CSI lists 23 floral and floral-led fragrance oils, and 20 of them carry a live 1 kg pack priced between ₹3,068 and ₹14,560. This page puts the whole family on one price ladder, works out what each kilo costs inside a finished candle, and shows you where the volume saving genuinely sits — because on most of these oils it is not where you expect.
₹3,068–₹14,560
per 1 kg across the 20 florals with a live kilo listing · ₹49.09 to ₹232.96 of oil inside one 200 g candle at an 8% load · one kilo of oil covers 62 such candles · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
What does a kilo of floral fragrance oil cost in India? At CSI, from ₹3,068 for British Rose and ₹3,923 for Jasmine up to ₹12,000 for Lavender Oud and ₹14,560 for English Pear & Freesia. Twenty florals carry a live 1 kg listing, and the median of those twenty is ₹7,136.50.

How many candles does a kilo make? 62 candles of 200 g at an 8% load, because each one takes 16 g of oil. At 10% it is 50 candles. That is the number that turns a price per kilo into a price per unit.

Where is the volume saving? Mostly between 15 g and 100 g. British Rose falls from ₹6,293.33 per kg at 15 g to ₹3,422 per kg at 100 g — a 45.6% drop. From 100 g to 1 kg the listed per-kg price is flat or near-flat on most florals; only four step down by more than 8%.

What if I need more than a kilo? 1 kg is the largest floral pack CSI lists. Above that you buy multiple kilos at the listed price, or message the bulk line for a quote. We will not print a number here for a quantity that is not on a product page.
The short answer
Buy the kilo, not the family: a floral range is built one proven scent at a time. Order 1 kg of the two florals that have passed a burn test and 100 g of the three you are still deciding between.
Price the candle, not the bottle: ₹3,068 and ₹14,560 look far apart until you divide by 62. The same kilo gap is ₹49.09 against ₹232.96 inside one 200 g candle — real money, but a fifth of what the headline suggests.
Do not wait for a bulk break that is not there: on 16 of the 20 florals with a kilo listing, the per-kg price at 100 g and at 1 kg is within 5% of each other. Buy the kilo for continuity of batch and fewer reorders, not for a discount.

What one kilo costs — and what that kilo puts inside a single 200 g candle at 8% British Rose ₹3,068 / kg · ₹49.09 per candle Jasmine ₹3,923 / kg · ₹62.77 per candle Gardenia ₹4,332 / kg · ₹69.31 per candle Japanese Cherry Blossom ₹4,842 / kg · ₹77.47 per candle Lavender ₹5,221 / kg · ₹83.54 per candle Ylang Ylang Flower ₹5,310 / kg · ₹84.96 per candle Raat Ki Rani ₹6,774 / kg · ₹108.38 per candle Smoked Rose Royale ₹7,999 / kg · ₹127.98 per candle Lavender Oud ₹12,000 / kg English Pear & Freesia ₹14,560 / kg · ₹232.96 per candle
Bar length is the listed 1 kg price. Ten of the twenty florals with a live kilo listing are shown. The full spread is ₹11,492 per kilo, which sounds enormous — spread across the 16 g of oil in one 200 g candle at 8%, it is ₹183.87 per candle. Both numbers are true and they lead to different decisions.
Straight answer
What does it cost to buy floral candle fragrance oils wholesale in India, and how should the order be structured?
CSI lists 23 floral and floral-led fragrance oils, of which 20 carry a live 1 kg pack. The kilo prices run from ₹3,068 for British Rose and ₹3,923 for Jasmine, through ₹4,332 for Gardenia, ₹4,460 for Rajnigandha (Tuberose) and ₹5,310 for Ylang Ylang Flower, up to ₹12,000 for Lavender Oud and ₹14,560 for English Pear & Freesia. Divide any of those by 62 and you have the per-candle cost of a 200 g candle at an 8% load: ₹49.09 at the bottom, ₹232.96 at the top. The structural point most buyers miss is where the discount lives. On these oils the steep saving is between the 15 g trial bottle and the 100 g bottle — British Rose drops 45.6% per kg across that step — while from 100 g to 1 kg the listed per-kg price is flat or within a few percent on sixteen of the twenty. So the kilo is not bought for a price break. It is bought for one batch across a production run, fewer reorders, and a scent you have already proved. One kilogram is the largest floral pack CSI lists; larger or recurring volumes are quoted on WhatsApp, and this page will not guess that number.
One line: twenty florals list a kilo between ₹3,068 and ₹14,560, a kilo pours 62 candles at 8%, and the volume break you are looking for happened two sizes ago.
Sizing a first floral order? British Rose 1 kg at ₹3,068, Jasmine 1 kg at ₹3,923 and Gardenia 1 kg at ₹4,332 are the three cheapest kilos in the family, and all three publish a load, a measured flash point and a vanillin figure.

What counts as a floral here

Half the catalogue has a flower in it somewhere. That is not a floral range — that is perfumery.

Before a wholesale number means anything, the boundary has to be drawn in public. Search the CSI fragrance pages for the word jasmine and you will hit dark oud blends, marine accords and coffee-tobacco compositions, because jasmine is a workhorse heart note in almost everything. A buyer who orders on that basis ends up with a "floral range" that customers read as amber, aquatic and gourmand.

So the rule used on this page is narrow and stated: an oil counts as a floral if the product page names a flower in the product name, or states a scent family that is floral, fruity-floral or floral-amber. That gives 23 listings. Oils with a floral note buried in the heart but a stated family of fresh, fruity, woody or oriental are excluded — they belong to the woody, fresh and gourmand clusters.

Inside the 23 there are two commercially different halves, and they behave differently on a price list. Eleven are flower-named: the customer can say the word and mean the candle. Twelve are floral compositions — a flower heart wrapped in fruit, vanilla, amber or wood — which sell on a mood rather than a botanical name. The flower-named half is cheaper per kilo almost without exception, because a single-note brief is a simpler thing to compound.

The mistake this boundary prevents. A brand launching "a floral collection" picks six oils from search results, two of which are stated woody-oriental with a rose top note. The photographs promise a flower shop. The candles smell of amber. Nothing on either product page was wrong — the buyer simply never read the stated scent family. Read the family line before the note list; the family line is the page's own summary of what the oil actually is.
Single-flower depth lives elsewhere on this site
This page is the family-wide commercial view: what everything costs, in what packs, and how to order it. If you have already chosen a flower and want the detail — the note pyramids, the wax pairings, the discolouration argument — read the rose guide, the jasmine and white-floral guide and the lavender guide.

Every floral, every kilo, and what it costs per candle

One table, the whole family, sorted by the number that decides a wholesale order: the 1 kg price. The per-candle column assumes a 200 g finished candle at an 8% fragrance load — 16 g of oil and 184 g of wax — which is the convention used across this series. A kilo therefore covers 62 such candles (1,000 ÷ 16 = 62.5, rounded down, with the remainder absorbed as a planning allowance for spills and top-ups).

Priced above: every figure is the listed 1 kg price on the linked product page in September 2026. Per-gram is the kilo price ÷ 1,000. Per-candle is per-gram × 16 g, the oil in a 200 g candle at an 8% load. Forever Red is shown as floral-adjacent because its stated character is fruity-oriental with a floral heart rather than a floral family — included for completeness, not counted in the 23.
Do not read this table as a quality ranking. Price per kilo reflects the cost of the materials in the compound and the concentration the page is sold at, not how the candle performs on a customer's shelf. British Rose is the cheapest kilo in the family and its page states "Strength Moderate to strong - clean and noticeable throw" along with a measured flash point and a vanillin figure — more published detail than several oils at three times the price. Cost and evidence are separate columns. The evidence one is set out in the strong-florals guide.

Where the volume saving actually is

Everyone climbs the pack ladder expecting the last rung to be the cheap one. On florals, the cheap rung is the second.

Thirteen florals list a 15 g bottle. All twenty with a kilo also list 100 g. Put the per-kilogram cost of those three rungs side by side and a pattern appears that changes how a first wholesale order should be written.

Four oils in the family step down by 8% or more between 100 g and 1 kg — British Rose (−10.3%), Rajnigandha (−10.8%), Ylang Ylang (−10.0%) and Jasmine (−8.8%). Everything else is within a few percent, and on four listings the 1 kg per-kilo figure is a rupee or two above the 100 g figure. That is not an error to argue with; it is what the pages say, and it means the honest reason to buy a kilo is operational rather than financial.

Why buy the kilo anyway. Three reasons that have nothing to do with price. One batch: a 500-candle run poured from one kilo is one compounding batch, so shade and strength do not drift mid-run. One reorder cycle: ten 100 g bottles is ten chances to be caught between stock. One weighing routine: decanting from a single kilo bottle is faster and loses less oil than opening ten small ones. If you are pouring more than about 60 candles of a scent in a quarter, the kilo is the sane pack even at an identical per-kilo price.
The 15 g bottle is a nose test, not a production size
Fifteen grams will not fill one 200 g candle at 8% — that candle needs 16 g. What 15 g does do, at ₹90 to ₹133, is let you smell the oil neat, blot it on card and leave it overnight, and pour one 120 g test jar at 9.6 g with a little to spare. Thirteen florals list that size. Use it to eliminate, then step straight to 100 g for the burn test, then to 1 kg when the scent has earned it.

The three kilos most floral ranges start with

Chosen for what is published rather than for what they might smell like to you: each of these three states a candle load, a measured flash point and a vanillin figure on its own page, and each sits in the lower half of the family's price ladder. Size tables below are live listings; the ≈ column counts 200 g candles at an 8% load.

1
Rose · the cheapest kilo in the family
British Rose Fragrance Oil
The entry point to floral wholesale at CSI and, unusually, also one of the best-documented pages in the range. It states a scent family of "Floral - soft, romantic, refined", a strength of "Moderate to strong - clean and noticeable throw", a load of "Up to 10% for soy wax" and "Up to 6% for paraffin wax", a flash point of 192°C, and "Vanillin content 0% - no discolouration or yellowing in wax". Three published Judge.me reviews sit on the listing. Note that the 15 g row below counts as zero 200 g candles — it is 15 g against a 16 g requirement, which is exactly what a trial size should be.

White floral · the volume scent in India
Jasmine Fragrance Oil
Jasmine is the floral with the largest natural demand in an Indian range, and its page publishes more technical detail than most: a family of "Floral / Exotic / Sweet", an undertone of "Subtle musk - warm, slightly indolic depth that makes the jasmine feel real", a strength of "Strong - excellent cold and hot throw in both candles and wax melts", a stated "Up to 10% for soy wax" with "cure 48-72 hours", a flash point of 185°C and "Vanillin content 0%". At ₹3,923 per kilo it is the second-cheapest floral kilo in stock.

3
Creamy white floral · the third slot
Gardenia Fragrance Oil
Where rose covers the romantic brief and jasmine the traditional one, gardenia covers the creamy, modern-luxury brief that a lot of gift ranges are built on. The page describes it against its neighbours in the family: "Softer and creamier than jasmine, more velvety than rose - delicate and substantial at once", with a strength of "Moderate to strong - noticeable and refined throw" and a load of "Up to 10% for soy wax candles with a cure time of 48-72 hours". Two published figures deserve attention before you order a kilo: a flash point of 98°C, the lowest of any floral with a measured value, and "Vanillin content 0.2%" rather than zero.
Size Price Per kg 200 g candles @ 8%
15 gm ₹105.02 ₹7,001.33 ≈0

What the Gardenia flash point does and does not mean
A flash point is the temperature at which the vapour above a liquid can ignite in a test apparatus. It is a handling and transport figure, not a scent figure, and the Gardenia page turns it into a bench instruction: add this fragrance oil to wax at a temperature below 98°C. Only five florals publish a measured value at all — Neroli 85°C, Gardenia 98°C, Jasmine 185°C, British Rose 192°C and Ylang Ylang 193°C. For the other eighteen, no number is published and none should be assumed. Ask for the SDS on WhatsApp if you need one on file.

Costing a 500-candle floral run

Wholesale questions are really production questions. Here is the full arithmetic for a 500-unit run of 200 g soy container candles at an 8% load, using listed packs only and no quantity that is not on a product page.

1
Convert units into grams500 candles × 200 g = 100,000 g of finished candle. At an 8% load that splits into 8,000 g of fragrance oil (8 kg) and 92,000 g of wax (92 kg). Every number after this is a purchase decision against those two figures.
2
Buy the oil in kilos, because that is the largest pack listedEight kilos of one scent is 8 × 1 kg. On British Rose that is 8 × ₹3,068 = ₹24,544. On Jasmine, 8 × ₹3,923 = ₹31,384. On Gardenia, 8 × ₹4,332 = ₹34,656. Those totals are the ceiling: they are what eight separate kilo packs cost at listed price, and a recurring order of that size is exactly what the bulk line is for.
3
Split the run across scents, because nobody sells 500 of one candleA four-scent floral collection at 125 candles each needs 2,000 g of each oil. That is 2 × 1 kg per scent, and it is the point at which the kilo stops being a stretch and becomes the obvious pack. Four scents at British Rose, Jasmine, Gardenia and Rajnigandha pricing comes to 2 × (₹3,068 + ₹3,923 + ₹4,332 + ₹4,460) = ₹31,566 for the fragrance across the whole run.
4
Price the wax against the oil, then stop worrying about the oil92 kg of Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 bought as 9 × 10 kg + 1 × 1 kg + 1 × 500 g + a second 500 g comes to 9 × ₹5,074 + ₹507.40 + 2 × ₹260 = ₹46,693.40. Set that beside ₹31,566 of fragrance and the picture is clear: on a floral range the wax and the oil are roughly the same order of cost, and the wick, jar and lid will usually exceed both.
5
Add a planning allowance and order onceAllow 3–5% for spills, top-ups and the film left in a mixing jug. On 8 kg of oil that is 240–400 g — which, at listed prices, is not worth a whole extra kilo pack, so build it into the run size instead by planning for 480 candles rather than 500 from the same purchase. It is cheaper to plan the loss than to reorder 100 g of a scent halfway through a pour day.
Priced above: British Rose 1 kg ₹3,068 · Jasmine 1 kg ₹3,923 · Gardenia 1 kg ₹4,332 · Rajnigandha (Tuberose) 1 kg ₹4,460 · Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 10 kg ₹5,074, 1 kg ₹507.40, 500 g ₹260.
The CSI principle
A wholesale order is not a bet on a price. It is a bet on a scent you have already burned.
Eight kilos of the wrong floral is a far more expensive mistake than eight kilos of a dearer right one. The order of operations never changes: 15 g to eliminate, 100 g to burn-test, 1 kg to produce. Anyone who sells you the kilo first is selling you the bottle, not the candle.
Planning a festive floral run? Working back from Diwali on 8 November 2026, fragrance wants to be decided and ordered with enough runway to pour, cure and pack. Bulk quotes above 1 kg, GST invoicing, SDS and IFRA documentation are handled on the WhatsApp line.
Ask for a bulk quote

Above 1 kg: what CSI does and does not list

The honest answer to "what is your 5 kg price" is that there isn't one on the website — and that a supplier who invents one for you is telling you something about how they price.

Across the entire fragrance range, the listed sizes are 15 g, 50 g, 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg, and not every oil carries all five. Vanilla Orange Blossom jumps 100 g straight to 1 kg with no 500 g. Smoked Rose Royale, English Pear & Freesia and Lavender Oud begin at 100 g with no trial size at all. There is no 5 kg or 10 kg fragrance pack.

So the arithmetic above 1 kg is simply multiplication at the listed price, and you should treat that multiplied figure as a ceiling. Five kilos of Jasmine as five 1 kg packs is 5 × ₹3,923 = ₹19,615. Ten kilos is ₹39,230. Those are the numbers you can hold anyone to, including us. Whether a recurring order of that size is quoted differently is a conversation, not a published price, and this page will not pretend to know the answer.

What to send when you ask for a quote. A quote request that says "what's your best price on florals" gets a slow, vague reply everywhere in the world. One that says "8 kg Jasmine and 4 kg British Rose, repeating quarterly, GST invoice, delivering to Pune" gets a real answer, because every one of those facts changes the calculation. Add whether you need the SDS and IFRA documentation on file and whether the order is seasonal or standing.
There is no secret wholesale list. There is a product page, a multiplication, and a conversation about what happens when you do it every quarter.

Sold out, part-stocked, and what to do about it

A wholesale page that only shows what is buyable is a sales page. Three floral listings are currently not fully available, and two of them matter commercially, so here they are with the substitution logic.

Availability gaps in the floral family · September 2026
What is out, what is still buyable on the same listing, and the nearest in-stock structure

Mogra Fragrance Oil Single 100 g listing, sold out. No other size exists "Top Notes: Fresh green, soft citrus, airy floral"; "Heart Notes: Rich jasmine, creamy white florals, slightly powdery"; "Base Notes: Soft musk, warm woody undertones" Jasmine for the white-floral centre; Raat Ki Rani for the powdery, night-blooming reading
Dahlia All four sizes sold out "a romantic dahlia-jasmine-rose heart" with a pear and bergamot opening and a praline-vanilla-musk base Pink Crush for the fruity-floral heart; Love Spell at ₹4,499/kg for the cheaper equivalent brief
Butterfly 50 g and 100 g in stock; 500 g and 1 kg sold out "Middle Notes: Iris Petals, Jasmine" over a vanilla bean and soft musk base Buy the 100 g to keep the scent in the range; Gingham Heart of Gold covers the fruity-floral-with-vanilla-base brief at kilo scale

Mogra is the one worth planning around. It is the single most requested Indian white floral in candle retail and CSI's only mogra-named listing is a 100 g bottle that is currently out of stock, with no larger pack behind it. If your range depends on the word mogra, build it on Jasmine — whose page states the same white-floral centre with a musk undertone — and describe your candle by what it actually contains. The jasmine and white-floral guide works through that substitution in detail.

Stock on a 1 kg fragrance pack moves faster than stock on a 15 g one, because one wholesale buyer clears it. If a kilo matters to a production date, confirm it on WhatsApp before you build the schedule around it — and if it is a standing quarterly requirement, say so, because that is a different planning conversation from a one-off.
Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles, and compounds none of the oils on this page. That matters on a wholesale guide, because the commercially convenient version of this article would put the ₹14,560 kilo at the top of the list and call it the professional choice. Instead it opens with the ₹3,068 one, because that listing publishes a load, a flash point, a vanillin figure and three customer reviews — and a buyer whose first floral kilo works keeps buying kilos.

Every price, pack size and quoted phrase here is taken from live CSI stock in September 2026 and links to the product page, where current pricing and specification always take precedence. Scent families, strengths, loads, flash points and vanillin figures are quoted from the product pages themselves, in their own words and punctuation. Where a page states nothing — no load on Smoked Rose Royale, no flash point on eighteen of the twenty-three — this guide says so rather than filling the gap. Brand-inspired oils in the range are described by their stated structure, never by the fragrance they reference.

For quotes above 1 kg, recurring or standing orders, GST invoicing, or SDS and IFRA documentation on a specific oil, message the bulk line on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926. We do not publish prices for quantities that are not on a product page.

Frequently asked questions

What is the wholesale price of floral fragrance oil in India?
At CSI in September 2026 the largest listed pack is 1 kg, and across the 20 florals that carry one the price runs from ₹3,068 (British Rose) to ₹14,560 (English Pear & Freesia). Jasmine is ₹3,923, Gardenia ₹4,332, Rajnigandha ₹4,460 and Ylang Ylang ₹5,310. Inside a 200 g candle at an 8% load that is ₹49.09 to ₹232.96 of oil. Larger or recurring volumes are quoted on WhatsApp rather than listed.
How many candles will 1 kg of floral fragrance oil make?
62 candles of 200 g at an 8% load, since each takes 16 g of oil. At 10% it is 50 candles, at 6% it is 83, and at a 120 g test-jar size and 8% it is 104. Load in this series is calculated as a share of the finished candle, so a 200 g candle at 8% is 16 g of oil plus 184 g of wax. Some product pages phrase their percentage as a share of total wax weight instead — worth checking which convention a page uses before you scale.
Is there a bulk discount on fragrance oils at CSI?
On the listed packs, mostly no. On sixteen of the twenty florals with a kilo, the per-kilogram price at 100 g and at 1 kg is within 5%, and on four of them the kilo works out fractionally dearer per gram. The four that do step down meaningfully are British Rose (−10.3%), Rajnigandha (−10.8%), Ylang Ylang (−10.0%) and Jasmine (−8.8%). The steep saving is earlier: 15 g to 100 g cuts the per-kilo cost by up to 45.6%. Above 1 kg, ask for a quote.
Can I buy 5 kg or 10 kg of a floral fragrance oil?
Not as a single listed pack — 1 kg is the largest size CSI lists on any fragrance oil. You can order multiple kilos at the listed price: 5 kg of Jasmine as five 1 kg packs is ₹19,615, and 10 kg is ₹39,230. Treat those as the ceiling. For recurring volumes of that size, message the bulk line with the quantity, the scents, the frequency and the delivery city and ask for a quote. We will not state what that quote will be.
Which floral fragrance oils does CSI actually stock?
Twenty-three floral and floral-led listings. Flower-named: British Rose, Jasmine, Gardenia, Rajnigandha (Tuberose), Raat Ki Rani, Ylang Ylang, Lavender, Japanese Cherry Blossom, Neroli, Neroli Signature Grade and Mogra. Floral compositions: Smoked Rose Royale, Solar Bloom, Pink Crush, Love Spell, English Pear & Freesia, Lavender Cranberry Coconut, Lavender Oud, Vanilla Orange Blossom, Jasmine Coconut Spa Ceylon, Gingham Heart of Gold, Butterfly and Dahlia. Mogra and Dahlia are sold out; Butterfly is sold out at 500 g and 1 kg.
Do CSI floral fragrance oils discolour white wax?
It depends entirely on the oil, and twelve of the twenty-three pages publish a vanillin or discolouration line while eleven publish nothing at all. British Rose states "Vanillin content 0% - no discolouration or yellowing in wax"; Jasmine, Ylang Ylang and Neroli also state 0%; Gardenia states 0.2%. At the other end, Vanilla Orange Blossom warns of "moderate-to-significant browning in white or light-coloured wax". Where a page states nothing, pour a test tile and leave it four weeks before you commit a white-wax range.

Five florals publish a measured flash point — Neroli 85°C, Gardenia 98°C, Jasmine 185°C, British Rose 192°C, Ylang Ylang 193°C; the remaining eighteen publish either no value or a threshold line, which is not a measured flash point. Twelve of the 23 pages state a vanillin or discolouration line. Scent families, strengths, loads, cure times and note structures are quoted verbatim from the linked product pages.
