Where can I buy premium masculine fragrance oils for candles in India? From CSI's own store, through two collections: Fragrance Oils (candle-grade and some perfume-grade oils, 15 g to 1 kg) and Fine Perfume Fragrances (perfume-grade oils, mostly from 100 g). Bulk quantities, GST invoices and MSDS and IFRA documents go through WhatsApp on +91 7397976926.Which sizes are the premium oils sold in? It depends on the listing. Fine-perfume oils such as Tobacco Vanilla and Ban Magnet start at 100 g. Most brand-inspired perfume listings come in 50 g, 100 g and 1 kg, with no 15 g or 500 g. Santal Noir and White Royal Oud are the premium oils here sold at every size from 15 g to 1 kg.
Do premium perfume-grade oils state a candle load? Mostly not. Of the sixteen premium masculine listings mapped on this page, only White Royal Oud states one (6–10% for candles). Where a page quotes 15–25%, those are perfume rates, not candle loads. The lower of your wax's stated ceiling and any oil ceiling governs.

Buy test sizes directly on the CSI store and everything else through WhatsApp. Candle-grade and brand-inspired oils sit in the Fragrance Oils collection; the perfume-grade ouds, tobacco and fougère oils sit in Fine Perfume Fragrances. Expect fine-perfume oils to start at 100 g and most inspired listings to come in 50 g, 100 g and 1 kg only; check the size is in stock on the day, because several are not. Almost none of these pages states a candle load, so work inside your wax's stated ceiling (Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 up to 10%) and test from 6%. Search tip on the store
Several premium listings have long names ("Royal Oud Fragrance Oil – The Epitome of Refined Luxury", "Amber Oud Royal – Opulence, Redefined"). Search the store for the first two words, or browse Fine Perfume Fragrances, rather than scrolling the full fragrance list.
What CSI cannot sell you, argued against our own interest: an oil that reproduces a particular perfume. Some of our listings carry brand names because that is the style they interpret; the oils are CSI's interpretations and CSI is not affiliated with those brands. If a buyer wants "exactly" a named perfume in a candle, no supplier's listing name makes that true, and the brand name must not go on your label. Premium, on this page, means the accord and the grade of oil, not a borrowed name.
Which sizes each premium oil comes in
The grid above is the summary; this section is what it means for your order. The patterns are consistent enough to plan around, and the exceptions are where orders go wrong. Pattern 1: fine-perfume listings start at 100 g
Tobacco Vanilla, Ban Magnet, the Sauvage Elixir listing, Amber Oud Royal, Lavender Oud and the bakhoor oils are sold from 100 g. A 100 g bottle makes eight 150 g candles at 8%; a three-load test (6%, 8%, 10%) uses 36 g, which at Tobacco Vanilla's 100 g price is ₹287.64 of oil, leaving 64 g (₹511.36 worth) for a second round or a small first batch. That is a reasonable test size for a premium oil, not a waste.
Pattern 2: most inspired listings skip 15 g and 500 g
Most brand-inspired masculine listings come in 50 g, 100 g and 1 kg only, and those are priced flat per gram across the three sizes (the Hawas Ice listing is ₹9.08 per gram at all three). There is no bulk saving and no middle size, so move from 100 g straight to 1 kg only when a candle has sold through.

A composed sandalwood rather than a single note: "Top Notes: Soft Spice, Subtle Green Accord | Heart Notes: Creamy Sandalwood, Light Cedar | Base Notes: Warm Amber, Musk, Dry Woods". The page suggests it is "Best worn as EDP (20–25%)", a perfume use, and states no candle load, so test from 6% inside your wax ceiling. With White Royal Oud, it is one of two premium masculine oils here you can buy at every size from 15 g to 1 kg, which makes it easy to trial. Limitation: at ₹9.98 per gram at 50 g it is nearly twice the price of CSI's candle-grade Sandalwood; buy it for the structure, not for "more sandalwood".

Tobacco Vanilla Fragrance Oil – Bold, Warm & Addictively Smooth
The perfume-grade tobacco: "Top notes of tobacco leaf, clove, and cinnamon. Heart of vanilla bean, tonka, and cocoa. Base of dried fruits, amber, and woody musk". A dark, spiced amber-wood: "Opens with bergamot, black pepper, and cardamom. Heart of smoked rose, jasmine, incense, and patchouli. Base of amber, tonka bean, vetiver, and dark musk". A document request that gets answered quickly
Name the exact oil and size, say what the document is for (your own records, a retailer, a corporate client), and ask for the GST invoice at the same time. A single WhatsApp message listing every oil in your order is easier to answer than five separate ones. Keep the documents with your batch records, filed by the oil and the date of purchase.
Mistake: printing "IFRA certified" on your own candle label because the oil page says it. Fix: the page wording describes the fragrance oil, not your finished candle, and it is the page's claim, not a document you hold. Ask for the documentation, keep it on file, and take your own advice on what your label may say. Never use a perfume brand name anywhere on it.
Before you pay: a seven-step buying check

Pick the route by quantityUp to a few hundred grams per oil: order on the store. A kilogram or more of any oil, or anything needing an invoice or documents: start on WhatsApp.

Check the size is in stock todaySeveral premium sizes are out of stock on 24 September 2026. Look at the size selector, not just the product: a listing can be live while the size you need is not.

Read the load line, and the usage linesIf the page states a candle load, note it. If it quotes 15–25% for extrait, EDP or solid perfume, that is not a candle load. If it states nothing, your wax sets the ceiling: Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 up to 10%, Premium Coconut Soy Wax CSI 468 and Luxury Soy Wax Chunks up to 13%. These are formulation limits, not regulatory ones.

Premium without perfume-grade
The most premium-smelling candle is not always made with the most expensive oil.
We sell the perfume-grade oils on this page and think they are worth it for some ranges. But premium, for a candle, is also about a stated candle load, reliable stock and a price that leaves room for a good jar. Several candle-grade CSI oils have premium accords, state a candle load, and cost less per candle. Argued against our own interest: if you are launching your first masculine range, you may not need perfume-grade at all. The dearest masculine fragrance oil in this guide is a brand-inspired perfume listing: the Club De Nuit Intense inspired listing (CSI's listing name for its own interpretation; CSI is not affiliated with the brand) is ₹24.06 per gram, 5.3 times Woody Oud at 1 kg, putting ₹288.72 of oil in one 8% candle. Diwali falls on 8 November 2026, 45 days after these prices were checked; Christmas is 25 December 2026; North Indian winter runs roughly December to February. Can I use perfume grade fragrance oil in candles?
Yes, many makers do, but most perfume-grade pages at CSI state no candle load; their 15–25% figures are perfume rates. Work inside your wax's stated ceiling (CSI 464 up to 10%), test 6%, 8% and 10%, and cure before judging.
