When a 1 kg pack makes sense for a Delhi maker
A 1 kg pack is the right buy when three things are true: the oil has passed a test burn in your wax and jar, you expect to sell that scent steadily, and you have a cool, dark shelf to keep it on. If any of those is missing, 100 g or 500 g is the better buy.

A worked example
Example: a Gurugram corporate-gifting company quoting for a Diwali hamper, 1000 × 160 g glass jar. At 8%, each candle takes 12.8 g of oil, so the order needs 12.80 kg. That is 13 kilograms (rounded up) — split across scents if the order is not single-scent. With Apple Cinnamon at ₹4,743.60/kg, the oil for the whole order is about ₹60,718.
A Delhi NCR example with real numbers
Corporate-gifting company in Gurugram or Noida. Diwali hampers dominate. Lock the scent, buy the whole order's oil in one batch, and build in time for sampling to the client.
Say that buyer pours 1,000 candles of 160 g. At 8% each candle takes 12.8 g of oil, so the run needs 12.80 kg — about 12.8 kg in total, split across however many scents the run carries. If it were all Sandalwood, the oil would cost about ₹64,343 at the 1 kg price.

A second Delhi NCR buyer: wedding-favour studio. November–February weddings mean repeated large votive runs. Rose and saffron profiles suit the season; keep one scent per wedding. For 500 candles of 120 g at 8%, the oil comes to 4.80 kg — with British Rose at ₹3,068.00 per kg, about ₹14,726.
What Delhi NCR changes about buying a kilogram
Delhi NCR is continental, with summer highs that routinely pass 45°C in May–June, a July–September monsoon and winter nights that fall to around 5°C in December–January. NCR is the hardest climate on this list for candles. A heavily loaded soy candle sweats in a May stockroom, and the same wax frosts and pulls from the glass in a January one. Formulate below the maximum and warm your jars in winter.

NCR spans three states, and your invoice follows the delivery address. A Noida studio and a Gurugram client are billed to different states.
NCR makers deal with a wider temperature range than almost anyone else in India. A formula that behaves in October can sweat in May and frost in January, so keep notes by month, not just by batch.
Gifting companies in Noida and Gurugram often quote before they have a final scent. Price your quote on the dearest oil you might use, then confirm the oil when the client approves the sample.
Leave headroom under the stated maximum: an 8% load that is fine in October can sweat in a 45°C storeroom in May. Karwa Chauth on 29 October and Diwali corporate gifting make October the heaviest ordering month, followed by the November–February wedding season.
