Which fragrance oils cost more than ₹1,000 for 100 g? 12 in-stock 100 g bottles, mostly inspired-by perfume profiles such as Delina (Parfums De Marly Inspired), 9 PM (Afnan Inspired) and Club De Nuit Intense Inspired, plus Tangerine and Moca Coffee. Their 50 g sizes are the way in under ₹1,000.
Every tier under ₹1,000
Doubling the budget from ₹500 to ₹1,000 more than doubles the choice at 100 g, from 25 oils to 67. It also opens the tiers where most warm, woody, resinous and Indian floral profiles live. The tiers here are set on the 100 g price per gram, so they differ slightly from the kilo bands in Candle Fragrance Oil Price Per Kg in India. The biggest tier under ₹1,000 is ₹6.50 to ₹9.00 a gram, with 25 oils. That is where premium candle profiles sit: vanillas, ouds, smoke, bakhoor, patchouli, neroli and the Indian florals. Only two oils at ₹9.00 a gram or more fit under ₹1,000 at 100 g: Hawas Ice (Rasasi Inspired) at ₹908.00 and Santal Noir at ₹919.00.

A few things stand out. Verbena at ₹590.00 is one of the 24 oils with a real kilo saving, 20.0%, so it is cheap to prove at 100 g and cheaper still to scale. Citronella at ₹767.00 is the opposite of what it looks like: its 100 g is dear, but its kilo, at ₹2,891.00, is the second-cheapest in the collection. Most of the oils from ₹749.00 up are priced flat from 100 g to 1 kg, so once you prove them at 100 g there is no price reason to jump to the kilo. And several newer oils (Wild Berries, Wild Berry, Forever Red, Orange No.3, Vanilla Orange Blossom, Sparkling Fruit, Mahogany Teakwood, Coffee Vanilla Tobacco, Pink Crush, Hawas Ice, Sage and Cedarwood) have no 15 g listed, so their 50 g is the cheapest trial.
Sets under ₹1,000
The six sets below each fit under ₹1,000 using only in-stock sizes. They are examples of structure, not recommendations of scent: swap any oil for another at the same size and price tier and the arithmetic barely changes. "Oil per candle" is the blended average across the set at 16 g of oil in a 200 g candle. The value trio is the most candles for the money: three fresh and floral scents, 18.75 candles, ₹4.98 left over. The tiered trio is built for learning. One value oil at 100 g carries the volume, and two 50 g bottles from higher tiers (Lavender at ₹5.40 a gram and Raat Ki Rani at ₹7.40) let you see whether customers will pay more for a richer scent. The festive trio puts three warm profiles into 50 g bottles for a Diwali test run. The two pairs are for makers who already know their two core scents. The single premium is for a maker with a proven premium candle who needs production oil, not variety.
One premium or a small range?
This is the real decision at ₹1,000, so here it is in numbers. The comparison uses the full material cost of a 200 g candle: oil, 184 g of Luxury Soy Wax Chunks at ₹599.00 a kilo (₹110.22), an Eco Thin C1 wick (₹5.90) and a White Matte Glass Jar (₹70.80). It excludes labour, packaging, freight and GST.

The premium candle costs ₹93.97 more to make than the value-trio average, and almost all of that is fragrance. Fragrance goes from about a fifth of the material cost to nearly half. That is not a reason to avoid premium oils. It is a reason to price the premium candle for what is in it. What we cannot tell you is which one your customers will buy; we publish no sales data. What the numbers do say is that ₹1,000 on a range gives you three times as many candles to learn from. ₹1,000 on one premium oil gives you six candles and a firm answer about one scent. Twelve candles need 2,208 g of wax at 184 g each, so 2.5 kg leaves 292 g for pour loss and test burns. The oil pours six Citrus Lemon candles (4 g spare) and three each of Lavender and Raat Ki Rani (2 g spare in each), so you get three price points on the shelf at once: about ₹234.92, ₹273.32 and ₹305.32 of material per candle. Twenty wicks and fifteen jars leave spares for the next pour. Material cost excludes labour, packaging, freight and GST.
