How to run the test so the first order is not wasted

Pour every oil at the same loadUse 8% of the candle weight — 16 g of oil in a 200 g candle — so you compare the oils, not the recipe.

Use the wax you will sell inLuxury Soy Wax CSI 464 (flakes) is ₹507.40 per kg, stated up to 10% fragrance load, melt and pour at 80–90°C. Testing in a different wax tells you little.

Cure before judgingLeave soy candles to cure before the first burn so the throw has settled. Judge cold throw on day one, hot throw after the cure.

Burn in a closed roomBurn for a couple of hours in a normal-sized room with the door shut, then walk in from outside. That is how a customer will meet it.

Write it downOil, load, wax, wick, pour temperature, cure days, throw score. The notes are what turn a 50 g test into a 1 kg decision.
