CSI's listed price is the same for Delhi NCR as for anywhere in India, and on most oils the per-gram price barely moves between 100 g and 1 kg. The real breaks are on a few oils — Mango Coconut, Roasted Coconut, Eucalyptus Spearmint. For a 200 g candle at 8%, the oil costs ₹80.43 with Sandalwood bought by the kilogram. For more than a kilogram of one oil, ask on WhatsApp for a quote.
One line: check the per-gram price for each oil — a bigger pack is not automatically a wholesale discount.
The steepest real break in the core range: Mango Coconut is ₹5.00/g at 100 g and ₹3.96/g at 1 kg.

Where the price break is real — and where it is not

Across the core candle range, the kilogram is meaningfully cheaper per gram than 100 g on only a handful of oils: Mango Coconut (21%), Roasted Coconut (19%), Eucalyptus Spearmint (13%), Lemongrass and Lime (12%), British Rose (10%), Pumpkin Spice (10%). On 14 oils the kilogram costs exactly ten times the 100 g pack, and on 6 — Blue Ocean, Smoked Rose Royale, Midnight Bakhoor Royale, Sultan's Smoke, Jasmine Coconut Spa Ceylon — ten 100 g packs are a few rupees cheaper than one kilogram.

What that means for a wholesale buyer. Buy the kilogram when you need the volume, not for a discount that may not exist. On flat-priced oils, ten 100 g packs cost the same and let you split a batch across more scents; the kilogram's advantage is fewer bottles to handle and one batch. Above 1 kg of one oil, ask on WhatsApp for a quote rather than assuming the listed packs are the ceiling.

The reseller maths: what the oil costs inside a finished candle

For a 200 g candle at 8% using Sandalwood bought by the kilogram and Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 (flakes) at ₹507.40/kg: oil ₹80.43, wax ₹93.36, wick ₹5.90 — ₹179.69 in core materials, before the jar, label, packaging, labour, freight and GST.

Scale that to an example order — a Noida wedding-favour studio, 500 candles of 200 g — and the fragrance oil is 8.0 kg, or about ₹40,214. That is the number to use when a customer asks for a wholesale price per candle: know your oil cost per unit before you quote.

That is a fair ask, and the table above is the honest answer: on most oils the listed per-gram price is already flat from 100 g to 1 kg. For quantities above the largest listed pack, message us for a quote.

Who buys this way in Delhi NCR

Wedding-favour studio. November–February weddings mean repeated large votive runs. Rose and saffron profiles suit the season; keep one scent per wedding.

Say that buyer pours 500 candles of 120 g. At 8% each candle takes 9.6 g of oil, so the run needs 4.80 kg — about 4.8 kg in total, split across however many scents the run carries. If it were all British Rose, the oil would cost about ₹14,726 at the 1 kg price.

A second Delhi NCR buyer: home-décor boutique in south delhi. Premium pricing and winter-led scents. Larger 250 g jars and warm spiced gourmands carry the season. For 200 candles of 250 g at 8%, the oil comes to 4.00 kg — with Apple Cinnamon at ₹4,743.60 per kg, about ₹18,974.

What Delhi NCR changes about wholesale buying

Delhi NCR is continental, with summer highs that routinely pass 45°C in May–June, a July–September monsoon and winter nights that fall to around 5°C in December–January. NCR is the hardest climate on this list for candles. A heavily loaded soy candle sweats in a May stockroom, and the same wax frosts and pulls from the glass in a January one. Formulate below the maximum and warm your jars in winter.

NCR spans three states, and your invoice follows the delivery address. A Noida studio and a Gurugram client are billed to different states.

Gifting companies in Noida and Gurugram often quote before they have a final scent. Price your quote on the dearest oil you might use, then confirm the oil when the client approves the sample.

NCR makers deal with a wider temperature range than almost anyone else in India. A formula that behaves in October can sweat in May and frost in January, so keep notes by month, not just by batch.

Leave headroom under the stated maximum: an 8% load that is fine in October can sweat in a 45°C storeroom in May. Karwa Chauth on 29 October and Diwali corporate gifting make October the heaviest ordering month, followed by the November–February wedding season.
