Six oils, six jobs: an opener, an air note, a soft floral, a clean wood, an evening wood and a signature that ties them together. Priced to the rupee at sample, launch and production depth, with the one fact most kits hide: the biggest tier is no cheaper per gram.
₹14,606.80
the launch tier: six hotel-style oils × 500 g, 246 candles at 8% · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
What is in a professional hotel fragrance oil collection? Six oils, each with one job: an opener (Lemongrass and Lime), a fresh air note (Blue Ocean), a soft floral (Jasmine), a clean wood (Sage and Cedarwood), an evening wood (Woody Oud) and a signature that bridges them (Bergamot Amber). All six state a candle load of up to 10% and are in stock at the sizes below on 24 September 2026.

What does it cost? Sample tier, 50 g of each: ₹1,712.40. Launch tier, 500 g of each: ₹14,606.80. Production tier, 1 kg of each in the cheapest packs: ₹29,213.60. Oils only; wax to match is priced below.

Is the production kit cheaper per gram? No. On these six oils the production kit averages ₹4.87 per gram, exactly the same as the launch kit (₹4.87): it is two launch kits. The real saving is from sample to launch, 14.7% per gram.

Can CSI supply it as one kit? There is no single "hotel collection" product listing; you order the six oils at the sizes for your tier. Send the list on WhatsApp for one consolidated order, GST invoice and dispatch date.
The short answer
Sample (₹1,712.40): 50 g × 6 = 300 g. Enough to pour every oil at 6%, 8% and 10% with one retest each: 24 candles.
Launch (₹14,606.80): 500 g × 6 = 3 kg. 41 candles per scent at 8%, 246 in all.
Production (₹29,213.60): 1 kg × 6 = 6 kg, with Jasmine, Sage and Cedarwood and Bergamot Amber bought as two 500 g packs, saving ₹1,701.20 against listed 1 kg bottles.
Tighter budget: the core four (signature, clean wood, opener, soft floral) costs ₹1,194.00, ₹9,863.20 and ₹19,726.40 at the three tiers.
One six-oil collection, three budgets Column height = rupees spent; segments = each oil. Same six oils at every tier. ₹1,712.40 ₹5.71/g average SAMPLE 50 g of each 300 g · 24 test candles ₹14,606.80 ₹4.87/g average LAUNCH 500 g of each 3 kg · 246 candles ₹29,213.60 ₹4.87/g average PRODUCTION 1 kg of each 6 kg · about 498 candles Lemongrass and Lime · the opener Blue Ocean · the air Jasmine · the soft floral Sage and Cedarwood · the clean wood Woody Oud · the evening Bergamot Amber · the signature Stack order bottom to top follows the legend. CSI live pricing, verified 24 September 2026; oils only.
The same six oils bought at three depths. The sample tier is small enough to disappear on this scale; the launch and production columns are the same shape because the production tier is exactly two launch tiers, and neither is cheaper per gram than the other.
Straight answer
I make candles professionally. What hotel-style fragrance oil collection should I order, and what will it cost at sample, launch and production quantities?
Order six oils, each doing one job in the set: Lemongrass and Lime opens bright, Blue Ocean adds fresh air, Jasmine softens the heart, Sage and Cedarwood gives the clean wood, Woody Oud covers the evening, and Bergamot Amber is the signature that links both halves. At CSI live pricing on 24 September 2026, 50 g of each costs ₹1,712.40, 500 g of each costs ₹14,606.80, and 1 kg of each, bought in the cheapest packs, costs ₹29,213.60. The last is exactly twice the launch tier, so there is no per-gram reason to jump straight to production; move up only when the volume is real. Every oil states a candle load of up to 10% on its page, matching the 10% ceiling of Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464. Send the list on WhatsApp for one order, a GST invoice and MSDS / IFRA documentation on request.
One line: six oils, six jobs, three depths — ₹1,712.40, ₹14,606.80, ₹29,213.60 — and the jump that saves money per gram is the first one, not the second.
Start with the sample tier. Six 50 g bottles, ₹1,712.40 for 300 g of oil (₹5.71 per gram on average). That is 24 test candles: three loads and a retest for every oil in the collection.

The three budgets, line by line

A kit is only ready to order when every line has a size, a price and a reason.

Each tier uses the same six oils, so what you learn in the sample tier carries straight into the launch tier without re-testing new oils. Candle counts are 150 g candles at 8% (12 g of oil each). The style these oils build, and the simpler first-order basket for someone just starting, are on the hub page, Buy Hotel-Inspired Fragrance Oils for Candle Making in India.

Tier 1 · Sample kit
50 g of each oil: ₹1,712.40 for 300 g
Oil Job in the set Size Price Candles at 8%
Lemongrass and Lime The opener 50 g ₹330.00 4
Blue Ocean The air 50 g ₹247.00 4
Jasmine The soft floral 50 g ₹230.00 4
Sage and Cedarwood The clean wood 50 g ₹354.00 4
Woody Oud The evening 50 g ₹271.40 4
Bergamot Amber The signature 50 g ₹280.00 4
Total 300 g ₹1,712.40 24
Tier 2 · Launch kit
500 g of each oil: ₹14,606.80 for 3 kg
Oil Job in the set Size Price Candles at 8%
Lemongrass and Lime The opener 500 g ₹2,600.00 41
Blue Ocean The air 500 g ₹2,478.00 41
Jasmine The soft floral 500 g ₹1,961.00 41
Sage and Cedarwood The clean wood 500 g ₹2,584.20 41
Woody Oud The evening 500 g ₹2,265.60 41
Bergamot Amber The signature 500 g ₹2,718.00 41
Total 3 kg ₹14,606.80 246
Tier 3 · Production kit
1 kg of each oil in the cheapest in-stock packs: ₹29,213.60 for 6 kg
Oil Job in the set Packs Price Candles at 8%
Lemongrass and Lime The opener 1 × 1 kg ₹5,200.00 82–83
Blue Ocean The air 1 × 1 kg ₹4,956.00 82–83
Jasmine The soft floral 2 × 500 g ₹3,922.00 82–83
Sage and Cedarwood The clean wood 2 × 500 g ₹5,168.40 82–83
Woody Oud The evening 1 × 1 kg ₹4,531.20 82–83
Bergamot Amber The signature 2 × 500 g ₹5,436.00 82–83
Total 6 kg ₹29,213.60 about 498

Why 50 g for the sample tier and not 15 g: a 15 g bottle is one candle at 8%, which tells you whether you like the oil but not what load it wants. Sage and Cedarwood has no 15 g size in any case. The smell-first route with 15 g bottles is explained on the hub page; a professional collection should be tested properly once.

Wax to match each tier

The kit is the oil. To use it you need wax in proportion. Using Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464, priced at ₹0.51 per gram in every bag from 1 kg to 10 kg:

Oil + matching wax · CSI 464
Wax quantities rounded up to whole bags
Tier Oil Wax needed Wax bought Wax cost Oil + wax
Sample ₹1,712.40 about 3.3 kg (24 candles) 4 × 1 kg ₹2,029.60 ₹3,742.00
Launch ₹14,606.80 33.9 kg (246 × 138 g) 3 × 10 kg + 1 × 5 kg ₹17,759.00 ₹32,365.80
Production ₹29,213.60 68.7 kg (498 × 138 g) 7 × 10 kg ₹35,518.00 ₹64,731.60

Jars and wicks depend on your vessels, so they are not in the kit. If you are equipping a new bench, CSI's Candle Making Weighing Scale (₹354.00), Pen Thermometer (₹354.00) and Candle Wax Pouring Jug (₹531.00) add ₹1,239.00. Scaling the collection into a 250–1,000 candle production plan, with jars, wicks and a hero-weighted split, is covered in Bulk Hotel Fragrance Oils for Candle Manufacturers.

Argued against our own interest: we would rather sell you the production kit. Don't order it first. The launch kit gives you 41 candles of every scent at exactly the same average price per gram, and within one season it will tell you which two or three scents deserve kilograms. A production kit of six equal kilograms assumes all six sell equally, and until you have sales data nothing says they will.

What each oil does in the set

A collection is not six favourite oils; it is six jobs. Here is each oil's job, what its page states, and its limitation. Candle loads are quoted from each page. We have no throw measurements for any of them; the structural argument about which hotel-style oils carry furthest is in Strong Hotel-Inspired Fragrance Oils for Candle Making.

1
citrus herbal · THE OPENER · bright arrival
Lemongrass and Lime
The brightest oil in the set, in our judgement. The page describes "zesty lime and fresh lemongrass top notes, light ginger and herbal middle notes, and subtle cedarwood and soft musk base", states "Recommended fragrance load 6-10% for candles", and calls it "IFRA-certified" (the page's wording; ask for the documents). Its cedarwood-musk base means it does not collapse to nothing on a long burn, which is why we chose it over a plain lemon. Job: daytime, reception desks, summer (roughly April to June). Limitation: lemongrass reads "clean spa" to some noses; pair it with the woods in any display so the set still reads hotel.
Size Price Per gram 150 g candles at 8%
15 gm ₹116.52 ₹7.77 1
50 gm ₹330.00 ₹6.60 4
100 gm ₹590.00 ₹5.90 8
500 gm ₹2,600.00 ₹5.20 41
1000 gm ₹5,200.00 ₹5.20 83
1 kg is ₹5.20/g, 21% below the 50 g; the 500 g is the same per gram. Buy Lemongrass and Lime
2
fresh aquatic · THE AIR · open windows
Blue Ocean Fragrance Oil
Hotel-style sets need one scent that smells of air rather than of anything in particular. Blue Ocean's page describes "sea salt and ozone top notes, jasmine and lily of the valley heart, and driftwood and musk base", states "candles (up to 10%)" and describes it as "phthalate-free" (its wording). Job: bathrooms, poolside and coastal clients; the freshest candle in the set. Customer reviews on its page are among those at the top of this guide. Limitation: in our judgement it reads beach or spa before it reads hotel, so it is a supporting scent, not a lead. And it does not get cheaper in bulk: the 1 kg is 0.3% dearer per gram than the 50 g.
Size Price Per gram 150 g candles at 8%
15 gm ₹93.22 ₹6.21 1
50 gm ₹247.00 ₹4.94 4
100 gm ₹495.00 ₹4.95 8
500 gm ₹2,478.00 ₹4.96 41
1 kg ₹4,956.00 ₹4.96 83
₹4.94/g at 50 g, ₹4.96/g at 1 kg: buy it for the scent, not a bulk saving. Buy Blue Ocean
3
white floral · THE SOFT FLORAL · the heart
Jasmine Fragrance Oil
A hotel-style set without one floral feels cold. Jasmine is the least expensive oil in the collection and, in our judgement, a soft floral with a stated load: the page calls it "sweet, floral, and slightly musky with a timeless luxurious aroma" and states "Recommended load up to 10% soy, up to 6% paraffin". Job: bedrooms, wedding and gifting orders, the candle that makes the set feel warm. Limitation: "sweet" is in the page's own description, so test it at 6% before 8% for a restrained hotel read; and a published 4-star review is among those shown on this page.
Size Price Per gram 150 g candles at 8%
15 gm ₹103.00 ₹6.87 1
50 gm ₹230.00 ₹4.60 4
100 gm ₹430.00 ₹4.30 8
500 gm ₹1,961.00 ₹3.92 41
1 kg ₹3,923.00 ₹3.92 83
1 kg is ₹3.92/g, 15% below the 50 g; two 500 g packs cost ₹1.00 less than one 1 kg. Buy Jasmine
4
herbal woody · THE CLEAN WOOD · the backbone
Sage and Cedarwood Fragrance Oil
The scent that makes the set read grown-up. The page describes "Herbaceous sage with warm, woody cedar undertones" and states "Recommended Fragrance Load: Up to 10% for soy wax Up to 6% for paraffin wax". Job: studies, men's gifting, corporate clients who want "clean but not fresh". It balances the three bright oils above. Limitation: no 15 g size, and at production depth its listed 1 kg (₹6,867.60) costs ₹1,699.20 more than two 500 g packs, which is why the production tier buys it as 2 × 500 g.
Size Price Per gram 150 g candles at 8%
50 gm ₹354.00 ₹7.08 4
100 gm ₹696.20 ₹6.96 8
500 gm ₹2,584.20 ₹5.17 41
1 kg ₹6,867.60 ₹6.87 83
Oil per 8% candle: ₹62.02 at the 500 g price. Buy Sage and Cedarwood
5
oud / woody · THE EVENING · the dark end
Woody Oud Fragrance Oil
Every professional set needs one scent for evenings, winter and the client who says "something richer". Woody Oud's page describes "citrus and spice top notes opening into rich oud and patchouli heart, settling into warm woody notes, amber, and musk" and states "candles (6-10%)". At ₹4.53/g from 100 g it is the most affordable oud CSI lists with a stated candle load. Job: evening, winter (roughly December to February), Diwali gifting. Limitation: patchouli and oud divide opinion; the set gives the client five other choices, which is the point of having it.
Size Price Per gram 150 g candles at 8%
15 gm ₹93.22 ₹6.21 1
50 gm ₹271.40 ₹5.43 4
100 gm ₹453.12 ₹4.53 8
500 gm ₹2,265.60 ₹4.53 41
1 kg ₹4,531.20 ₹4.53 83
Flat ₹4.53/g from 100 g to 1 kg: ₹54.37 of oil per 8% candle. Buy Woody Oud
6
citrus amber · THE SIGNATURE · the bridge
Bergamot Amber Fragrance Oil
In our judgement, the oil whose page best spans the whole set: "sparkling bergamot and citrus top notes, warm amber and soft floral heart, woody musk and smooth vanilla base". It shares citrus with the opener, a soft floral with Jasmine and musky wood with the evening oud, which makes it the candle to show a client first. The page states "6-10% for soy wax candles, cure 48-72 hours. 6-8% for paraffin wax". Limitation: the vanilla in the base can read sweet at 10%, so compare it with your 8% candle before settling on a load.
Size Price Per gram 150 g candles at 8%

Why the production kit is two launch kits

The biggest kit is not the cheapest per gram. On this collection, it is exactly the same.

It is worth understanding why, because it changes when you should buy the production tier. For five of these six oils, CSI's listed 1 kg costs the same as, or within a rupee of, two 500 g packs; for Sage and Cedarwood the 1 kg is ₹1,699.20 dearer. In three cases two 500 g packs are cheaper:

1 kg bottle vs two 500 g packs · 24 September 2026
Buying the right pack saves ₹1,701.20 on the production tier
Oil Listed 1 kg 2 × 500 g Difference Production tier buys
Lemongrass and Lime ₹5,200.00 ₹5,200.00 none 1 × 1 kg
Blue Ocean ₹4,956.00 ₹4,956.00 none 1 × 1 kg
Jasmine ₹3,923.00 ₹3,922.00 1 kg dearer by ₹1.00 2 × 500 g
Sage and Cedarwood ₹6,867.60 ₹5,168.40 1 kg dearer by ₹1,699.20 2 × 500 g
Woody Oud ₹4,531.20 ₹4,531.20 none 1 × 1 kg
Bergamot Amber ₹5,437.00 ₹5,436.00 1 kg dearer by ₹1.00 2 × 500 g
Six oils ₹30,914.80 ₹29,213.60 ₹1,701.20

Put the three tiers side by side and the pattern is clear. The sample kit averages ₹5.71 per gram (₹68.50 of oil per 8% candle). The launch kit averages ₹4.87 (₹58.43 per candle), which is 14.7% lower. The production kit averages ₹4.87 (₹58.43 per candle): no change at all. Two launch kits cost ₹29,213.60, the same as one production kit.

That makes the production tier a stock decision, not a price decision. Buy it when you will pour 80-plus candles of every scent before the oil ages on your shelf, or when you want fewer, larger reorders. If your volume is uneven, buy the launch kit twice and skew the second one towards what sold. For large orders beyond these tiers, ask on WhatsApp for a bulk quote; the full per-gram ladder for every hotel-style oil, and where larger packs genuinely save, is in Hotel-Inspired Candle Fragrance Oils Wholesale in India.

The step that does save
Sample to launch: ₹12,894.40 more buys ten times the oil and cuts the average price per gram by 14.7%. If you have passed the sample tests, this is the jump worth making; the next one is about stock, not savings.

Smaller budget: the core four, and sensible swaps

If six is too many for your first season, drop the two scents with the narrowest client use (in our judgement, Blue Ocean and Woody Oud) and keep a four-oil core that still covers bright, floral, clean wood and signature:

The core four · Bergamot Amber, Sage and Cedarwood, Lemongrass and Lime, Jasmine
Same tiers, two fewer oils
Tier Sizes Oil Total Candles at 8%
Sample 50 g each 200 g ₹1,194.00 16
Launch 500 g each 2 kg ₹9,863.20 164
Production 1 kg each (three as 2 × 500 g) 4 kg ₹19,726.40 about 330

Swaps that keep the set working

Every job in the set can be filled by another CSI oil. Swap by job, not by favourite, and check whether the replacement still ends on wood, musk or amber; where it does not (Neroli and British Rose name no woody, musky or amber base), the other oils in the set have to carry the base:

Swaps by job · cost change on 24 September 2026
Replace an oil with one that does the same job
Job In the set Swap to Why you might Cost change
Opener Lemongrass and Lime Neroli Fragrance Oil more floral, more "lobby" 50 g ₹342.20 vs ₹330.00
Air Blue Ocean Cucumber Green Tea green tea reads more hotel than sea saves ₹70.59 at 50 g, ₹814.20 at 500 g
Soft floral Jasmine British Rose Fragrance Oil a rose instead of a white floral 50 g ₹212.40 vs ₹230.00
Clean wood Sage and Cedarwood Sandalwood Fragrance Oil creamy rather than herbal saves ₹70.80 at 500 g
Evening Woody Oud White Royal Oud softer, more polished oud 500 g: +₹1,785.40
Signature Bergamot Amber Neroli Fragrance Oil only if the opener stays citrus 50 g: +₹62.20

Choosing and naming a line for your own brand, rather than a working set for clients, is a different job and is covered in Best Hotel-Inspired Fragrances for a Luxury Candle Brand.

Turning the kit into client spec sheets

Professional buyers do not buy a scent. They buy a scent they can reorder and document.

If you make candles for hotels, restaurants, offices or corporate gifting, the client will eventually ask what is in the candle and whether the next batch will match. A one-page spec sheet per scent answers both. Build it from the sample tier, before the client sees a candle.

1
Fix the recipe on paperFor each oil that passes: wax, load (as % of total weight), vessel, wick, pour temperature from the wax page and cure time. Bergamot Amber's page states a 48–72 hour cure; the other five do not state one, so record the hold you actually used (at least 48–72 hours, longer for soy is common practice; test at day 3 and day 7).
2
Record the oil exactlyWrite the exact CSI listing name, the pack size, the order date and any batch marking on the bottle label. "Jasmine" is not enough; "Jasmine Fragrance Oil, 500 g, received on this date" is.
3
Request the documentsAsk on WhatsApp for the MSDS and IFRA documentation of each oil in the kit and file them with the sheet. Quote page wording, not your own claims: "the product page describes it as IFRA-certified" is accurate; "certified safe" is not something you can say.
4
Describe the scent in the client's wordsUse the page's notes on the sheet (for example "sea salt and ozone, jasmine and lily of the valley, driftwood and musk" for Blue Ocean), plus the job it does in the set. No health or wellbeing claims.
5
Keep a reference candle and a retained sampleKeep one approved candle per scent and a small sealed sample of the bottle it came from. Every future batch for that client is checked against them before dispatch.
6
Price the sheetAdd oil cost per candle at your tier (₹47.06 to ₹65.23 across the set at the 500 g price) plus wax, vessel and wick. Update the sheet whenever you move tier or CSI prices change.
Mistake: quoting a hotel or corporate client from a sample-tier candle and then pouring the order from a new production-tier bottle without checking it. Fix: compare the new bottle to the retained sample on a paper strip, pour one check candle, and only then pour the order. What to ask a supplier about batch consistency before you rely on them is in Luxury Hotel Fragrance Oil Supplier in India.

What this collection will not do

It will not reproduce a specific hotel. CSI does not sell an oil that reproduces any hotel's scent, and no professional should promise a client one. This set builds the style: bright, clean, soft floral, woody, warm. If a client asks for "the scent of" a named property, sell them their own signature instead; it is a better product and it is theirs.

It has no linen and no leather. CSI lists no fresh linen, clean cotton or white tea oil on 24 September 2026, and leather only through one inspired listing with the 100 g and 1 kg out of stock. Blue Ocean is the nearest "clean" note in this set.

It avoids oils you cannot reorder at depth. Vetiver would make a fine evening scent, but its 1 kg is out of stock on 24 September 2026 (the 500 g is ₹2,900.00); a production tier built on it could not be completed. Mogra and Rajnigandha are fully out of stock. Perfume-grade oils such as Santal Noir state no candle load on their pages, and cost more per gram (₹9.12 at 1 kg), so we left them out of a working professional set.

It does not tell you what will sell. CSI has no sell-through data for these oils. Which scents deserve kilogram stock is a decision you make from your own orders; I'm Buying Multiple Fragrance Oils in 1 Kg Quantities — How Should I Decide Which Ones Deserve Bulk Inventory? sets out decision rules for it.

Christmas 25 December 2026: the launch tier (₹14,606.80, 3 kg, 246 candles at 8%) is the right depth for a first festive season of client orders. Order in early November to leave time to pour, cure and dispatch; confirm the dispatch date and GST invoice on WhatsApp.
WhatsApp the launch tier
The CSI principle
Buy the collection deep enough to learn, then deep enough to sell, and no deeper.
On this set, sample to launch is the step that saves money per gram. Launch to production saves nothing per gram; it only commits more stock. Let your orders, not the pack size, decide when to take it.
"Six oils, six jobs. If two oils do the same job, one of them is taking up a bottle you could spend on something else."

Why trust this guide

CandleMakingSuppliesIndia sells every oil in this collection and the wax and tools priced alongside it, and does not sell finished candles. We have written it to be useful to a professional: it shows that our largest tier is no cheaper per gram than the middle one and tells you not to buy it first.

Every price, pack size and per-gram figure was taken from CSI's live store and verified on 24 September 2026, with out-of-stock sizes flagged (Vetiver 1 kg; the leather listing's 100 g and 1 kg; Mogra; Rajnigandha) and never included in a tier. Notes, candle loads and IFRA / phthalate-free wording are quoted from each product page.

The job each oil does, the core-four choice, the swaps and the spec-sheet method are our judgement; CSI has no throw or sales data for these oils. For bulk pricing, GST invoicing, and MSDS and IFRA documentation on request, message us on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926.

Frequently asked questions

What fragrance oils should a professional candle maker stock for hotel-style candles?
Six that each do a different job: a bright opener, a fresh air note, a soft floral, a clean wood, an evening wood and a signature that bridges them. From CSI: Lemongrass and Lime, Blue Ocean, Jasmine, Sage and Cedarwood, Woody Oud and Bergamot Amber.
How much does a hotel fragrance oil collection cost in India?
For those six oils on 24 September 2026: ₹1,712.40 for 50 g of each, ₹14,606.80 for 500 g of each, and ₹29,213.60 for 1 kg of each in the cheapest packs. Oils only; wax, vessels, freight and GST are extra.
Does CSI sell a ready-made hotel fragrance oil kit?
There is no single hotel-collection product listing. You order the six oils at the sizes for your tier; send the list on WhatsApp for one consolidated order, a GST invoice and MSDS / IFRA documents on request.
Is it cheaper to buy fragrance oil in 1 kg than 500 g?
Not for this collection. The listed 1 kg is the same as two 500 g packs for three of the oils and dearer for the other three, by ₹1.00 (Jasmine), ₹1.00 (Bergamot Amber) and ₹1,699.20 (Sage and Cedarwood). The production tier buys those three as 2 × 500 g.
How many candles can I make from 500 g of fragrance oil?
41 candles of 150 g at 8% (12 g each), with 8 g left over. At 10% it is 33; at 6%, 55. A 3 kg launch kit of six oils makes 246 candles at 8%.
What should be on a candle spec sheet for a corporate client?
The exact oil listing name and pack, load as a percentage of total weight, wax, vessel, wick, pour temperature, cure time, the MSDS and IFRA documents for the oil, the scent notes in plain words and your batch-check method. No health claims.
