CSI Wholesale · Meditation Brands
For most meditation oils, the lowest per-gram price arrives long before the kilogram. Here is the ladder for every size, the oils where bulk genuinely saves, how deep to stock each one, and when to reorder.
₹6.02
Palo Santo per gram at every size from 50 g to 1 kg · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
Is buying 1 kg of meditation fragrance oils cheaper per gram at CSI? Sometimes, and less often than you would think. Palo Santo costs ₹6.02 per gram from 50 g to 1 kg; Sandalwood is ₹5.03 from 100 g up. For those two, the kilogram buys convenience, not a lower price. Ylang Ylang Flower and Jasmine are where size genuinely pays.

Which size should a meditation brand hold? Hold core scents at the smallest size that already gets the lowest per-gram price — 100 g for Sandalwood, 50 g for Palo Santo, 500 g for Jasmine — and stock depth in multiples of it. Buy 1 kg for convenience once a scent sells steadily.

What is out of stock? On 24 September 2026, Vetiver 1 kg, Sacred Sandal Ember 100 g and 1 kg, and every size of Frankincense and Tonka. Vetiver's 500 g is in stock at ₹5.80 per gram.

When should I reorder? When the stock on your shelf falls to three weeks of sales: two for the lead time you have measured, one for safety. For a scent selling 25 candles a week at 8%, that is 900 g.
The short answer
Flat-priced: Palo Santo and Gilli Mitti from 50 g; Sandalwood and Neroli from 100 g. Beyond those sizes, a bigger bottle does not lower the price.
Real savings: Ylang Ylang saves ₹590.00 per kilogram against ten 100 g bottles (10%); Eucalyptus Spearmint ₹472.00; Jasmine ₹377.00.
Odd ones: Sage and Cedarwood's 1 kg is dearer than two 500 g by ₹1,699.20; Midnight Bakhoor Royale's 1 kg is ₹9.00 dearer than ten 100 g bottles.
Depth: core scents two reorder units deep, rotating scents one, test scents at 50 g.
Where the per-gram price stops falling Rupees per gram at each pack size, five meditation oils · CSI live pricing, 24 September 2026 rupees per gram 4 6 8 10 12 15 g 50 g 100 g 500 g 1 kg Palo Santo ₹6.02 at 1 kg · flat from 50 g Vetiver ₹5.80 at 500 g · 1 kg out of stock Ylang Ylang ₹5.31 at 1 kg · steps down Sandalwood ₹5.03 at 1 kg · flat from 100 g Jasmine ₹3.92 at 1 kg · flat from 500 g Vetiver 15 g is 12.51 per gram (off the steep end of its line). Hollow dashed dot = Vetiver 1 kg list price, out of stock on 24 September 2026. Once a line goes flat, a bigger bottle buys you more oil at the same rate, not a lower price.
Five meditation oils, one line each, showing rupees per gram at every listed size. Palo Santo reaches its lowest price at 50 g and Sandalwood at 100 g; of these five, only Ylang Ylang keeps getting cheaper all the way to 1 kg. The chart is the whole argument of this guide: find the size where your oil's line goes flat, and stock depth in multiples of that size.
Straight answer
I run a meditation candle brand. How should I buy fragrance oils wholesale from CSI — which sizes, how deep, and when to reorder?
Buy each oil at the smallest size that reaches its lowest per-gram price, and build depth in multiples of that size. On 24 September 2026 that means Palo Santo from 50 g (₹6.02/g at every size from 50 g to 1 kg), Sandalwood from 100 g (₹5.03/g), Jasmine from 500 g (₹3.92/g), and Ylang Ylang at 1 kg (₹5.31/g, ₹590.00 cheaper than ten 100 g bottles). Vetiver's 1 kg is out of stock, so its working size is 500 g (₹5.80/g). Keep core scents two reorder units deep, rotating scents one, and new scents at 50 g until they sell. Reorder when stock reaches three weeks of sales. For volume beyond the listed sizes, ask us on WhatsApp for a bulk quote with a GST invoice rather than assuming the 1 kg list price is the floor.
One line: the per-gram line goes flat before the bottle gets big — buy at the flat point, stock in multiples, reorder at three weeks.
Palo Santo is at its lowest per-gram price in the 50 g bottle. ₹300.90 for 50 g, ₹6.02 per gram — the same rate as the 1 kg at ₹6,018.00. Stock it in 50 g or 100 g units until you know your weekly use.
Buy Palo Santo 50 g — ₹300.90

The per-gram ladder for the meditation palette

Wholesale is not a size. It is the point on the ladder where the price stops moving.

A meditation candle brand usually works from a narrow palette: sandalwood, palo santo, vetiver, lavender, a soft white floral, a sage or green note, and sometimes an incense or resin. What that palette is, and why, is set out in the hub, Fragrance Oils for Meditation Candles. This page is about buying it repeatedly. Here is every listed size, per gram, for the oils a meditation brand is most likely to hold.

Per gram at every size · CSI live pricing, 24 September 2026
Meditation-palette oils, 15 g to 1 kg
Oil 15 g 50 g 100 g 500 g 1 kg Shape
Sandalwood ₹6.21 ₹5.43 ₹5.03 ₹5.03 ₹5.03 Flat from 100 g
Palo Santo ₹7.08 ₹6.02 ₹6.02 ₹6.02 ₹6.02 Flat from 50 g
Vetiver ₹12.51 ₹7.08 ₹6.00 ₹5.80 ₹5.66 (out of stock) 1 kg out of stock
Lavender ₹7.00 ₹5.40 ₹5.40 ₹5.24 ₹5.22 Near-flat
Jasmine ₹6.87 ₹4.60 ₹4.30 ₹3.92 ₹3.92 Flat from 500 g
Ylang Ylang Flower ₹7.08 ₹6.61 ₹5.90 ₹5.43 ₹5.31 Steps down
Sage and Cedarwood not listed ₹7.08 ₹6.96 ₹5.17 ₹6.87 500 g cheapest
Cucumber Green Tea ₹6.21 ₹3.53 ₹3.53 ₹3.33 ₹3.33 Flat from 500 g
Neroli ₹7.87 ₹6.84 ₹6.66 ₹6.66 ₹6.66 Flat from 100 g
Gilli Mitti (Patchouli) ₹9.33 ₹8.96 ₹8.96 ₹8.96 ₹8.96 Flat from 50 g
Eucalyptus Spearmint ₹4.56 ₹4.25 ₹3.54 ₹3.30 ₹3.07 Steps down
Midnight Bakhoor Royale not listed not listed ₹7.99 ₹8.00 ₹8.00 100 g cheapest

Note what is not in the table as a buyable line: Sacred Sandal Ember is in stock only at 500 g (₹3,999.00, ₹8.00/g) on 24 September 2026, with the 100 g and 1 kg out of stock; Frankincense and Tonka is out of stock entirely. Sultan's Smoke is priced like Midnight Bakhoor Royale (₹799.00 for 100 g, ₹3,999.00 for 500 g, ₹7,999.00 for 1 kg). None of those four resin and incense listings states a candle load on its page, which matters as much as price for a brand that has to repeat a formula.

Mistake: reading the 15 g as a cheap way in. Fix: it is the dearest way in. Vetiver's 15 g is ₹12.51 per gram, 77% more than its 50 g; Palo Santo's 15 g is 18% dearer per gram than its 50 g. A 15 g bottle makes one 150 g candle at 8% — it tells you whether you like the smell and nothing about the price you will pay in production.

Four price shapes, and what each means for your order

Once you plot the ladder, every oil falls into one of four shapes. Knowing the shape tells you the right order size without any further maths.

Shape 1 — flat early (Palo Santo, Gilli Mitti, Sandalwood, Neroli)

The price per gram reaches its floor at 50 g or 100 g and stays there. Ten 100 g bottles of Sandalwood cost ₹5,026.80; one 1 kg costs ₹5,026.80 — a saving of ₹0.00. Palo Santo: ₹6,018.00 against ₹6,018.00, saving ₹0.00. For these oils the 1 kg is a packaging choice. Buy it if fewer, larger bottles suit your workshop; do not buy it to save money, because it saves none.

Shape 2 — steps down all the way (Ylang Ylang, Eucalyptus Spearmint)

Every size is cheaper per gram than the one before. Ylang Ylang: ten 100 g bottles ₹5,900.00, one 1 kg ₹5,310.00, saving ₹590.00 (10%). Eucalyptus Spearmint: ₹3,540.00 against ₹3,068.00, saving ₹472.00 (13%). These are the oils where a kilogram is a genuine wholesale buy — once you know you will use it.

Shape 3 — flat from 500 g (Jasmine, Cucumber Green Tea, Lavender nearly)

The price drops to 500 g and then stops. Jasmine's 500 g and 1 kg are both ₹3.92/g; ten 100 g bottles cost ₹4,300.00 against ₹3,923.00 for 1 kg, a 8.8% saving that the 500 g already captures. Lavender is almost flat everywhere: the kilogram saves ₹179.00 (3.3%) over ten 100 g bottles. For these, 500 g is the natural wholesale unit.

Shape 4 — inverted or broken (Sage and Cedarwood, Midnight Bakhoor Royale, Vetiver)

Sage and Cedarwood's cheapest size is 500 g (₹5.17/g); its 1 kg (₹6.87/g) is dearer, so two 500 g packs (₹5,168.40) cost ₹1,699.20 less than one kilogram. Midnight Bakhoor Royale's 100 g (₹7.99/g) is fractionally cheaper per gram than its 500 g and 1 kg (₹8.00/g). Vetiver steps down to 500 g but its 1 kg is out of stock, so two 500 g packs (₹5,800.00) are the cheapest in-stock way to hold a kilogram — ₹136.00 more than the 1 kg list price when it returns. These are stated facts from the store on 24 September 2026; we do not speculate on why. Ask on WhatsApp before ordering any of them at 1 kg.

What a kilogram costs, bought three ways
Ten 100 g bottles vs the best in-stock route to 1 kg
Oil Ten × 100 g Best route to 1 kg Saving vs ten 100 g
Ylang Ylang Flower ₹5,900.00 1 kg ₹5,310.00 ₹590.00
Eucalyptus Spearmint ₹3,540.00 1 kg ₹3,068.00 ₹472.00
Jasmine ₹4,300.00 1 kg ₹3,923.00 (500 g same per gram) ₹377.00
Sage and Cedarwood ₹6,962.00 2 × 500 g ₹5,168.40 ₹1,793.60
Cucumber Green Tea ₹3,528.20 1 kg ₹3,327.60 ₹200.60
Lavender ₹5,400.00 1 kg ₹5,221.00 ₹179.00
Vetiver ₹6,000.00 2 × 500 g ₹5,800.00 (1 kg out of stock) ₹200.00
Sandalwood ₹5,026.80 1 kg ₹5,026.80 ₹0.00
Palo Santo ₹6,018.00 1 kg ₹6,018.00 ₹0.00
Neroli ₹6,655.20 1 kg ₹6,655.20 ₹0.00
Gilli Mitti (Patchouli) ₹8,960.00 1 kg ₹8,960.00 ₹0.00
Midnight Bakhoor Royale ₹7,990.00 1 kg ₹7,999.00 ₹9.00 dearer
Argued against our own interest: for nine of the twelve oils in that table, buying a kilogram saves you less than a single 100 g bottle costs — for four it saves nothing at all, and for one it costs more. We would sell more kilograms if we let you assume otherwise. Buy 1 kg where the table shows a real saving, or where one big bottle genuinely suits your workflow.

The five oils to hold deepest

A meditation brand's depth should sit in the woods and resins its customers come back for.

Ranked on the evidence we can show: stated candle load, stock at the wholesale sizes on 24 September 2026, where the price goes flat, and each oil's role in a meditation palette. We have no throw data and no sales data to rank on; which of these to launch as a line is covered in Best Fragrances for Building a Meditation Candle Collection.

1
woody · core depth
Sandalwood Fragrance Oil
The anchor of a meditation line. The page describes "warm, creamy, luxurious single-note sandalwood fragrance oil with a smooth woody aroma and subtle earthy undertone" and states "Recommended load up to 10% for soy, up to 6% for paraffin". Wholesale fact: it reaches ₹5.03 per gram at 100 g and stays there, so the 100 g is already a wholesale buy — ₹60.32 of oil per 150 g candle at 8%. Limitation: because it is flat-priced, a bulk quote on WhatsApp is the only way to a lower rate than the list.
Size Price Per gram 150 g candles at 8%
15 gm ₹93.22 ₹6.21 1
50 gm ₹271.40 ₹5.43 4
100 gm ₹502.68 ₹5.03 8
500 gm ₹2,513.40 ₹5.03 41
1 kg ₹5,026.80 ₹5.03 83
Ten 100 g bottles and one 1 kg cost the same: ₹5,026.80. Buy Sandalwood
2
woody resinous · core depth
Palo Santo Fragrance Oil
Palo santo is the resinous note of the palette. The page describes "Earthy palo santo with soft citrus, warm amber, and a touch of incense" and states "Recommended Fragrance Load: Up to 10% for soy wax Up to 6% for paraffin wax". It is flat at ₹6.02 per gram from 50 g to 1 kg: ₹72.22 per 8% candle whichever size you buy. That makes it the easiest oil to stock lean — hold 100 g units and top up weekly if cash is tight. Limitation: citrus and incense sit on top, so it reads brighter than sandalwood; do not use it as your only wood.
Size Price Per gram 150 g candles at 8%
15 gm ₹106.20 ₹7.08 1
50 gm ₹300.90 ₹6.02 4
100 gm ₹601.80 ₹6.02 8
500 gm ₹3,009.00 ₹6.02 41
1 kg ₹6,018.00 ₹6.02 83
Same ₹6.02/g at 50 g, 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg. Buy Palo Santo
3
woody earthy · rotating, 500 g units
Vetiver Fragrance Oil
The darker, smokier wood for the evening end of a meditation line. The page describes "smoky, woody, and grounding with subtle green and sweet undertones", states "Up to 10% for soy wax candles ... Up to 6% for paraffin wax candles" and calls it "a deeply earthy, IFRA-certified vetiver fragrance oil" (the page's wording). Wholesale fact: its 1 kg is out of stock on 24 September 2026, so 500 g (₹5.80/g, ₹69.60 per 8% candle) is the working unit. Limitation: "smoky" divides customers; keep it rotating rather than core until it proves itself.
Size Price Per gram 150 g candles at 8%
15 gm ₹187.62 ₹12.51 1
50 gm ₹354.00 ₹7.08 4
100 gm ₹600.00 ₹6.00 8
500 gm ₹2,900.00 ₹5.80 41
1 kg ₹5,664.00 — Out of stock on 24 September 2026 ₹5.66 Out of stock
100 g → 500 g saves ₹2.40 per candle; 1 kg unavailable. Buy Vetiver
4
white floral · rotating, 500 g units
Jasmine Fragrance Oil
A soft floral to carry for contrast with the woods. The page describes "sweet, floral, and slightly musky with a timeless luxurious aroma" and states "Recommended load up to 10% soy, up to 6% paraffin". Wholesale fact: 500 g and 1 kg are both ₹3.92 per gram — the cheapest per gram of the five — so ₹47.06 per 8% candle at 500 g against ₹51.60 at 100 g. Limitation: "sweet" is on the label; compare 6% and 8% carefully so it stays soft rather than heady.
Size Price Per gram 150 g candles at 8%
15 gm ₹103.00 ₹6.87 1
50 gm ₹230.00 ₹4.60 4
100 gm ₹430.00 ₹4.30 8
500 gm ₹1,961.00 ₹3.92 41
1 kg ₹3,923.00 ₹3.92 83
The 500 g already gets the 1 kg price: ₹1,961.00. Buy Jasmine
5
white floral · the kilogram that pays
Ylang Ylang Flower Fragrance Oil
Creamy and rich — the heavier floral for an evening or "puja room" style candle. The page describes "Sweet, rich, and floral with creamy undertones" and states "Recommended Fragrance Load: Up to 10% for soy wax Up to 6% for paraffin wax". Of the five, it is the one oil where every step up in size is cheaper: ₹63.72 per 8% candle at 1 kg against ₹70.80 at 100 g. Limitation: ylang ylang is strong in character; in our judgement it often works better as a blending accent with sandalwood than as a solo candle, which would slow its sell-through — do not buy the kilogram until you know which way you will use it.
Size Price Per gram 150 g candles at 8%
15 gm ₹106.20 ₹7.08 1
50 gm ₹330.40 ₹6.61 4
100 gm ₹590.00 ₹5.90 8
500 gm ₹2,714.00 ₹5.43 41
1 kg ₹5,310.00 ₹5.31 83
1 kg saves ₹590.00 against ten 100 g bottles. Buy Ylang Ylang Flower

The five at a glance: 50 g of each is ₹1,486.70, 100 g of each ₹2,724.48, 500 g of each ₹13,097.40. Lavender is not on this list only because its price is almost flat at every size and it is covered in depth, alongside sandalwood and florals, in Lavender, Sandalwood and Floral Fragrance Oils for Relaxing Candles.

SKU depth: core, rotating and test

Depth is how many units of each oil you hold, and it should follow sell-through, not enthusiasm. In our judgement, a simple three-tier structure suits a meditation brand selling 30 to 100 candles a week.

Three depth tiers · worked example, not a forecast
How much of each oil to hold
Tier Which oils (example) Unit Depth Inventory value
Core Sandalwood, Palo Santo 1 kg (or 100 g multiples — same per gram) Two units: one open, one sealed ₹22,089.60
Rotating Vetiver, Jasmine, Ylang Ylang Flower 500 g One unit; reorder when opened ₹7,575.00
Test e.g. Gilli Mitti, Eucalyptus Spearmint, Lavender, Sage and Cedarwood, Neroli 50 g One unit until a scent sells ₹1,626.60
Total ₹31,291.20

Worked example, not a forecast: a core scent selling 25 candles a week at 8% uses 300 g of oil a week, so a 1 kg bottle lasts about 3.3 weeks. A rotating scent selling 8 candles a week uses 96 g, and a 500 g bottle lasts about 5.2 weeks. That is why the rotating tier sits in 500 g units: a kilogram would sit open for months.

Storage, generically
Keep bottles tightly closed, upright, out of direct sun and away from heat, and note the date you opened each one. CSI product pages do not state a shelf life for these oils, so we will not give you one; if you need a figure for a retailer, ask on WhatsApp. Opened-and-part-used kilograms are the main argument for smaller wholesale units on slow scents.
Mistake: holding every scent at the same depth. Fix: depth should be lopsided. In our judgement, two or three woods are likely to do most of the selling in a meditation line; put your cash there, and keep florals and experimental resins in 500 g or 50 g units until the numbers say otherwise.

Reorder points, step by step

Running out of your sandalwood in the week before Diwali costs more than any per-gram saving on this page.

A reorder point is the stock level at which you place the next order, set so that the new oil arrives before the old runs out. It needs three numbers you own: weekly use, lead time and a safety margin. We cannot give you a lead time — it depends on your city and courier — so measure your own, or ask us for the current dispatch time on WhatsApp.

1
Count weekly use in grams, per oilCandles sold per week × grams of oil per candle. At 8% in a 150 g candle that is 12 g each. Use the last four weeks, not your best week.
2
Measure lead time honestlyFrom the day you order to the day oil is on your bench, plus the days to pour and cure before you can sell. As a worked example we use two weeks; use your own figure.
3
Add one week of safetyCouriers slip, festivals spike demand. One week of use is a sensible cushion for core scents; rotating scents can run leaner.
4
Set the reorder pointWeekly use × (lead-time weeks + safety weeks). For the 25-candle core scent: 300 g × 3 = 900 g. When the open bottle plus sealed stock falls to 900 g, order.
5
Order in the unit where the price is flatSandalwood in 100 g multiples or 1 kg, Palo Santo in any size from 50 g, Jasmine in 500 g, Ylang Ylang in 1 kg, Vetiver and Sage and Cedarwood in 500 g. Never pay a premium for a size the ladder says is dearer.
6
Review monthlyIf an oil has not reached its reorder point in eight weeks, move it down a tier. If it hits the point twice in a month, move it up.
The two-bottle rule
For core scents, the simplest reorder system is physical: keep two sealed units. When you open the second-to-last, order. It is cruder than a calculated reorder point and in our judgement works well enough for a small brand.

Batch planning for a whole production run — kilograms of wax, jar counts, corporate gifting orders — is the next step up and is covered in Bulk Wellness Fragrance Oils for Candle Manufacturers. Stock gaps and how to buy around them

A wholesale buyer needs to know what cannot be bought as much as what can. On 24 September 2026:

Stock facts for the meditation palette · 24 September 2026
What is missing, and the nearest in-stock route
Listing Status Buy around it
Vetiver 1 kg Out of stock (15 g–500 g in stock) Two 500 g packs, ₹5,800.00
Sacred Sandal Ember 100 g and 1 kg Out of stock; 500 g in stock 500 g (₹3,999.00) only if already tested; page states no candle load
Frankincense and Tonka Out of stock No direct substitute; Palo Santo carries "a touch of incense"
Midnight Bakhoor Royale, Sultan’s Smoke In stock from 100 g Resin and incense character; pages state no candle load, so test from 6% within the wax ceiling
Honest gap: CSI does not list a frankincense-only, myrrh or copal oil, and the frankincense blend it does list is out of stock. If resin is central to your brand, ask on WhatsApp what is coming before you design a line around it.
Diwali 8 November 2026 is 45 days from these prices. If sandalwood and palo santo are your core, set your reorder point now and lock stock by mid-October. Ask us on WhatsApp for a quote on 1 kg of each with GST invoice and a dispatch date.

The CSI principle
Buy at the flat point, stock in multiples, reorder at three weeks.
For most meditation oils the lowest per-gram price arrives long before the kilogram. Depth should follow sell-through; the reorder point should follow your own lead time.
"A wholesale buyer's first question should not be 'how big a bottle?' but 'where does the price stop falling?'"

Why trust this guide

CandleMakingSuppliesIndia sells every oil and size on this page. We have set out exactly where our larger bottles save you nothing, where a kilogram costs more than smaller packs, and which listings are out of stock — because a wholesale customer who discovers those facts later does not come back.

Every price and per-gram figure was taken from CSI's live store and verified on 24 September 2026. Out-of-stock sizes are flagged and never presented as buyable. Notes, candle loads and IFRA wording are quoted from each product page; where a page states no candle load, we say so.

The depth tiers, the reorder method, the two-week lead time and the 25- and 8-candle weekly sales are worked examples, not forecasts or promises; CSI has no sales or throw data for your brand. For bulk pricing beyond the listed sizes, GST invoicing, and MSDS and IFRA documentation on request, message us on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926.

Which meditation fragrance oils are cheapest in bulk?
Per gram at their best in-stock size: Eucalyptus Spearmint ₹3.07 (1 kg), Cucumber Green Tea ₹3.33 (500 g and 1 kg), Jasmine ₹3.92 (500 g and 1 kg), Sandalwood ₹5.03 (100 g up), Sage and Cedarwood ₹5.17 (500 g).
How many fragrance oils should a small meditation candle brand stock?
In our judgement, a small brand does well with two or three core scents held two units deep, two or three rotating scents at 500 g, and a small test shelf at 50 g. Depth should follow sell-through: move oils up or down a tier each month.
How do I calculate a reorder point for candle fragrance oil?
Weekly grams used × (lead-time weeks + safety weeks). A scent selling 25 candles of 150 g at 8% uses 300 g a week; with a two-week lead time and one week of safety, reorder at 900 g. Use your own measured lead time.
Is vetiver fragrance oil 1 kg available?
Not on 24 September 2026 — the 1 kg is out of stock. The 15 g, 50 g, 100 g and 500 g are in stock; two 500 g packs cost ₹5,800.00. Ask on WhatsApp for the restock date.
