹60,800.56 for the oil. Buy the hero in 500 g units, never buy Sage and Cedarwood in 1 kg at the listed price, and do not buy kilograms of a supporting scent for a 250-candle run. With CSI 464 wax, C1 wicks and 150 g clear jars, the full material bill is ₹232,136.56 for 1,000 candles, ₹232.14 each, excluding labour, freight, packaging and GST. Before you order, send the plan on WhatsApp for a bulk quote and a dispatch date.
One line: multiply candles by 12 g, split by role, then buy each oil in whichever pack mix is actually cheapest per gram — which is not always the biggest.
The hero is the biggest line on every run. Bergamot Amber 500 g is ₹2,718.00 (₹5.44 per gram, 41 candles at 8%). Two of them cost ₹5,436.00; the 1 kg is ₹5,437.00. Same oil, same per-gram band, and two bottles are easier to rotate.
Buy Bergamot Amber 500 g — ₹2,718.00

The batch maths, from one candle to 1,000

Every production plan starts with one line of arithmetic. Get it wrong and every figure after it is wrong too.

Load is a percentage of the finished candle's weight, not of the wax. A 150 g candle at 8% is 12 g of oil and 138 g of wax. Some pages and tutorials quote load "per pound of wax" or as oil added to a fixed wax weight; if you mix the two methods across a production team, candles poured on different days will not match. Pick total-weight loading, write it on the pouring sheet, and weigh everything.

Oil and wax by run size · 150 g candles
Total-weight basis: at 8%, oil is 12 g and wax is 138 g per candle
Run Oil at 6% (9 g) Oil at 8% (12 g) Oil at 10% (15 g) Wax at 8% (138 g) 10 kg melts at 8%
250 candles 2.25 kg 3.0 kg 3.75 kg 34.5 kg 4 (last one part-full)
500 candles 4.5 kg 6.0 kg 7.5 kg 69 kg 7
1,000 candles 9.0 kg 12.0 kg 15.0 kg 138 kg 14

The load you test at is the load you manufacture at. The difference between 8% and 10% sounds small until you multiply it: on the 400 hero candles in a 1,000 run, pouring Bergamot Amber at 10% instead of 8% adds 1.2 kg of oil and ₹6,523.20 of cost. If your test candles passed at 8%, stay at 8%. Every oil in this line states a candle maximum of 10% on its page, and Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 states a ceiling of up to 10% too; the lower of the two ceilings governs, and a ceiling is a formulation limit, not a target. Which families behave how in soy is the subject of Premium Hotel Fragrance Oils for Soy Candles; here we assume you have already chosen a load.

One melt, how many candles

If you melt in a 10 kg vessel such as CSI's electric wax melter (₹21,240.00 for the 10 kg model), one full melt of 10 kg of wax is enough for 72 candles at 138 g each, with a little left over. That gives you the rhythm of the day: 1,000 candles is 14 melts, and a 250-candle run fits in four. Plan one fragrance per melt; adding oil to a partial melt and topping up with wax is how loads drift.

Mistake: calculating oil as 8% of the wax weight (11.04 g in 138 g) on one shift and 8% of the candle (12 g) on another. Fix: fix the method on paper: "150 g jar = 138 g wax + 12 g oil". At 1,000 candles the gap between the two methods is almost a kilogram of oil, and a customer will notice the weaker candles before you do.

Hero and supporting scents: splitting the oil

A five-scent line does not sell in fifths. Order as if it does and you will run out of one scent while four sit in the store room.

Until you have your own sales history, split the run by role. We use 40/20/20/10/10: the hero takes the largest share, two core scents cover the main alternative tastes, and two supporting scents give the line range without tying up money. The proportions are a starting assumption, not data about what sells; the second run should use your first run's sell-through instead. What these roles mean for naming and positioning a line is the job of Best Hotel-Inspired Fragrances for a Luxury Candle Brand.

Why this hero

Bergamot Amber's page names notes in all three roles (bright bergamot top, warm amber and soft floral heart, woody musk and vanilla base) — as do the Cucumber Green Tea and Woody Oud pages — states a candle load, and it is in stock at every size on 24 September 2026. A hero has to survive being the only candle a customer buys, so it must be complete on its own. Cucumber Green Tea is fresher and cheaper but lighter in the base; Woody Oud is deeper but divides people. That is why they are core and support, not hero. The reasoning for the wider hotel style, and the short list it came from, is on the hub page, Buy Hotel-Inspired Fragrance Oils for Candle Making in India.

When to change the split

Change it after the first run, not before. If a core scent sells out first, promote it to hero share on the next run; if a supporting scent is still on the shelf when the hero has gone, drop it to a 5% share or rotate it out. Decision rules for 1 kg inventory across many oils are covered in I'm Buying Multiple Fragrance Oils in 1 Kg Quantities — How Should I Decide Which Ones Deserve Bulk Inventory?, and a step-by-step launch sequence with reorder triggers in I'm Launching a Hotel-Inspired Candle Collection — Which Fragrance Oils Should I Buy First?.

B2B orders change the maths
A hotel, café or corporate client who orders 200 candles of one scent is not part of your split. Price and buy that order separately, as its own line on the pack plan, so it does not eat the hero stock meant for your retail run.

Pack plans for 250, 500 and 1,000 candles

For each oil we took the grams needed, added at least 3% for jug residue and a check candle per bottle (our allowance, not a rule), and found the cheapest combination of the 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg packs in stock on 24 September 2026. The full per-gram ladder for every hotel-style oil is explained in Hotel-Inspired Candle Fragrance Oils Wholesale in India; here we only use it.

Oil cost per candle falls from ₹70.54 at 250 candles to ₹60.80 at 1,000, 13.8% lower. Most of that saving comes from buying fewer small packs and carrying less leftover oil, not from dramatic bulk discounts: on this line, the per-gram step from 500 g to 1 kg is small or absent.

Five pack facts that shape the plan

1. Sage and Cedarwood: 500 g only. Its 1 kg is ₹6,867.60 (₹6.87/g) and its 500 g is ₹2,584.20 (₹5.17/g), so the 1 kg is 33% dearer per gram. For the 1,000 run, 2.5 kg bought as five 500 g packs costs ₹12,921.00; bought as two 1 kg and one 500 g it would cost ₹16,319.40, ₹3,398.40 more for the same oil. Per candle, that is ₹62.02 of oil against ₹82.41. If you want it in kilograms, ask us on WhatsApp before ordering.

2. Bergamot Amber: 500 g and 1 kg are the same per gram. Both are ₹5.44/g; two 500 g packs even cost ₹1.00 less than one 1 kg. We buy the hero in 500 g units because each opened bottle is used within a day or two of pouring. Oil per candle is ₹65.23 at the 500 g price and ₹67.20 at the 100 g price.

3. Cucumber Green Tea: the 1 kg earns its place. At ₹3.33/g, the 1 kg is 5.7% cheaper per gram than the 100 g, and it is the least expensive oil in the line: ₹39.93 of oil per candle. Buy it in kilograms from the 500 run upward.

4. Woody Oud: flat from 100 g. The 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg are all ₹4.53/g, ₹54.37 per candle. There is no bulk saving at all, so buy exactly what the run needs in 100 g steps. For 300 g, four 100 g packs are ₹453.12 cheaper in cash than a 500 g pack, with 100 g less left over.

5. Verbena: small runs pay the small-pack price. At 1 kg it is ₹4.72/g (₹56.64 per candle), 20% below the 100 g's ₹5.90/g (₹70.80 per candle). For a 250 run that needs only 300 g, four 100 g packs are the cheapest cash outlay, but a 500 g pack costs only ₹118.00 more for 100 g extra. If a second run is certain, take the 500 g.

Argued against our own interest: we sell the 1 kg bottles, and a manufacturer is exactly who we would like to sell them to. But on a 250-candle run, none of these five oils needs a 1 kg bottle, and buying one "to be safe" parks ₹3,327.60 to ₹6,867.60 of oil on a shelf for a scent that may not reorder. Buy the 250 run in 100 g and 500 g packs; buy kilograms from the second run, for the scents that sold.

The five oils in this production line

Five oils chosen for a manufacturer's reasons: a stated candle load, stock at the sizes you need, and a per-gram price that holds at volume.

Ranked by share of the run. Descriptions quote each product page; roles and limitations are our judgement. CSI has no throw measurements for these oils, and we do not rank them on strength (the structural argument about which hotel-style oils carry furthest is in Strong Hotel-Inspired Fragrance Oils for Candle Making).

1
citrus amber · hero · 40% of the run
Bergamot Amber Fragrance Oil
The hero because it is complete: the page describes "sparkling bergamot and citrus top notes, warm amber and soft floral heart, woody musk and smooth vanilla base" and states "6-10% for soy wax candles, cure 48-72 hours. 6-8% for paraffin wax". For a manufacturer the stated cure is useful: it is the only oil in this line whose page gives one, so it sets your minimum hold time before dispatch. At 1,000 candles it takes 5 kg in ten 500 g packs. Limitation: the vanilla in the base can tip sweet at the top of the range; confirm your chosen load on a production-batch check candle, not just on the test candle.

2
fresh green · core · 20%
Cucumber Green Tea
The cheapest oil in the line at volume and the fresh counterweight to the hero. Stated notes: "Top Notes: Crisp cucumber, fresh green tea leaves | Heart Notes: Delicate jasmine, hints of lemon | Base Notes: Clean musk, light woods". The page says "we recommend using 8-10% fragrance oil per pound of wax"; that wording is loose, so we apply it on a total-weight basis like everything else in this plan and test within 8–10%. It is a natural summer-leaning core scent for Indian summer (roughly April to June). Limitation: its base is "light woods", so on its own it can read spa rather than hotel; that is fine as a core scent, not as a hero.
Size Price Per gram 150 g candles at 8%
15 gm ₹93.22 ₹6.21 1
50 gm ₹176.41 ₹3.53 4

3
herbal woody · core · 20%
Sage and Cedarwood Fragrance Oil
The dry, clean wood of the line: "Herbaceous sage with warm, woody cedar undertones", with "Recommended Fragrance Load: Up to 10% for soy wax Up to 6% for paraffin wax". It is the scent that makes a mixed hotel-style line feel adult rather than merely fresh. For production it has two quirks: no 15 g size (irrelevant at this scale) and a 1 kg that costs more per gram than the 500 g. Plan it in 500 g packs, always. Limitation: a single-accord oil with no stated top note, so it needs the hero and the fresh scents around it.
Size Price Per gram 150 g candles at 8%
50 gm ₹354.00 ₹7.08 4
100 gm ₹696.20 ₹6.96 8
500 gm ₹2,584.20 ₹5.17 41
1 kg ₹6,867.60 ₹6.87 83
Five 500 g packs cost ₹12,921.00; the 1 kg route to the same 2.5 kg is ₹3,398.40 dearer. Buy Sage and Cedarwood
4
oud / woody · support · 10%
Woody Oud Fragrance Oil
The evening candle of the line at a price that suits volume. The page describes "citrus and spice top notes opening into rich oud and patchouli heart, settling into warm woody notes, amber, and musk" and states "candles (6-10%)". At ₹4.53/g it is 44% cheaper per gram than White Royal Oud (₹8.10/g), so it is the practical oud for a production line; White Royal Oud would cost ₹97.24 of oil per candle instead of ₹54.37. One customer review on its page, shown at the top of this guide, describes a warm, long-lasting scent; that is one buyer's experience, not a measurement. Limitation: oud and patchouli are polarising; keep it at a support share until it proves itself.
Size Price Per gram 150 g candles at 8%
15 gm ₹93.22 ₹6.21 1
50 gm ₹271.40 ₹5.43 4

500 gm ₹2,265.60 ₹4.53 41
1 kg ₹4,531.20 ₹4.53 83
Flat ₹4.53/g from 100 g to 1 kg: buy exactly what the run needs. Buy Woody Oud
5
citrus herbal · support · 10%
Verbena Fragrance Oil
The bright, lemony support scent: "Crisp lemony verbena with herbal undertones", with "Recommended Fragrance Load: Up to 10% for soy wax Up to 6% for paraffin wax". In a hotel-style line it plays the morning or terrace candle, and it gives the range a clean citrus option that is less sweet than orange. Limitation: citrus-herbal tops are the first thing a burning candle spends, and the page names no base notes, so test the full burn, not just the first hour. Its 1 kg is the cheapest per gram, but a support scent rarely needs one until the 1,000 run.
Size Price Per gram 150 g candles at 8%

Not in this line, and why: Vetiver is out of stock at 1 kg on 24 September 2026 (the 500 g at ₹2,900.00 is in stock); the listing named "Mahogany Teakwood Bath and Body Works Inspired Fragrance Oil" is CSI's product listing name, the oil is CSI's interpretation, CSI is not affiliated with the brand, and at a flat ₹8.80/g it puts ₹105.60 of oil in each candle; White Royal Oud is excellent but ₹8.10/g. Put any of them into a production line only after a test run proves they sell at the price they need.

Wax, wicks and jars at production scale

Oil is the line manufacturers worry about, but it is not the largest. Here is the full material bill for each run using Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 in 10 kg bags, Eco Candle Wicks, Thin (C1) and the Clear Glass Jar with Golden Lid (150 gram) in packs of 20 (plus one pack of 10 for the 250 run, so the jar count matches the candle count). Swap in your own vessel and wick as needed; the method stays the same.

Three things the bill tells a manufacturer

Wax and wicks do not get cheaper with volume. CSI 464 is ₹0.51 per gram in the 1 kg, 5 kg and 10 kg bags alike; the 10 kg bag saves handling, not money. C1 wicks are ₹5.90 each in a pack of 10 and ₹5.90 each in a pack of 1,000. The 150 g clear jar is ₹94.40 each in the pack of 10 and ₹94.40 in the pack of 20. Order these for convenience and stock security, not for a discount the list prices do not offer; for anything larger, ask on WhatsApp.

The jar is the biggest line. Worked example, a Bergamot Amber candle at production prices: 12 g of oil at the 500 g price (₹65.23) + 138 g of CSI 464 (₹70.02) + one jar from a pack of 20 (₹94.40) + one C1 wick (₹5.90) = ₹235.55. Oil is 28% of that; the jar is 40%. Excludes labour, freight, packaging and GST. If you need to take cost out of a hotel-style line, look at the vessel before you look at a cheaper oil; how vessel and price tier work together for a premium candle is covered in Hotel Fragrance Oils for Luxury Candles.

Wax choice at 140 kg is a real number. Luxury Soy Wax Chunks are ₹0.60 per gram at 10 kg (140 kg: ₹83,986.00, ₹12,950.00 more than CSI 464) and Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468 is ₹0.64 per gram (140 kg: ₹89,180.00). Both state a ceiling up to 13%, headroom an 8% line does not use. Switch wax only after a test pour; never mid-run.

Wick is a test result, not a line item
C1 is the starting point in this bill because it is the cheapest to test. Jar diameters are not published for most vessels, so we will not tell you C1 is right for yours: run a melt-pool test on the production jar and oil, and move to Thick (C2) or cotton braided wicks from the Candle Wicks collection if the pool does not reach the edge in two to three hours.

Keeping batch one and batch twelve the same

Customers forgive a scent they do not like. They do not forgive the second candle smelling different from the first.

A 1,000-candle run of five scents means 26 bottles of oil on the pack plan above, possibly from more than one production lot, poured over several days by more than one person. Consistency is a process on your bench, not a promise anyone can print on a label. This is the routine we would run; what to ask a supplier about batch consistency before you choose one is in Luxury Hotel Fragrance Oil Supplier in India.

1
Keep a reference candle from the approved testBefore the first production order, keep one lidded candle of each scent from the test batch that passed, labelled with oil, load, wick, wax and pour date. That candle is the standard every later batch is checked against. Do not burn it except to compare.
2
Ask about lots before you payFor a large order, ask on WhatsApp whether each oil can ship from a single batch, and request MSDS and IFRA documentation for the oils on the order. If the answer is that a quantity spans two lots, plan the pour so each lot goes into its own set of candles.
3
Retain a sample from every bottleOn arrival, write the arrival date and any batch marking from the label on each bottle, and decant 10 ml into a sealed glass vial. CSI's attar bottles (12 ml, pack of 10, ₹360.00, ₹36.00 each) do the job. Store the vials cool, dark and capped.
4
Compare every new bottle before it enters a meltDip a paper strip in the new bottle and one in the retained sample of the approved bottle; smell both at once, then again after 15 minutes. If they differ noticeably, do not pour: pour one check candle and burn it beside the reference candle first.
5
One bottle, one meltNever top up a half-used bottle from a new one, and never mix bottles in a melt. Finish one bottle per melt where possible and write the bottle number on the pouring sheet.
6
Code the candleMark every candle base with a batch code that traces back to the melt date and oil bottle. When a customer says a reorder smells different, you can check the retained sample for that bottle instead of guessing.
What we cannot promise, said plainly: no supplier can honestly promise that two production lots of a fragrance oil smell identical, and we will not claim to. What we can do is tell you, before you order, whether your quantity is in stock, and share documentation on request. The retained-sample routine above is how manufacturers protect themselves regardless of supplier.

Lead time and a dated production calendar

CSI's product pages do not state dispatch times for multiple-kilogram orders, and delivery depends on your city, so we will not print a lead time here. Confirm stock and a dispatch date on WhatsApp before you give a client a delivery date. Then work backwards: arrival, bottle checks, pouring days, cure, packing, dispatch. Bergamot Amber's page states a 48–72 hour cure; the other four pages do not state one, so as a matter of judgement we hold every production candle for at least seven days before it ships, which is common practice for soy.

The Diwali column is tight: 24 September to 8 November is 45 days, and the plan above needs the pack plan confirmed within days. If your hotel-style line has not been through a test burn yet, do not make Diwali its first production run; use it for a 250-candle run (₹17,634.52 in oil) and keep the 1,000 run for Christmas. Indian summer (roughly April to June) is the natural window to lift Cucumber Green Tea and Verbena above their 20% and 10% shares; winter (roughly December to February, colder in the North) favours the woods. Where to place multi-kilogram orders, and how to request the GST invoice and documents, is covered in Where to Buy Hotel-Inspired Fragrance Oils in Bulk in India.

Christmas 25 December 2026, 1,000 candles: 12 kg of oil at 8%, ₹60,800.56 on the pack plan above. Send the plan by 26 October 2026 for a bulk quote, GST invoice and a confirmed dispatch date; for Diwali 8 November 2026, the 500-candle plan needs confirming by 29 September.

The CSI principle
Buy by the gram you need, not the kilogram you imagine.
At production scale, the saving comes from matching packs to the run and carrying less leftover oil. On this line the 1 kg is sometimes cheaper per gram, sometimes the same and once dearer; the pack plan, not the pack size, is what saves money.
"Twelve grams a candle is the easy part. The hard part is making the thousandth candle smell like the first."

Why trust this guide

CandleMakingSuppliesIndia sells the oils, wax, wicks and jars in these pack plans and does not sell finished candles. We have written the plans to be cheapest for you, which means telling you not to buy some of our 1 kg bottles and not to buy kilograms at all for a small run.

Every price, pack size and per-gram figure was taken from CSI's live store and verified on 24 September 2026; out-of-stock sizes, such as Vetiver 1 kg, are flagged and left out of the plans. Candle loads, notes and the one stated cure are quoted from the product pages. Every total on this page is declared as a calculation you can check.

The 40/20/20/10/10 split, the 3% allowance, the seven-day hold, the bottle-checking routine and the calendar are our judgement, labelled as such; CSI has no throw or sell-through data for these oils. For bulk pricing, GST invoicing, and MSDS and IFRA documentation on request, message us on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926.

Frequently asked questions

How many kg of fragrance oil do I need for 1000 candles?
For 150 g candles at 8% of total weight, 12 kg: 12 g per candle. At 6% it is 9 kg; at 10%, 15 kg. Add a small allowance (we use at least 3%) for jug residue and check candles. Wax at 8% is 138 kg.
What is the cheapest way to buy fragrance oil in bulk for candle production?
Oil by oil, the cheapest mix of in-stock packs, which is not always the 1 kg. On the hotel-style line here, Sage and Cedarwood's 1 kg is 33% dearer per gram than its 500 g, Woody Oud is flat from 100 g, and two 500 g packs of Bergamot Amber cost ₹1.00 less than one 1 kg. The 1,000-candle oil plan comes to ₹60,800.56.
How should I split fragrance oil stock between scents in a candle line?
Without sales data, by role: one hero at about 40% of the run, two core scents at 20% each and two supporting scents at 10% each. That is a starting assumption. After the first run, reset the split to what sold.
How do candle manufacturers keep fragrance consistent between batches?
Keep a reference candle from the approved test, retain a small sealed sample from every bottle, compare each new bottle to it before pouring, use one bottle per melt, and code each candle to its melt and bottle. Ask the supplier whether a large order can ship from one lot.
What does it cost to make 1000 soy candles in India?
Worked example with CSI materials on 24 September 2026: oil ₹60,800.56, CSI 464 wax ₹71,036.00, C1 wicks ₹5,900.00 and 150 g clear jars ₹94,400.00, total ₹232,136.56 or ₹232.14 per candle. That excludes labour, freight, packaging and GST.
How far ahead should I order fragrance oil for Diwali production?
Work backwards from 8 November 2026: dispatch to retailers by about 24 October, a seven-day hold before that, pouring days before that, and oil in hand a few days before pouring. For a 500-candle run that means confirming the order by the end of September. Confirm the dispatch date on WhatsApp.

About this guide: the manufacturer's bulk page of CSI's hotel-inspired cluster. It turns a five-scent hotel-style line into oil quantities, pack plans and material bills for 250, 500 and 1,000 candles, and sets out a batch-consistency routine. It does not name, imitate or claim to reproduce any real hotel's scent, and CSI is not affiliated with any brand named in its own product listings.
