No CSI soy wax is listed as a single 25 kg pack, so 25 kg is bought as 5 kg and 10 kg bags — ₹9,980 to ₹15,925 depending on the wax. That is about 135 full-size candles, which is a festive run, and this guide plans it backwards from Diwali on 8 November 2026.
₹9,980–₹15,925
for 25 kg built from listed 5 kg and 10 kg bags (no 25 kg pack is listed) · ≈135 × 200g candles at 8% · larger or recurring volumes quoted on WhatsApp · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
Can I buy a 25 kg bag of soy wax at CSI? Not as a listed pack. The largest listed packs are 10 kg (and 50 kg on Natural Soy Pearl Wax), so 25 kg is 2 × 10 kg + 1 × 5 kg, or five 5 kg bags. The Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 product page mentions a 25 kg format — ask on WhatsApp whether it is available.

What does 25 kg cost? From listed packs: Eco Soy CSI 400 ₹9,980, Natural Soy Pearl ₹10,620, CSI 464 ₹12,685, Luxury Soy Wax Chunks ₹14,975, Soy Pillar ₹15,000, Coconut Soy CSI 468 ₹15,925. Those listed prices are the ceiling; a quote for a larger or repeat order comes from WhatsApp.

How many candles? 135 × 200g at an 8% load is the arithmetic maximum; with a 3% allowance for loss plan on 131, or add a 1 kg pack to pour all 135.

When do I pour for Diwali 2026? Working back from Sunday 8 November with a 21-day cure and an example last dispatch on 31 October, pour in three waves on 26 September, 3 October and 10 October.
The short answer
Buy 25 kg as bags, not as a guess: 2 × 10 kg + 1 × 5 kg of one wax at listed prices, and message CSI on WhatsApp for anything the listing doesn't show.
Split 135 candles into three waves of 45: each wave is 8,280g of wax and 720g of oil, which is one load on a 10 kg melter and one shelf of curing jars.
Only pour festive scents you have already tested: a new scent needs its own cure and burn before it can join a wave, and the calendar has no room for a failed one.

Horizontal scale is calendar days from Friday 11 September to Diwali on Sunday 8 November 2026 (58 days). Each dark bar runs from a Saturday pour to the end of a 21-day cure. Wave 3 on 10 October is the last pour that completes a 21-day cure by the example dispatch date of 31 October.
Straight answer
I want to pour a Diwali run from 25 kg of soy wax. What will it cost, and when do I have to start?
Buy it as listed bags of one wax. No 25 kg pack is listed, so the listed cost is two 10 kg bags plus one 5 kg bag: ₹12,685 for Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464, ₹14,975 for Luxury Soy Wax Chunks (as five 5 kg bags, ₹18 less than 2 × 10 + 5), ₹15,925 for CSI 468, or ₹9,980 for Eco Soy CSI 400 in five 5 kg bags. Those listed per-kilo prices are the most you will pay; CSI 464's page mentions a 25 kg format, and larger or repeat orders are quoted on WhatsApp. The bag makes 135 × 200g candles at 8%, or 131 with a 3% loss allowance. With Diwali on Sunday 8 November 2026, a 21-day cure and an example last dispatch of 31 October, pour three waves of 45 on 26 September, 3 October and 10 October. On CSI 464 with three 1 kg festive oils, golden-lid Salsa jars, C2 wicks and stickers, the whole run is ₹32,684.80, about ₹204.10 of materials a candle. Order everything now; it is already mid-September.
One line: 25 kg is 2 × 10 kg + 5 kg of one wax, 135 candles in three waves of 45, and a last full-cure pour on 10 October for Diwali on 8 November.
Building 25 kg? CSI 464: 2 × 10 kg (₹5,074) + 5 kg (₹2,537). Luxury Soy Wax Chunks: 5 × 5 kg at ₹2,995. CSI 468: 2 × 10 kg (₹6,370) + 5 kg (₹3,185). Or message us for a single 25 kg quote with GST invoice.

There is no 25 kg bag. Here is what 25 kg costs from listed packs

"25 kg soy wax price" is a search for a number that isn't on the listing. The honest answer is a sum.

CSI's soy waxes are listed in 500g, 1 kg, 5 kg and 10 kg packs, and Natural Soy Pearl Wax additionally at 50 kg. None is listed at 25 kg. So the price of 25 kg from the listing is the cheapest combination of listed bags, and because the per-kilo price on most CSI soy waxes is flat from 1 kg to 10 kg, the combination barely changes the answer. The table does the sums for every soy wax with a 5 kg pack.

Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468 ₹15,925 ₹15,925 ₹637 ₹117.21 ₹15,823.08 Up to 13%
Worked out above: listed 10 kg and 5 kg prices — Natural Soy Pearl ₹4,248 / ₹2,124; CSI 464 ₹5,074 / ₹2,537; Chunks ₹5,999 / ₹2,995; Soy Pillar ₹6,000 / ₹3,000; CSI 468 ₹6,370 / ₹3,185; Eco Soy CSI 400 5 kg ₹1,996. Example: CSI 464 = 2 × ₹5,074 + ₹2,537 = ₹12,685 = ₹507.40/kg. Wax per candle = per kg ÷ 1,000 × 184g; wax in 135 candles = 135 × 184g = 24,840g at that rate.

Three things follow. First, the combination rarely matters: on four waxes, 2 × 10 kg + 5 kg and five 5 kg bags cost exactly the same. The exception is Luxury Soy Wax Chunks, where the 10 kg bag is priced at ₹599.90 a kilo against ₹599 in 5 kg bags, so five 5 kg bags are ₹18 cheaper. Second, the spread between waxes is ₹5,945 for 25 kg (₹9,980 to ₹15,925), but inside a single candle that is ₹43.76. Third, CSI 464's product page lists "1kg, 5kg, 25kg formats" in its description, although no 25 kg variant is on the listing today — if you want 25 kg of CSI 464 in one pack, that is a WhatsApp question, not a checkout option.

The mistake: waiting for a "25 kg price" before ordering anything. In September, the calendar costs more than the rupees. The listed per-kilo prices above are a ceiling you can order at today, and a WhatsApp quote for a larger or repeat order can only improve on a ceiling — it cannot make the order earlier. If your first wave needs to be poured by late September, order the bags for Wave 1 now at listed prices and ask about the rest in the same message. What to include in that message is covered in soy wax 25 kg wholesale price in India.

Back-planning from Diwali, Sunday 8 November 2026

A festive run is planned backwards. Diwali falls on Sunday 8 November 2026, which is 58 days from today, Friday 11 September. Your customers need candles in hand before the festival, so the first date to fix is your own last dispatch date. We use Saturday 31 October as the example — eight days before Diwali — but set yours by your courier's transit times and how your customers buy. Everything else hangs off that date and a 14–21 day cure, which is standard practice for soy container candles; the woody, spicy and gourmand scents common in Diwali ranges keep improving towards 21 days.

Example festive schedule · Diwali 8 November 2026 · 21-day cure
What happens on each date, and why that date
Date Days to Diwali What happens Why then
Fri 11 – Sat 12 Sep 58–57 Order wax, oils, jars and wicks; pour test jars of any scent you haven't burned before Allow for delivery; a new scent needs a cure and a burn before it joins a wave
Sat 26 Sep 43 Wave 1: 45 candles of scents you have already proven; burn the 14-day test jars 21 days later is 17 Oct — the start of your selling window
Sat 3 Oct 36 Wave 2: 45 candles; a newly tested scent can join from here Cured by 24 Oct
Sat 10 Oct 29 Wave 3: 45 candles The last pour that completes 21 days by 31 Oct
Sat 17 Oct 22 Wave 1 cured: burn-check one per scent, pack, start dispatching First in, first out
Sat 24 Oct 15 Wave 2 cured: burn-check one candle, pack, dispatch Late-season orders need stock on hand, not on the cure shelf
Sat 31 Oct 8 Wave 3 cured: burn-check one candle, final dispatch (example date) Leaves a week for transit before the festival
Sun 8 Nov 0 Diwali Fixed
If a wave slips, shorten the cure only for the right scents
A 14-day cure is the short end of standard practice and suits fresh and citrus scents better than heavy ones. If Wave 3 slips from 10 October to 17 October, a 14-day cure still finishes on 31 October — so move your lightest festive scent into that wave and keep sandalwood, spice and oud in the earlier, longer-curing waves. Which scents need more time is covered in how cure time changes the smell of different fragrance families.

Mid-September is late, but it is workable if the scents are already decided. If they aren't, the fragrance side of the plan is set out in how early candle brands should order fragrance oils for Diwali and the best candle fragrance oils for Diwali collections.

Pouring 135 candles in three waves

Twenty-five kilos divided by 184g is 135.87, so the bag makes 135 × 200g candles at an 8% load with 160g left. A planning allowance of 3–5% for loss — spills, jug residue, a few top-ups — takes the realistic count to 131 at 3% or 129 at 5%. For a festive run, where a missing candle is a missed sale, add one 1 kg pack of the same wax: 26 kg less 3% covers 137 candles, so all 135 are safe. The allowance is a planning figure, not a measured loss rate; your own reject count from a 10 kg batch is the better number if you have one.

1
Size every wave the same: 45 candles, 15 per scentEach wave is 45 × 184g = 8,280g of wax and 45 × 16g = 720g of oil; each scent within it is 2,760g of wax and 240g of oil. Identical waves mean identical shopping lists for jars, wicks and stickers, and a shelf that fills and empties at the same rate.
2
Match the wave to your melter8,280g sits inside the stated 10 kg capacity of the 10 kg Electric Wax Melter (₹21,240), so a wave is one melt. On a 1-litre Mini Electric Wax Melter (₹2,360) it is about 12 loads at four candles a load, or 15 at three — a planning assumption, since that page states litres, not grams. Time your first load and multiply before you promise anyone a date.
3
Measure your cure shelf before the wax arrivesBy 10 October all three waves are on the shelf at once — 135 jars. At a jar width of 7 cm (the stated width of CSI's matte jars and 150g clear jar; measure your own) each jar takes a 7 × 7 cm square, so 135 jars need about 6,615 cm², roughly 0.66 m² in a single layer. A 120 × 30 cm shelf holds 17 × 4 = 68 jars, so plan two such shelves, plus space for lids and labels.
4
Label by wave, not just by scentWrite the wave number and pour date on each carton and each jar base. When Wave 1 is ready on 17 October, it has to leave first; if a problem shows up in one wave's burn-check, you need to know exactly which 45 candles it affects.
5
Burn-check each wave before it shipsBurn one candle per scent from Wave 1 and one candle from each later wave for three hours: full melt pool, no soot, throw you would pay for. That is five candles out of 135, so plan to sell 130; the checked candles become your photography and in-person testers, which a festive range needs anyway. A fuller score sheet is in how to test hot throw before launching a candle fragrance.
The CSI principle
A festive run isn't measured in kilos. It's measured in days of cure left before the festival.
Twenty-five kilos poured on 20 October is 135 candles that are either under-cured or late. The same twenty-five kilos poured in three waves from 26 September is a Diwali range. The wax is identical; only the calendar changed.

The festive run, costed

Here is a complete 135-candle Diwali run built on CSI 464, with three festive scents of 45 candles each — Sandalwood, Apple Cinnamon and British Rose — in 200ml Salsa jars with golden lids. Each scent needs 45 × 16g = 720g of oil across its three waves.

Festive run total ₹32,684.80 ₹242.11 of cash per candle · ₹204.10 of materials inside each

Inside each candle, the wax (184g at ₹507.40/kg) is ₹93.36, the C2 wick ₹9.44, the jar ₹29.50 and the two stickers ₹3.33. The oil is what varies: ₹80.43 of Sandalwood, ₹75.90 of Apple Cinnamon, ₹49.09 of British Rose at 1 kg prices, which makes the candles ₹216.06, ₹211.53 and ₹184.72. Swap the wax line and the run changes by the difference in wax cost (25 kg plus the 1 kg top-up): Luxury Soy Wax Chunks (5 × 5 kg + 1 kg, ₹15,574) adds ₹2,381.60; Eco Soy CSI 400 (5 × 5 kg + 1 kg, ₹10,379) saves ₹2,813.40.

British Rose ₹3,068 ₹2,489.80 ₹578.20 ₹3.07 vs ₹3.32 17 vs 1
All three ₹12,838.40 ₹9,837.66 ₹3,000.74 51 vs 3
Priced above: 750g sets — Sandalwood 500 gm ₹2,513.40 + 2 × 100 gm ₹502.68 + 50 gm ₹271.40; Apple Cinnamon 500 gm ₹2,371.80 + 2 × 100 gm ₹474.36 + 50 gm ₹237.18; British Rose 500 gm ₹1,593 + 2 × 100 gm ₹342.20 + 50 gm ₹212.40. Leftover candles = leftover grams ÷ 16g (280g → 17; 30g → 1). Wicks ₹944 (100) + ₹472 (50); jars ₹2,950 (100) + ₹1,475 (50); CSI 464 1 kg ₹507.40.

On Sandalwood and Apple Cinnamon the price per gram is flat from 100g to 1 kg, so the 1 kg bottle is not cheaper oil — it is ₹1,200-odd of extra cash for 250g more stock. On British Rose the 1 kg bottle genuinely is cheaper per gram. The festive argument for 1 kg bottles is the 17 extra candles' worth of oil per scent: if one scent sells out in Wave 1, you can pour more of it without reordering oil mid-season (you will need about 184g of extra wax and a jar per candle), and whatever is left starts your Christmas range. If cash is tight, buy the 750g sets for the two flat-priced scents and a 1 kg of British Rose. For a larger version of this oil maths, see how much fragrance oil is needed for 500 Diwali candles.

Which wax to buy 25 kg of for a festive run

A festive run is the wrong moment to try a new wax. Buy 25 kg of the wax your last 10 kg batch was poured in. If you are choosing now, these three container waxes have published specifications to start from; each card shows how many 200g candles each pack holds.

The run above is built on it: ₹12,685 for 25 kg as 2 × 10 kg + 5 kg, the same ₹507.40 a kilo in every pack from 1 kg up. It is stated up to 10% for single-pour container candles, which is room enough for festive scents at 8%. Its page lists a 60-month shelf life in cool, dry storage, so any wax left after Diwali carries into the next season. It is also the only CSI soy wax whose description mentions a 25 kg format; the listing doesn't show one, so ask on WhatsApp.

Storing 25 kg of soy wax in Indian heat

Twenty-five kilos of wax spends weeks in your space before it becomes candles. Where you put it matters.

A three-wave plan keeps bags in storage from mid-September to mid-October, and finished candles on shelves until the end of the month. What the product pages state is limited but useful. CSI 464 and CSI 468 list a 60-month shelf life in cool, dry storage. CSI 468 states a melting point of 50–53°C. And Eco Soy CSI 400's page states a melt point of 100°F (37.8°C) — a figure worth taking seriously in a warm storeroom if that is the wax you chose for its ₹9,980 price. Luxury Soy Wax Chunks and Natural Soy Pearl Wax state no melting point. The habits below are general practice, not product specifications.

The mistake: storing bags where it's convenient instead of where it's cool. A terrace store room under a roof slab, a room with a west-facing wall, a tin shed or a parked vehicle in the afternoon can all run far warmer than the rest of the house. Bags that soften and re-set turn into solid blocks that are hard to weigh out accurately. Keep the 25 kg in the coolest shaded room you have, off the floor and away from walls that take the afternoon sun, and open one bag per wave so the rest stay sealed.

Finished candles need the same care. Curing is meant to happen at room temperature, out of sunlight, with lids on and in closed cartons — not next to a window in October sun. Heat and temperature swings can encourage frosting and fragrance sweating to the surface; if you see either, the causes and fixes are in why soy candles frost and why your candle is sweating fragrance oil. When candles leave for customers, a snug outer box helps in transit; CSI's corrugated candle box (11 × 11 × 8 cm) is ₹1,121 for 50, or ₹22.42 a box.

When to ask for a quote instead of adding bags to the cart

The listed bags are the fastest route and the price ceiling. A WhatsApp enquiry is the right route when any of these is true: you want 25 kg of CSI 464 in the format its page mentions; you are buying 25 kg and the festive oils, jars and wicks in one consolidated order; you expect to repeat the order for Christmas or for a regular monthly run; or you need a GST invoice, MSDS or IFRA documentation for a corporate gifting client. Send the wax, the quantity, how often you expect to order, your GST number if you have one and your delivery pincode. We won't guess the quote here — it depends on exactly those details — but the listed prices on this page are the ceiling for a 25 kg order today.

Diwali doesn't move. The only date in a festive plan you control is the day you pour.
— CandleMakingSuppliesIndia

If 25 kg is already too small for your plans, the next steps up are covered in buying 50 kg of soy wax and, for a much larger festive run, manufacturing 1,000 candles for Diwali.

Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies candle-making raw materials; we don't make or sell finished candles, and we don't manufacture the wax. That is why this page says plainly that no 25 kg pack is listed, shows what the listed bags add up to, and refuses to put a number on a quote we haven't given. A festive run planned on an invented price or an optimistic cure date is the kind that fails in the last week of October.

Every price, pack size and specification here comes from live CSI stock in September 2026 and links to the product page, where current pricing always takes precedence. Loads, temperatures, melting points and shelf lives are quoted only where the product page states them, and loads are wax formulation limits, not regulatory limits. The dispatch date, loss allowance, candles per melter load and shelf dimensions are labelled planning assumptions.

At CSI, no soy wax is listed as a 25 kg pack. The largest listed packs are 10 kg, plus 50 kg on Natural Soy Pearl Wax. Build 25 kg as 2 × 10 kg + 1 × 5 kg or five 5 kg bags. The Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 description mentions a 25 kg format that isn't on the listing — message CSI on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926 to ask about it.
What is the price of 25 kg of soy wax?
From listed CSI packs in September 2026: Eco Soy CSI 400 ₹9,980, Natural Soy Pearl Wax ₹10,620, Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 ₹12,685, Luxury Soy Wax Chunks ₹14,975, Soy Pillar Wax ₹15,000 and Premium Coconut Soy CSI 468 ₹15,925. Those listed per-kilo prices are the ceiling; larger or recurring orders are quoted individually on WhatsApp.
How many candles can I make from 25 kg of soy wax?
At an 8% load, 135 × 200g candles, because each contains 184g of wax. A 3% planning allowance for spills and top-ups brings that to 131, and 5% to 129. Adding a 1 kg pack of the same wax covers all 135. At 150g per candle the same 25 kg makes about 181, and oil for 135 × 200g candles at 8% is 2,160g.
When should I start pouring candles for Diwali 2026?
Diwali is on Sunday 8 November 2026. With a 21-day cure and an example last dispatch on 31 October, the latest full-cure pour is Saturday 10 October. For 135 candles, a three-wave plan pours on 26 September, 3 October and 10 October. Order materials immediately, and test any new scent now — it needs its own cure before joining a wave.
How should I store a large quantity of soy wax in hot weather?
In the coolest shaded room available, off the floor, away from roof-heated rooms, sun-facing walls and parked vehicles, with bags sealed until each wave needs them. CSI 464 and CSI 468 state a 60-month shelf life in cool, dry storage; Eco Soy CSI 400 states a melt point of 100°F (37.8°C), so it especially needs a cool spot. Cure finished candles at room temperature out of sunlight.
Is there a wholesale price for 25 kg of soy wax?
The listed per-kilo prices are the most you will pay — for most CSI soy waxes they are flat from 1 kg to 10 kg, so 25 kg from listed bags costs the same per kilo as smaller packs. For a 25 kg or recurring order, send the wax, quantity, order frequency, GST number and pincode on WhatsApp for a quote. We don't publish a figure because it depends on those details.
