A business does not choose a fragrance. It chooses a listing it can reorder four quarters running, on a page complete enough to plan from — and on this catalogue that is fourteen of a hundred and seven.

Candle Business Guides · Guwahati
A business buys the same size of the same listing again and again, which is a completely different question from "does this smell good". It is answerable before you spend anything — by counting what each page publishes and which sizes you can actually buy today.
14 of 107
CSI fragrance listings publish all four fields a business plans from — a stated candle load, a specific measured flash point, a discolouration answer — and have all five sizes from 15 g to 1 kg buyable today · 81 state a load, 61 answer discolouration, 49 have the full live ladder, 18 publish a measured flash point · CSI live stock, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
How do I judge a fragrance oil supplier as a business? Count, don't read. Of CSI's 107 fragrance listings, 81 state a candle load, 61 answer the discolouration question, 49 have all five sizes buyable and 18 publish a specific measured flash point. Only 14 do all four — those are the listings a range should be built on.

How deep is the stock? 384 of 437 listed size-variants are buyable today across the 107 listings. Fifty-three sizes are sold out, 10 listings are sold out in every size, and 87 listings carry a live 1 kg.

Is there a minimum order or a business account? No published minimum order quantity and no published trade tier. The floor is simply the smallest listed size — 15 g on most listings. Bulk pricing above the listed packs is quoted on WhatsApp, and this page will not guess it.

What paperwork can I get? GST invoicing, SDS and IFRA documentation on request via WhatsApp at +91 7397976926. What you cannot get is a shelf life, a throw measurement, a stated MOQ or a delivery timeline — none of that is published, for any destination.
The short answer
Score listings, not scents: a business's risk is a page too thin to plan from or a size that disappears mid-season. Both are visible before you order, and both are countable.
Write a second-choice column now: ten listings are sold out in every size today. Every recipe in your sheet needs a named alternate, chosen and burn-tested while nothing is urgent.
Ask for the documents by name: SDS and IFRA documentation come on request, not on the page. Request them per product, before the season, and keep the replies on file.
Four filters a business applies — and how many of 107 listings survive each All fragrance listings 107 States a candle load 81 — the other 26 leave the load to you Answers discolouration 61 — a figure or a plain warning All five sizes buyable 49 — 15 g to 1 kg, in stock today Measured flash point 18 All four at once 14 Bar length = number of listings passing that filter on its own. The filters are not nested; 14 listings pass all four together.
Each bar counts listings passing that one filter, not a running total — 81 state a load, but only 18 publish a measured flash point, and the flash point is the filter that thins the field. Fourteen listings clear all four together, and those are the ones a growing business should build a repeatable range on: shortlist at 15 g, burn test at 100 g, produce at 500 g or 1 kg, without ever changing supplier or reformulating.
Straight answer
How should a candle business in Guwahati evaluate a fragrance oil supplier?
Score the listings, not the scents. A business's real risks are a page too thin to plan a recipe from and a size that vanishes in the week you need it, and both are countable before you spend a rupee. On CSI's 107 fragrance listings: 81 state a candle load, 61 answer the discolouration question — some with a figure, like Gardenia's stated 0.2% vanillin, some with a plain warning — 49 have all five sizes from 15 g to 1 kg buyable today, and 18 publish a specific measured flash point. Exactly 14 listings do all four, among them Verbena (200°C), Cinnamon (193°C), Palo Santo (93°C), Dark Vanilla (~191–193°C), British Rose (192°C) and Sandalwood (203°C). On depth: 384 of 437 listed size-variants are buyable, 53 sizes are out, 10 listings are sold out entirely, and 87 listings carry a live 1 kg from ₹2,832. On terms: GST invoicing, SDS and IFRA documentation are supplied on request via WhatsApp. On the gaps, plainly — no published minimum order, no trade tier, no sample pack, no 5 kg or 10 kg fragrance pack, no shelf life on any page, no shop or warehouse in Guwahati and no published delivery timeline for any destination. A supplier that answered every one of those positively would be writing claims, not specifications.
One line: build the range on the 14 listings that publish everything and stock every size, write a named alternate beside each one, and request the documents by product name before the season rather than during it.
Auditing a supplier before Puja and Diwali? 14 listings publish all four planning fields with every size in stock, and a four-bottle documentation audit at 15 g costs ₹448.60 — less than one rejected production batch.

Thirteen checks, and where each answer lives

The useful thing about a checklist is not the questions. It is knowing in advance which ones no supplier can answer — so a confident answer becomes a warning sign.

Five of these you settle on the product page, in minutes, without contacting anybody. Five require a message, because they depend on your quantities and your paperwork. Three cannot be answered by any supplier honestly, and if one is answered confidently you have learned something about the supplier rather than the oil.

Thirteen checks, grouped by where the answer lives
What to look for, and what CSI's pages and bulk line actually do
Check Where the answer lives What you get at CSI
1. Is a candle load stated, in a percentage? The page Yes on 81 of 107. Usually 6–10% or up to 10% for soy; one page states 13%
2. Is a specific measured flash point published? The page On 18 of 107. A further 32 carry only a "> 93°C" threshold line, which is not a measurement
3. Is the discolouration question answered? The page On 61 of 107 — sometimes a figure, sometimes a plain warning that it will brown pale wax
4. Are all five sizes actually buyable today? The page On 49 of 107. Fifty-five list all five; six of those have a size out of stock
5. Does the per-gram price fall as the pack grows? The page — do the division yourself Sometimes. On 38 of the 72 comparable listings the 1 kg costs the same per gram as the 500 g
6. Can I get a GST invoice? WhatsApp Yes, on request
7. Can I get the SDS for a named oil? WhatsApp Yes, on request — ask per product, not per range
8. Can I get IFRA documentation? WhatsApp On request. A compliance line printed on a listing is the page's own wording, not a certificate
9. What does more than 1 kg of one scent cost? WhatsApp A quote. 1 kg is the largest listed pack, so multiplying it gives you a ceiling to budget against
10. Will this exact size still be listed next quarter? WhatsApp — the best question a business can ask Ask before a season. Nothing about future stock is published, here or anywhere
11. How strong is the throw? Nobody can answer this No measured throw figure is published on any page. It depends on your wax, wick, vessel, load and cure
12. How long will the oil keep? Nobody can answer this No CSI page states a shelf life, expiry or storage specification, at any price
13. When will it arrive? Nobody publishes this No delivery timeline, courier or shipping rate is published for Guwahati or anywhere else
Counted above: across 107 fragrance-oil listings — 81 state a candle load as a percentage; 18 publish a specific measured flash point and 32 carry only the shared "Flash point > 93°C (suitable for alcohol-based products)" line; 61 answer discolouration; 55 list all five sizes and 49 have all five buyable; 87 carry a live 1 kg and 72 of those also have a buyable 500 g, of which 38 price the kilo at the same rupees per gram.
Score, then buy — in that order
Put the five page checks in a spreadsheet with one row per listing you are considering and one column per check. The listings that score five out of five are your core range; the ones scoring three are seasonal extras you accept more testing on. It takes an afternoon once, and then it is the sheet you reorder from for years. The four checks that matter most on a reorder — load, flash point, discolouration and whether all five sizes are live — are exactly the four counted in the next section.

The four planning fields, and the 14 that publish all of them

Why these four and not others? Because each one removes a specific production risk. A stated load stops you guessing at the recipe. A measured flash point gives you a real number for a process document or a customer question. A discolouration answer protects a pale-wax order. And all five sizes live means you can shortlist, test and produce on one listing without reformulating. Fourteen listings give you all four at once.

Fourteen listings publishing all four fields with every size buyable
Kilo price, measured flash point, discolouration answer, and the 15 g entry
Listing 1 kg Measured flash point Discolouration answer 15 g entry
Eucalyptus Spearmint ₹3,068 199°C Vanillin 0% — no discolouration risk ₹68.44
British Rose ₹3,068 192°C Vanillin 0% ₹94.40
Roasted Coffee ₹3,738 ~191–193°C Stated ₹93.22
Jasmine ₹3,923 185°C Vanillin 0% ₹103
Gardenia ₹4,332 98°C Vanillin 0.2% ₹105.02
Cinnamon Vanilla ₹4,554.80 270°F Stated ₹106.20
Verbena ₹4,720 200°C Vanillin 0% — no discolouration risk ₹106.20
Sandalwood ₹5,026.80 203°C Answered "No" ₹93.22
Cinnamon ₹5,310 193°C Vanillin 0% — no risk of discoloration ₹106.20
Ylang Ylang Flower ₹5,310 193°C Vanillin 0% — no discolouration risk ₹106.20
Palo Santo ₹6,018 93°C Vanillin 0% — no risk of discoloration ₹106.20
Neroli ₹6,655.20 85°C Vanillin 0% — no risk of discoloration ₹118
Dark Vanilla ₹7,646 ~191–193°C Vanillin present — will yellow white wax over time ₹130
Vanilla Bean ₹7,646 203°C Vanillin 2.5% ₹130
Counted above: these are the 14 of 107 listings that state a candle load, publish a specific measured flash point, answer the discolouration question, and have all five sizes from 15 g to 1 kg buyable in September 2026. The flash points are the page's own verbatim values; two pages give a range (~191–193°C) and two give a Fahrenheit figure. All 14 also carry a live 1 kg, from ₹3,068 to ₹7,646 — which is why none of the premium tier appears: no listing priced above ₹7,646 a kilo publishes a measured flash point at all.

Note what the fourteen have in common besides documentation: none of them is expensive. The dearest is ₹7,646 a kilo, which is inside the third quarter of CSI's price range. A business that wants a fully documented core range is not being asked to buy the top of the catalogue — it is being asked to buy the middle of it, which is where a repeatable candle belongs anyway.

The mistake: treating a blank as a failure and a figure as a promise. Both are wrong. A page stating nothing about load is not selling a worse oil; it is handing you a burn test, and 8% is a safe place to start. And Neroli's published 85°C is not a warning label — it is a handling and transport classification, the lowest specific value CSI publishes, and adding fragrance inside the 80–90°C window a soy page states remains normal candle practice. What the figure buys you is the ability to answer a question in writing, which is exactly what a business needs and a hobbyist does not.

Stock depth: 437 sizes, 384 buyable

Depth is not the number of scents. It is how many sizes you can actually buy, because a business changes size far more often than it changes scent. Here is the whole catalogue counted by buyable sizes per listing — and yes, including the ten listings you cannot buy at all today, because a supplier that hid those would be hiding your substitution problem too.

Buyable sizes per listing · CSI live stock, September 2026
How many listings sit in each band, and what each band is good for
Buyable sizes Listings What that shape lets a business do
All five — 15 g, 50 g, 100 g, 500 g, 1 kg 49 Shortlist, burn test and produce on one listing. Build the core range here
Four 11 Usually missing the 15 g. Testing starts at 50 g, so the cost of being wrong triples
Three 27 Typically 50 g, 100 g, 1 kg or 100 g, 500 g, 1 kg. Workable, but one rung is a jump
Two 4 Seasonal extras only. Never the anchor of a range
One 6 Single-size listings. Treat as a one-off purchase, not a reorder line
None — sold out in every size 10 Nothing. If one of these was in your recipe sheet, your alternate is now load-bearing
Counted above: 49 + 11 + 27 + 4 + 6 + 10 = 107 listings, carrying 437 listed size-variants of which 384 are buyable and 53 are sold out. On the listed side, 55 listings carry all five sizes, 12 carry four, 37 carry three and 3 carry a single size; the difference between 55 listed and 49 buyable is six listings with at least one size out of stock. Eighty-seven listings carry a live 1 kg; CSI lists a 1 kg on 104 and 17 of those kilos are out.

The number a business should care about most in that table is the 49. A listing with all five rungs live means the 15 g bottle you shortlist on, the 100 g you burn test on and the 1 kg you produce from are the same product — no reformulation, no second supplier, no explaining to a customer why the candle smells different this quarter. The 400-series guides cover the testing method itself; see how to compare two fragrance oils using a controlled burn test.

Every gap, named

A supplier page that lists only strengths is a sales page. Here is the other column: what is genuinely missing, what it costs a business, and what to do instead. Nothing here is hedged — if it is not published, we say it is not published.

What CSI does not publish or does not stock
The gap, what it costs you, and the workaround
The gap What it costs a business What to do instead
No 5 kg or 10 kg fragrance pack — 1 kg is the largest listed size A 20 kg season is 20 bottles to open, decant and account for Multiply the listed kilo as your ceiling, then send quantities and frequency to the bulk line for a quote
No published minimum order quantity and no trade tier Nothing, mostly — but you cannot plan around a discount schedule that does not exist Treat the listed per-gram prices as the published position and ask for a quote above 1 kg
No sample pack product You assemble a trial bench yourself, from 15 g bottles where they exist Buy four 15 g bottles of the listings you are scoring. On the four picks below that is ₹448.60
Ten listings sold out in every size; 53 sizes out in total A recipe can go unbuyable between one season and the next Write a second-choice column, and burn test the alternate while nothing is urgent
No shelf life, expiry or storage specification on any page You cannot justify stock-holding on paper Buy against demand you can see on a calendar, not against a date you are guessing
No measured throw figure, anywhere No shortcut past your own burn test Test hot throw at your own load, wick and cure, and keep the score sheet
No shop, stockist, distributor or warehouse in Guwahati No counter to walk into when a bottle runs out mid-pour Hold a reorder point in grams, not in "when it looks low"
No published delivery timeline, courier or shipping rate — for any destination You cannot promise a customer a date based on a supplier's published number Set your own buffer from your own past orders, and confirm the position when you place the order
Only 18 of 107 pages publish a measured flash point Process documents and insurer questions get stuck Request the SDS by product name on WhatsApp, and file the replies
The mistake: auditing a supplier with a production order. It is the same test at fifty times the price. Four 15 g bottles of the listings you are considering — Verbena ₹106.20, Cinnamon ₹106.20, Palo Santo ₹106.20 and Dark Vanilla ₹130 — come to ₹448.60, and they test four things at once: the oils, the packing, the response to a documentation request, and whether the sizes you were promised were actually in stock. Send the SDS request in the same week. If any part of that goes badly, you have learned it for ₹448.60 instead of for a season.

Four listings a business can plan on

All four publish every planning field and stock every size today. They are chosen for range coverage — a crisp citrus, a festive spice, a woody, and a gourmand that publishes its own downside — rather than for being the cheapest. Each card prints the full ladder with per-kilo rates and the 200 g candles at 8% each pack would scent.

1
All four fields · measured 200°C · falls at every rung
Verbena Fragrance Oil
The most complete page in the range for a business: "Up to 10% for soy wax", "Up to 6% for paraffin wax", a cure of 48–72 hours for soy wax and 24–48 hours for paraffin, a measured flashpoint of 200°C, "Vanillin Content: 0% (No discoloration risk)", stated compatibility with soy, paraffin and coconut, and a wick recommendation of cotton, Eco or wooden with instructions to test against your container. Its ladder also rewards growth genuinely: ₹7.08 a gram at 15 g, ₹6.608 at 50 g, ₹5.90 at 100 g, ₹4.956 at 500 g and ₹4.72 at the kilo — it falls at every single rung, which only a minority of the catalogue does. For a crisp citrus anchor in a pale-wax gifting range, this is the listing to build on.

2
The festive reorder line · measured 193°C
Cinnamon Fragrance Oil
The single-note spice that carries a Puja-to-Diwali range and then a winter one. The page states "Up to 10% for soy wax", "Up to 6% for paraffin wax", a cure of 48–72 hours for soy, a measured flashpoint of 193°C, "Vanillin Content: 0% (No risk of discoloration)" and compatibility with soy, paraffin and coconut — a zero-vanillin spice is genuinely useful, because most warm festive scents will tone a white wax. Commercially, note that the 100 gm and 500 gm are the same ₹5.90 a gram while the kilo is ₹5.31: a clean 10.00% step, and one of the best in the catalogue. So test at 100 g, and buy the kilo only when the scent has sold once.

3
A measured figure you can put in a document
Palo Santo Fragrance Oil
A grounding woody with an entirely flat ladder — ₹6.018 a gram at 50 g, 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg, with only the 15 g dearer at ₹7.08 — which makes it the easiest listing in this set to scale, because there is no pack decision to get wrong. The page states "Up to 10% for soy wax", "Up to 6% for paraffin wax", a cure of 48–72 hours for soy, "Vanillin Content: 0% (No risk of discoloration)", compatibility with soy, paraffin and coconut, a wick recommendation of Eco or wooden wicks, and a measured flashpoint of 93°C. That last figure is the reason it is here: it is a real measured number for a real document, not a threshold, and it is the sort of thing an insurer or a landlord asks for and a hobbyist never needs.
Size Price Per kg 200g candles @ 8%

4
The page that costs itself a sale
Dark Vanilla Fragrance Oil
Included because of one sentence. The page states "Vanillin Content Present" and goes further: vanilla and amber base notes contain vanillin and will yellow white wax over time. That is a supplier telling you not to pour it into the white wedding-favour candle you were planning — and it is worth more to a business than any adjective. Otherwise it states 6-10% for candles and 10–15% for wax melts, and publishes a measured flashpoint of ~191–193°C. Its ladder falls at every rung, from ₹8.6667 a gram at 15 g to ₹7.646 at the kilo. One CSI customer calls it simply "One of the best fragrance oils". Plan it in amber or dark glass with a warm wax colour and the published downside disappears.
Size Price Per kg 200g candles @ 8%

50 gm ₹410 ₹8,200 ≈3
100 gm ₹790 ₹7,900 ≈6
500 gm ₹3,840 ₹7,680 ≈31
1 kg ₹7,646 ₹7,646 ≈62
₹122.34 of oil per 200 g candle at 8% and 1 kg pricing Buy Dark Vanilla
Priced above: oil per 200 g candle at 8% = 1 kg price ÷ 1,000 × 16 g. Verbena ₹4.72/g → ₹75.52; Cinnamon ₹5.31/g → ₹84.96; Palo Santo ₹6.018/g → ₹96.29; Dark Vanilla ₹7.646/g → ₹122.34. Per-gram ladders: Verbena ₹106.20/15, ₹330.40/50, ₹590/100, ₹2,478/500, ₹4,720/1,000; Cinnamon ₹106.20, ₹330.40, ₹590, ₹2,950, ₹5,310; Palo Santo ₹106.20, ₹300.90, ₹601.80, ₹3,009, ₹6,018; Dark Vanilla ₹130, ₹410, ₹790, ₹3,840, ₹7,646. The four 15 g bottles total ₹448.60.
The CSI principle
A supplier's blanks are more useful to a business than its adjectives, because you can plan around a blank.
Twenty-six pages state no load. Eighty-nine publish no measured flash point. Ten listings are sold out in every size. None of that is hidden, all of it is countable, and every one of those gaps has a workaround that costs less than finding it out in a production week.
Setting up a reorder sheet? Verbena 1 kg ₹4,720, Cinnamon ₹5,310, Palo Santo ₹6,018 and Dark Vanilla ₹7,646 all publish every planning field with every size in stock. GST invoicing, SDS and IFRA documentation on request.
Ask for terms & documentation

The second-choice column

Nobody changes supplier because a scent disappointed. They change because a size was out of stock in the week they needed it.

Ten listings are sold out in every size today, and 53 individual sizes are out. That is normal for any catalogue, and it is only a crisis if your recipe sheet has one column. Here is the discipline that removes the crisis, and it costs one extra burn test per recipe.

1
Add two columns to the recipe sheet"Alternate" and "Alternate tested on". Each recipe names one specific substitute listing with a live 1 kg and, ideally, all five sizes buyable — one of the 49. A blank in either column means that recipe has no plan.
2
Choose the alternate by published fields, not by smell aloneMatch the stated load band and the discolouration answer first, because those decide whether the substitute drops into the same recipe. A 10% oil replacing a 10% oil is a swap; a 9% oil replacing a 10% oil is a reformulation.
3
Burn test the alternate in a quiet monthOne 15 g or 100 g bottle, one jar, one cure, one logged burn. Do it in the months between the Bihu bump and Durga Puja, when nothing is urgent — not in the fortnight before Diwali on 8 November 2026.
4
Set a reorder point in gramsNot "when it looks low". If one scent takes 20% of a 300-candle month at 8%, that is 960 g a month, so a kilo is roughly a month's cover and the reorder point is whatever your own delivery buffer consumes. With no local counter, the reorder point is your safety stock.
5
Ask the forward-looking question before each season"Will these five listings and these sizes be in stock through October and November?" is the most valuable message a business sends a supplier, and the only one that cannot be answered from a page. Send it on WhatsApp early, and plan on the answer rather than on hope.
Ask for documents before you need them
Request the SDS by product name and any IFRA documentation for every listing in your core range in one message, then keep the replies in one folder with the date. Add GST invoicing to the same conversation. A buyer who asks for these in the week a client asks for them is negotiating with a deadline; a buyer who already has them is answering a question.

What a national supplier means for a Guwahati business

Let us be plain about the trade. CSI has no shop, stockist, distributor or warehouse in Guwahati. It is an online supplier that ships across India and takes bulk enquiries on WhatsApp, and it publishes no delivery timeline, courier or shipping rate for Guwahati or anywhere else. So a Guwahati business gives up the ability to top up in an afternoon, and gains a catalogue of 107 fragrance listings with published loads, published flash points on 18 of them and a 15 g-to-1 kg ladder on 49 — which no counter anywhere stocks in that depth.

The trade, honestly stated
What you lose, what you gain, and the operational answer to each
What you lose What you gain The operational answer
Topping up the same afternoon Published per-gram pricing at every rung, on every listing Reorder points in grams, and one spare kilo on the two scents that repeat
Smelling before buying A 15 g bottle on most listings, from ₹68.44 Shortlist on 15 g, confirm on 100 g, produce on 500 g or 1 kg
A person behind a counter who knows your wax A bulk line that answers documentation and quantity questions Send facts — scents, kilos, frequency, invoicing needs — not "best price?"
A published delivery date to plan around Prices and stock status you can see before you commit Set your own buffer from your own past orders, and confirm when you order

The seasonal side matters as much as the logistics. Guwahati's business year runs from Bohag Bihu in spring, through a long and heavy monsoon, into Durga Puja, then Diwali on 8 November 2026, then the winter wedding season, and closes with Magh Bihu in deep winter. Only the Diwali date is fixed. The monsoon matters commercially, not just cosmetically: it sits directly before the autumn block, it is when cartons and labels are most at risk, and it is the worst possible time to discover that a 500 g size has gone out of stock. Buy the autumn's fragrance before the rains end, store it sealed and off the floor, and keep gift packaging in a closed box — the material behaviour behind that advice is set out in why candles get wet spots and how to plan fragrance inventory before the festive season.

Find a supplier's gaps in a spreadsheet, not in a production week. The spreadsheet costs an afternoon.

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies candle raw materials and does not sell finished candles. This is a page in which a supplier counts its own blanks: 26 listings with no stated load, 89 with no measured flash point, 46 with no discolouration answer, 10 sold out in every size, and no published MOQ, sample pack, shelf life, trade tier or delivery timeline. We publish it because a business that discovers those in October is a business that changes supplier in November.

Every count, price, pack size and quoted specification comes from live CSI stock and product-page text in September 2026, quoted in the page's own words and linked so current pricing takes precedence. Flash points are cited only for the 18 listings publishing a specific measured value; the shared "> 93°C" line on 32 pages is a threshold, not a measurement. Where a page carries its own compliance wording that is the page's wording — SDS and IFRA documentation are supplied on request, and no certificate, amendment or category number is claimed here.

For bulk quotes above the listed 1 kg, GST invoicing, SDS or IFRA documentation on named oils, message the bulk line on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926. We do not publish prices for quantities that are not on a product page, and we do not publish delivery timelines for Guwahati or anywhere else.

Frequently asked questions

Who is a good fragrance oil supplier for a candle business in Guwahati?
Judge one on countable things rather than adjectives. Of CSI's 107 fragrance listings, 81 state a candle load, 61 answer discolouration, 49 have all five sizes buyable and 18 publish a measured flash point — and 14 do all four. On terms, GST invoicing, SDS and IFRA documentation come on request. There is no shop or warehouse in Guwahati and no published delivery timeline for any destination, so the supplier is national, online, and best audited with a ₹448.60 order rather than a production one.
Does CSI publish a minimum order quantity or a business account?
No, to both. There is no published MOQ and no published trade tier or business account. The floor is simply the smallest listed size — 15 g on most listings, from ₹68.44 — and the listed per-gram prices apply to everybody. Above the listed packs, and 1 kg is the largest fragrance pack listed, pricing is quoted on WhatsApp against your scents, kilos and frequency. This page will not state what such a quote would be, because it is not published.
Can I get a GST invoice, an SDS and IFRA documentation?
Yes — all three on request, via WhatsApp at +91 7397976926. Ask per product, by name, because documentation is per oil rather than per range. What is on the page is what you see: only 18 of 107 listings publish a specific measured flash point, and a further 32 carry a shared "> 93°C" threshold line that is a handling classification rather than a measurement. Where a listing carries its own compliance wording, that is the listing's wording, not a certificate — ask for the document instead.
How much fragrance stock is actually available right now?
Across the 107 listings there are 437 listed size-variants, of which 384 are buyable today. Fifty-three sizes are sold out and 10 listings are sold out in every size. Forty-nine listings have all five sizes live, 11 have four, 27 have three, 4 have two and 6 have one. Eighty-seven listings carry a live 1 kg from ₹2,832. Those numbers move, which is exactly why a business keeps a named alternate against every recipe.
Can a business buy fragrance oil in 5 kg or 10 kg packs?
Not as a listed pack — 1 kg is the largest fragrance size CSI lists. A 20 kg season is 20 listed kilos, and multiplying the listed price gives you a ceiling you can budget against: ten kilos of Verbena is ₹47,200, five kilos of Cinnamon ₹26,550. For a recurring requirement, send the scents, kilos, frequency and destination to the bulk line and ask for a quote. Waxes do go larger — soy to 10 kg, and Natural Soy Pearl to 50 kg.
How far ahead should a Guwahati candle business order for the festive season?
Work backwards from the one fixed date. Diwali 2026 is 8 November, with Durga Puja ahead of it and the winter wedding season after. A 14–21 day cure is standard practice for soy containers, and many CSI oil pages state 48–72 hours in soy as their own minimum on top of the pour. Add your production days and whatever parcel buffer your own past orders justify — CSI publishes no delivery timeline — and place the fragrance order at the front of that runway, not inside it.

About this guide: Written by the CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA team. The counts describe the CSI range; the thirteen checks, the four-field score and the second-choice discipline apply to any fragrance supplier in India.

Customer reviews: The six reviews at the top of this page are genuine, published Judge.me reviews left by CSI customers on their product pages. Names, star ratings, dates and products are as recorded by Judge.me; two longer reviews are shortened with an ellipsis and otherwise unedited.

Figures verified September 2026: CSI carries 107 fragrance-oil listings holding 437 listed size-variants, of which 384 are buyable and 53 are sold out; 10 listings are sold out in every size. Buyable sizes per listing: five on 49, four on 11, three on 27, two on 4, one on 6, none on 10. Listed sizes per listing: five on 55, four on 12, three on 37, one on 3. Published fields across the 107: a candle load stated as a percentage on 81; a specific measured flash point on 18; a discolouration or vanillin answer on 61. Thirty-two listings carry only the shared "Flash point > 93°C (suitable for alcohol-based products)" threshold line, which is not counted as a measurement. Fourteen listings state a load, publish a measured flash point, answer discolouration and have all five sizes buyable: Eucalyptus Spearmint ₹3,068 (199°C), British Rose ₹3,068 (192°C), Roasted Coffee ₹3,738 (~191–193°C), Jasmine ₹3,923 (185°C), Gardenia ₹4,332 (98°C, vanillin 0.2%), Cinnamon Vanilla ₹4,554.80 (270°F), Verbena ₹4,720 (200°C), Sandalwood ₹5,026.80 (203°C), Cinnamon ₹5,310 (193°C), Ylang Ylang Flower ₹5,310 (193°C), Palo Santo ₹6,018 (93°C), Neroli ₹6,655.20 (85°C), Dark Vanilla ₹7,646 (~191–193°C, vanillin present and stated to yellow white wax), Vanilla Bean ₹7,646 (203°C, vanillin 2.5%) — all 1 kg prices. Eighty-seven listings carry a live 1 kg from ₹2,832; CSI lists a 1 kg on 104 and 17 of those are out of stock. Of the 72 live kilos that also have a buyable 500 g, 38 price the kilo at the same rupees per gram. Ladders used: Verbena 15/50/100/500/1,000 gm at ₹106.20, ₹330.40, ₹590, ₹2,478, ₹4,720; Cinnamon ₹106.20, ₹330.40, ₹590, ₹2,950, ₹5,310; Palo Santo ₹106.20, ₹300.90, ₹601.80, ₹3,009, ₹6,018; Dark Vanilla ₹130, ₹410, ₹790, ₹3,840, ₹7,646. Audit basket: four 15 gm bottles, ₹106.20 + ₹106.20 + ₹106.20 + ₹130 = ₹448.60. Per-candle figures are 1 kg price ÷ 1,000 × 16 g, a 200 g candle at 8% being 16 g of oil and 184 g of wax. Reorder arithmetic: one scent at a 20% share of 300 candles a month at 8% is 60 × 16 g = 960 g — a planning assumption, not a CSI figure. Multi-kilo ceilings: 10 × Verbena ₹4,720 = ₹47,200; 5 × Cinnamon ₹5,310 = ₹26,550. Wax packs referenced: soy waxes to 10 kg, Natural Soy Pearl to 50 kg at ₹21,240. Diwali 2026 falls on 8 November 2026; Bohag Bihu, Magh Bihu, Durga Puja and the winter wedding season are named without dates. A 14–21 day cure for soy containers is standard practice, and many oil pages state 48–72 hours in soy as their own minimum. No CSI page states a shelf life, storage specification or minimum order quantity; no sample pack exists; no delivery timeline, courier or shipping rate is published for any destination; and there is no CSI shop, stockist, distributor or warehouse in Guwahati. Prices and availability change — the linked product pages are always authoritative.
