Can you buy candle fragrance oils at manufacturer prices in India, and does CSI offer them?
Straight answer first: CSI is a supplier, not a fragrance manufacturer. We do not formulate fragrance oils, and we do not offer or claim factory or manufacturer pricing. Our prices are listed on every product page, from ₹2,832.00 to ₹24,056.00 a kilo, with larger orders quoted on WhatsApp. No discount figure is published. "Manufacturer price" usually means the price charged by the company that formulates the oil, and buying at that level normally comes with large minimum orders and the manufacturer's own terms. Many sellers also use the phrase loosely to mean "cheap" or "no middleman". Whoever you buy from, judge the price the same way. Convert it to ₹ per gram. Multiply by your grams of oil per candle (16 g in a 200 g candle at 8%). Then check what the price includes: GST invoice, freight, MSDS and IFRA documents, stock, and a size you can reorder. What "manufacturer price" usually means
It is one of the most searched phrases in fragrance buying, and one of the least defined. Before you chase it, know which of its meanings you are chasing.
Candle fragrance oils are formulated by fragrance companies, which blend aroma materials into a finished oil. Those companies usually sell in quantities and on terms that suit other businesses buying at scale. Suppliers then stock those oils and sell them in smaller packs, with documents, to candle makers. A "manufacturer price" in the strict sense is the formulating company's own price. In practice the phrase is used in at least three ways, and they are not the same thing.
How the phrase is used, and what to ask · applies to any seller

We are in the third column's world, not the first row's. CSI buys, stocks and sells candle-making raw materials, fragrance oils among them, to makers of every size. We do not formulate the oils. That is why this page does not promise you a manufacturer price, and why we would be wary of any seller who promises one without being able to show you who makes the oil and whose name is on its documents.
Argued against our own interest, plainly. The easy move for a supplier is to borrow the phrase: "manufacturer prices" converts well in search. It would not be true of us, so we do not use it. If what you need is a formulating company's price for very large volumes, a supplier is not where that price lives. If what you need is a fair price per gram, in the sizes a candle business actually uses, with an invoice and documents, a supplier may well be the better buy. Judge it on the numbers below, not on the label.
It is also worth saying what "manufacturer" does not guarantee. It does not guarantee a lower price per gram at your volume, stock when you need a reorder, small pack sizes, or documents in the form your retailer asks for. It does not guarantee the oil performs in your wax. How to judge a price
A price is only comparable once it is in the same unit as every other price. For fragrance oil that unit is the gram, and then the candle.

Get a price for a named oil and an exact weight"Fragrance oil from ₹X" is not a price. "Verbena Fragrance Oil, 1 kg, ₹4,720.00" is. If a seller will not name the oil and the weight, you cannot compare.

Convert to ₹ per gramPrice ÷ grams. If the price is per litre, ask for the weight or the oil's density, because oils differ and a litre is not a kilo. If it is per bottle, ask for the net weight of oil in the bottle.

Convert to ₹ per candle₹ per gram × grams of oil per candle. For a 200 g candle at 8%, that is × 16. Verbena at ₹4.72 a gram is ₹75.52 a candle.

Add what is not in the priceFreight to your pin code, and how GST is shown on the invoice. An ex-works price and a delivered price are not comparable until both are landed.

Check stock and reorder sizeA low price on a size you cannot reorder is a one-time price. Check that the size you will buy next month is listed and in stock.

Check the documentsMSDS and IFRA certificate for that exact oil. Retailers and gifting clients ask for them; a price without them may cost you a customer later.

Test before you switchA cheaper oil that needs a higher load to perform is not cheaper. Burn both side by side in your wax, with the same wick, before you change a proven scent.

Use a listed catalogue as a yardstick
Because every CSI pack price is public, you can check any quote against it in a minute: find the nearest profile, divide both prices by grams, and see the difference per candle. It works in both directions. If another seller is genuinely cheaper per gram, landed, with documents, for an oil that performs, that is useful to know. A thousand candles of 200 g at 8% use 16 kg of oil. If you make that many a month, a ₹500-a-kilo difference is worth ₹8,000.00 a month, and it is worth asking about. The CSI principle
Chase the rupee per candle, not the word on the label.
A price is good if it is low per gram at the size you reorder, landed at your door, with documents, for an oil that performs in your wax. "Manufacturer", "factory" and "wholesale" are only claims until you have done that arithmetic.
Saving ₹4 a candle and losing the customer. The most expensive fragrance switch is the one that saves a few rupees per candle and changes a scent your repeat buyers liked. The spread is ₹7,080.00 between the dearest route (two hundred 15 g testers) and the cheapest (three kilos). Three kilos make 187 full candles of 200 g at 8%.
