What the table says
Most of the set can be ordered at 1 kg online. 16 of 20 oils have a 1 kg in stock priced within ₹1.00 of two 500 g packs or below them (Bergamot Amber, White Royal Oud and Jasmine are the three where two 500 g packs are ₹1.00 cheaper; Orange no.3 lists no 500 g, and its 1 kg matches its 100 g per gram). For these, the online store is fine for a single-oil top-up.
Two need a second look. Saffron Cedarwood and Sage and Cedarwood list the same prices: 500 g ₹2,584.20 and 1 kg ₹6,867.60. Two 500 g packs (₹5,168.40) cost ₹1,699.20 less than the 1 kg, which is 33% dearer per gram. Order two 500 g packs, or ask us on WhatsApp before ordering the 1 kg.
Two cannot be bought at 1 kg today. Vetiver's 1 kg is out of stock (the 500 g is in stock at ₹2,900.00). Grapefruit Oleo's 1 kg and 50 g are out of stock, with only the 100 g (₹341.00) available, so it is not a bulk oil on this date.

The straightforward case. Stated notes: "Top Notes: Crisp cucumber, fresh green tea leaves | Heart Notes: Delicate jasmine, hints of lemon | Base Notes: Clean musk, light woods". The page says "we recommend using 8-10% fragrance oil per pound of wax" (loose wording; we apply loads on a total-weight basis). Every size is in stock, the 1 kg is the cheapest per gram at ₹3.33, and two 500 g packs cost exactly the same (₹3,327.60). Add it to the cart. Limitation: its light-woods base leans spa as much as hotel; it is a fresh supporting scent, not a whole range.

White Royal Oud
A premium evening oil with a layered page description: "bergamot and saffron top notes, white royal oud, rose petals, and labdanum middle notes, and creamy sandalwood, ambergris, and soft musk base", with "Recommended fragrance load 6-10% for candles"; the page calls it "IFRA-certified" (its wording). All sizes are in stock. But from 100 g upward it is flat at ₹8.10/g: ten 100 g bottles (₹8,100.00) cost almost exactly what the 1 kg costs (₹8,103.00). Buying the 1 kg saves you handling, not money. The case where the size you want is not there. The page describes "smoky, woody, and grounding with subtle green and sweet undertones", states "Up to 10% for soy wax candles ... Up to 6% for paraffin wax candles", and calls it "IFRA-certified" (its wording). Its 1 kg is out of stock on 24 September 2026. The 500 g is in stock at ₹2,900.00, so a kilogram today means two 500 g packs (₹5,800.00), which is ₹136.00 more than the listed 1 kg price would be. If you need several kilograms, ask on WhatsApp when the 1 kg returns before building a production plan on it. Limitation: its 15 g is ₹12.51/g, the dearest small size in the set.

The case where the listing name matters. The name above is CSI's product listing name; the oil is CSI's interpretation, CSI is not affiliated with the brand, and the brand name must not appear on your labels, invoices to your customers or marketplace listings. Notes: "Opens with fresh lavender and crisp bergamot. Heart of mahogany wood and geranium. Base of teakwood, cedarwood, and musk." The page states "Extremely strong hot throw in soy wax at 7-9%" (page wording; CSI has no throw measurements), so treat 9% as this oil's ceiling. It is flat at ₹8.80/g at every size, so bulk buys no discount; at ₹105.60 of oil per candle it costs ₹51.23 more per candle than Woody Oud at 1 kg. For multi-kilogram orders, ask on WhatsApp.

A worked 4 kg order, three ways
Worked example: a maker wants 1 kg each of Cucumber Green Tea, White Royal Oud, Saffron Cedarwood and Vetiver for a hotel-style winter range: 4 kg, about 333 candles of 150 g at 8%. Here is the same order placed three ways on 24 September 2026.

The checked order costs ₹22,399.00, ₹1,699.20 less than the draft, entirely from buying Saffron Cedarwood as two 500 g packs. White Royal Oud could be trimmed by a further ₹1.00 as two 500 g packs, or ₹3.00 as ten 100 g bottles; we treat a few rupees as a wash and keep the single bottle. Buying everything in 100 g bottles would cost ₹2,191.20 more than the checked order. The checked order averages ₹5.60 per gram, or ₹67.20 of oil per 8% candle, before wax, jar, wick, labour, freight, packaging and GST. Because it mixes four oils, is several kilograms and needs documents, it should go on WhatsApp as one list rather than through the cart.
Mistake: ordering the 1 kg of every oil because "1 kg is the bulk size". Fix: run the three questions per oil. On this order the difference is ₹1,699.20; across a year of reorders, the same habit on Sage and Cedarwood and Saffron Cedarwood adds up.
What this page cannot tell you
Delivery times and charges. They depend on your location and the order, and CSI's product pages do not state them for bulk orders, so we will not guess. Some customers have said in published reviews that delivery charges are high or that delivery could be quicker (two such reviews are shown at the top of this guide, alongside ones that praise packing and speed). Ask for the delivery charge and dispatch date before paying.

Is 1 kg fragrance oil always cheaper than 500 g?
No. On 24 September 2026, Saffron Cedarwood and Sage and Cedarwood cost ₹1,699.20 more as a 1 kg than as two 500 g packs, and several hotel-style oils, including White Royal Oud and Woody Oud, are flat per gram from 100 g. Compare before ordering.
What if the 1 kg size is out of stock?
