Which Fragrances Should I Choose for a 1,000-Piece Corporate Candle Order?

How much fragrance oil for 1,000 corporate candles? For 85 g tins at 8%, 6,800 g, or 7,140 g with a 5% allowance. For 200 g jars, 16,000 g (16,800 g). The tiered order here — 900 tins plus 100 jars — needs 8,106 g with allowance.
What does a 1,000-piece corporate candle order cost? In materials, ₹1,20,061.80 for 1,000 Lemongrass and Lime tins, ₹1,19,118.52 split with Mahogany Shea, and ₹1,42,516.22 tiered with 100 Santal Noir jars — before labour, packaging, freight and GST.
Can I get 7 kg of one fragrance oil? The listed store sells up to 1 kg per pack, and stock quantities are not published. Confirm on WhatsApp that the oil is available in the quantity you need before you promise a client, and ask for a quote beyond the listed packs.
Four structures for 1,000 pieces
The working format for the staff gift is the 85 g Golden Aluminium Tin (listed fill 85 g, ₹30.00 each in packs of 12): a desk-sized candle that ships well in quantity. At 8% each tin holds 6.8 g of oil and 78.2 g of wax, and with Luxury Soy Wax Chunks and an Eco Thin C1 wick the base before oil is ₹82.74. The leadership tier uses the White Matte Glass Jar at the series' 200 g working fill, base ₹186.92. Here are four ways to structure the order, all with a 5% oil allowance (a working assumption) and practical in-stock pack mixes.

"Materials total" is oil plus wax, wick and container for every piece, excluding labour, packaging, freight and GST (the full shopping list below adds wick stickers and testers). "Pour days" is illustrative only: it assumes one maker pours about 150 tins or 60 jars a day and changes scent between days, a planning figure you should replace with your own. It shows the shape of the problem: every scent or format you add is another run to set up, pour, clean down and log.
Three things stand out. Option B costs less than A only because Mahogany Shea (₹4.89 a gram) is cheaper than Lemongrass and Lime (₹5.20) at the kilo; two scents never save money on their own. Option C costs the most because 100 pieces move into a dearer jar and a premium oil — which is the point of a tiered gift. Option D is the cheapest because Citrus Lemon, the lowest per-gram oil in the catalogue at ₹2.83, takes 300 of the pieces. Cost follows the oils and formats you choose; the number of scents mostly adds work.

Stock, batches and pour days
Stock. CSI lists fragrance oils up to 1 kg per pack and does not publish stock quantities. A one-scent order in tins needs seven 1 kg packs plus a top-up of one oil. Before you quote the client, message CSI on WhatsApp with the oil and the grams and ask for confirmation, and for a quote if you want to buy beyond the listed packs. We do not publish restock dates, so if one oil cannot be confirmed at the volume you need, choose another now rather than after the client has signed. Multi-scent orders spread this risk: 3.6 kg of each of two oils is easier to source than 7 kg of one.
Batch consistency. Across 7 kg of oil and several pour days, keep a pour log recording which bottle went into which tray. If you want all bottles from one production lot, ask when you order; lot information is not something this page publishes. Mix a small amount from each new bottle into a test jar before you pour a full tray, so any difference shows up in one candle, not a hundred.
Pour days and changeovers. Each scent change means a clean jug, a fresh log entry and a label change. With one scent you pour straight through; with three, a mislabelled tray is a real possibility. If the client has asked for three scents by office, pour and pack each office's order separately, and label outer cartons by office as well as by scent.
Oils for a corporate thousand
For a whole company, the scent has to be neutral: fresh citrus-herbal or soft wood that very few people object to in a shared office. The four oils below were chosen for this order because they cover that ground across the price range and are in stock at 1 kg; we have not published throw measurements, so test each in an 85 g tin before quoting. That is ₹148.51 per piece on average: roughly ₹118.10 for each staff tin and ₹332.84 for each leadership jar at kilo rates, plus the allowance, stickers and testers. The wax, at ₹56,087.00, is the largest line; the Lemongrass and Lime oil comes next, then the tins at ₹27,000.00. Deciding with the client
Most corporate clients have not thought about scent structure; they have a head-count, a budget per head and a date. Your job is to turn those into one of the four structures, with a sample they can smell.
