"I have been using this melter for about 9 months now and it is simply the best. In terms of melting time, 10 kgs of wax melts in mere 20-30 minutes, the funnel is soo good, the wax is never stuck. I do not have to worry about temperatures at all, since the temperature knob does everything for me. Most of all, this is very very cost effective. Same thing is sold via ToAuto for ₹45,000 and in that too we need to get a step down converter worth ₹12,000 which is the worst thing., as the total investment then would be ₹57,000."

A spa line at production scale is a sum you can do before you order: 12 g of oil and 138 g of wax per candle, times the run. Here is that sum at 250, 500 and 1,000 units, the cheapest pack mix per scent, and how hotel and studio orders change it.
₹215.74
material cost per 150 g spa candle in a 500-unit, four-scent run, excluding labour, freight, packaging and GST · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
How much fragrance oil does a 500-candle spa run need? At 8% in a 150 g candle, 12 g per candle: 6 kg of oil for 500 units, 3 kg for 250, 12 kg for 1,000. Across a four-scent spa line (Eucalyptus Spearmint, Cucumber Green Tea, Jasmine, Sandalwood) the oil for 500 units costs ₹22,199.98 at CSI live pricing on 24 September 2026.

What does a spa candle cost to make at volume? Worked example: a 150 g Eucalyptus Spearmint candle at 8%, with 1 kg oil pricing, CSI 464 soy, a clear 150 g jar from the pack of 20 and a C1 wick from the pack of 500, is ₹207.14 in materials, excluding labour, freight, packaging and GST. The oil is 18% of that; the jar is 46%.

Is 1 kg always the right bulk size? No. For each scent, buy the cheapest pack combination that covers the run. Sandalwood is priced the same per gram from 100 g to 1 kg; Sage and Cedarwood's 1 kg is dearer per gram than two 500 g packs; and on some runs a 500 g plus a few 100 g bottles beats rounding up to another kilogram.

How do I handle massage-studio and hotel orders? Treat them as separate SKUs with their own format (70 g votives for treatment rooms, 150 g jars for rooms and retail), confirm documents before the first delivery, and hold a reorder buffer per scent instead of per order.
The short answer
The maths: 12 g oil + 138 g wax per 150 g candle at 8%. 250 units = 3 kg oil, 34.5 kg wax; 500 = 6 kg and 69 kg; 1,000 = 12 kg and 138 kg.
The line: Eucalyptus Spearmint and Cucumber Green Tea carry the volume (the two cheapest per gram at 1 kg in this line); Jasmine and Sandalwood are the softer, lower-volume scents.
The run cost: ₹56,654.48 for 250 units, ₹107,867.98 for 500, ₹215,132.98 for 1,000 (oil, wax, jars, wicks; worked example).
The B2B rule: documents on file before the first hotel or studio delivery; stock quantities confirmed on WhatsApp before you promise a date.
How much spa oil a production run needs Four-scent spa line, 150 g candles at 8% (12 g oil each). Split 36 / 30 / 20 / 14% by units. Candle counts per scent: 250 run 90/75/50/35 · 500 run 180/150/100/70 · 1,000 run 360/300/200/140. Oil only. Wax, jars and wicks are in the batch table below. All figures exclude labour, freight, packaging and GST.
Oil needed per run for a four-scent spa line, and the cheapest in-stock pack combination for each scent. Doubling the run doubles the oil, but not always the number of bottles: the pack mix changes as each scent's need crosses a 500 g or 1 kg boundary.
Straight answer
I manufacture candles and want to run a spa line at 500 units. What oil do I buy, how much, and what will the run cost?
Worked example for a four-scent spa line of 150 g candles at 8%: 180 Eucalyptus Spearmint, 150 Cucumber Green Tea, 100 Jasmine and 70 Sandalwood. That needs 6 kg of oil, bought as the cheapest in-stock pack mix per scent for ₹22,199.98; 69 kg of Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 as seven 10 kg bags (₹35,518.00); 25 packs of 20 Clear Glass Jar with Golden Lid (150 gram) (₹47,200.00); and a pack of 500 C1 Eco Candle Wicks (₹2,950.00). Run total ₹107,867.98, or ₹215.74 per candle in materials, excluding labour, freight, packaging and GST. Before you order, confirm stock quantities for each 1 kg on WhatsApp — the store shows availability, not how many units are on hand — and have MSDS and IFRA documents on file if any of the run is going to a hotel or spa client.
One line: at production scale a spa candle's cost is set by the jar and the wax as much as the oil, so plan the oil by pack mix, confirm stock by message, and let each scent's sales, not its price, decide its volume.
The volume scent, at its bulk price. Eucalyptus Spearmint 1 kg is ₹3,068.00 (₹3.07 per gram): 83 candles of 150 g at 8%, or ₹36.82 of oil per candle. Its page states up to 10% for soy and describes the oil as IFRA-certified.
Buy Eucalyptus Spearmint 1 kg — ₹3,068.00

Batch maths at 250, 500 and 1,000 units

Every spa run is the same sum: 12 g of oil, 138 g of wax, one jar, one wick. The difference is how you buy them.

We assume the 150 g candle at 8% fragrance load, load as a percentage of total weight. That is a mid-point you should have confirmed in testing, not a rule: all four oils in this line state a candle maximum of 10% for soy, and CSI 464's stated ceiling is also 10%, so a line tested at 8% has headroom but no room above 10%. If your testing chose 6%, every oil figure below falls by a quarter; at 10% it rises by a quarter. Which oils to shortlist and test before a run is covered in Buy Spa Fragrance Oils for Candle Making in India and, as a sequenced plan, in I Want to Launch a Spa Candle Collection — Which 5–10 Fragrances Should I Test Before Buying in Bulk?. This page starts where testing ends.

Oil, wax, jars and wicks for 250, 500 and 1,000 spa candles of 150 g at 8%
Run Oil needed Oil cost (pack mix) Wax (CSI 464) Jars (150 g clear) C1 wicks Run total Per candle
250 3.0 kg ₹11,401.48 34.5 kg: 3 × 10 kg + 1 × 5 kg, ₹17,759.00 13 packs of 20, ₹24,544.00 1 pack of 500, ₹2,950.00 ₹56,654.48 ₹226.62
500 6.0 kg ₹22,199.98 69 kg: 7 × 10 kg, ₹35,518.00 25 packs of 20, ₹47,200.00 1 pack of 500, ₹2,950.00 ₹107,867.98 ₹215.74
1,000 12.0 kg ₹43,796.98 138 kg: 14 × 10 kg, ₹71,036.00 50 packs of 20, ₹94,400.00 1 pack of 1000, ₹5,900.00 ₹215,132.98 ₹215.13

Three things in that table are worth a manufacturer's attention. First, the per-candle figure hardly moves between 250 and 1,000 units. CSI 464 is priced flat per gram from 1 kg to 10 kg (₹507.40 per kg, ₹5,074.00 per 10 kg), the clear jars are priced per pack of 20 at every quantity, and the C1 wicks are ₹5.90 each in every pack size. The only line that gets cheaper with scale is the oil, and only for scents whose ladders fall. Volume, on listed prices, buys convenience and continuity more than discount; for anything above these quantities, ask on WhatsApp for a bulk quote rather than assuming the list price is the ceiling.

Second, the 250-unit run carries spare wicks and jars (a pack of 500 wicks, 260 jars). That is deliberate: you will lose some candles to test pours, sinkholes and rejects, and a run with exactly 250 of everything produces fewer than 250 sellable candles. Third, the oil line includes every rounding-up to a whole pack, so the "oil needed" and the grams bought are not the same; the difference is your buffer for the next run.

Argued against our own interest: do not buy 138 kg of wax and 12 kg of oil for a first 1,000-unit run of a spa line you have not sold before. Run 250, sell through, then scale. At list prices the 1,000-unit run's per-candle cost is within a few rupees of the 250-unit run's, so the only thing a bigger first run buys you is a bigger unsold shelf if a scent underperforms. The case for how to space runs across a year is in I Want to Launch Different Candle Collections for Summer, Monsoon and Winter — How Should I Plan My Fragrance Oil Inventory?.

What one candle costs, line by line

Worked example, Eucalyptus Spearmint at production pricing: 12 g of oil at the 1 kg price (₹36.82) + 138 g of CSI 464 (₹70.02) + one clear jar from the pack of 20 (₹94.40) + one C1 wick from the pack of 500 (₹5.90) = ₹207.14. Swap in Sandalwood at its 1 kg price (₹60.32 of oil) and the candle is ₹230.64. Cucumber Green Tea at 1 kg puts ₹39.93 of oil in the candle; Jasmine ₹47.08. All figures exclude labour, freight, packaging and GST. The jar is the largest single line in every case. If a spa client wants a cheaper candle, a different vessel moves the price more than a different oil; the premium-vessel side of that trade-off is in Luxury Spa Fragrance Oils for Soy Candles.

Pack planning per scent: the cheapest way to cover a run

For each scent, the table shows the need (candles × 12 g) and the cheapest combination of in-stock sizes that covers it. We computed every combination rather than assuming "buy kilograms", because on these ladders the kilogram is not always the answer.

Pack plan per scent · cheapest in-stock combination · 24 September 2026
What to put in the cart for each run, scent by scent (100 g, 500 g and 1 kg sizes only)
Run Scent Candles Oil needed Packs to order (grams bought) Cost
250 Eucalyptus Spearmint 90 1,080 g 1 × 1 kg + 1 × 100 g (1,100 g) ₹3,422.00
250 Cucumber Green Tea 75 900 g 1 × 500 g + 4 × 100 g (900 g) ₹3,075.08

500 Cucumber Green Tea 150 1,800 g 1 × 1 kg + 1 × 500 g + 3 × 100 g (1,800 g) ₹6,049.86
500 Jasmine 100 1,200 g 2 × 500 g + 2 × 100 g (1,200 g) ₹4,782.00
500 Sandalwood 70 840 g 1 × 500 g + 4 × 100 g (900 g) ₹4,524.12
1,000 Eucalyptus Spearmint 360 4,320 g 4 × 1 kg + 4 × 100 g (4,400 g) ₹13,688.00
1,000 Cucumber Green Tea 300 3,600 g 3 × 1 kg + 1 × 500 g + 1 × 100 g (3,600 g) ₹11,999.42
1,000 Jasmine 200 2,400 g 4 × 500 g + 4 × 100 g (2,400 g) ₹9,564.00
1,000 Sandalwood 140 1,680 g 1 × 1 kg + 1 × 500 g + 2 × 100 g (1,700 g) ₹8,545.56

Three pack rules that fall out of the table

1. Where the ladder is flat, buy exactly. Sandalwood is ₹5.03 per gram at 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg alike. There is no discount for rounding up, so the plan buys close to what the run needs; where a kilogram appears, it costs exactly the same as the 500 g and 100 g bottles it replaces. Jasmine flattens from 500 g (₹3.92 per gram at 500 g and at 1 kg), so its plans are built from 500 g bottles topped up with 100 g, never a kilogram that would leave oil over.

2. Small top-ups beat an extra kilogram when the gap is small. Cucumber Green Tea's 100 g is ₹3.53 per gram against ₹3.33 at 1 kg, so a 900 g need is cheaper as 500 g + 4 × 100 g (₹3,075.08) than as a whole kilogram (₹3,327.60). Once the gap passes a few hundred grams, the next kilogram wins again. On Eucalyptus Spearmint the 1 kg is 13.3% cheaper per gram than the 100 g, so kilograms win sooner.

3. Watch the scents where the kilogram is dearer. Not in this line, but common in spa ranges: Sage and Cedarwood Fragrance Oil costs ₹6,867.60 for 1 kg and ₹2,584.20 for 500 g, so two 500 g packs are ₹1,699.20 cheaper than one kilogram. If you add it as a fifth, woody scent, never order its 1 kg without asking first. Per-gram ladders for every spa oil are in Spa Fragrance Oils Wholesale in India.

Round up by scent, not by run
Work out each scent's grams separately, then round each one to packs. Rounding the whole 6 kg run to "six 1 kg bottles split however" either leaves one scent short or forces a 1 kg of a scent that only needed 840 g.

The four production oils

Two scents to carry volume, two to carry the range. That is a production spa line.

Chosen for a manufacturer, not a boutique: each has a stated candle load, every size is in stock on 24 September 2026, and two of the four are among the lowest per-gram oils CSI sells at 1 kg. Ranking spa oils for a curated collection is a different exercise, done in Best Fragrance Oils for a Spa Candle Collection; here the question is which oils can carry hundreds of units without a supply or price surprise.

1
cool aromatic · volume scent · treatment rooms
Eucalyptus Spearmint Fragrance Oil
The cheapest-to-run spa scent in the line and, in our judgement, the note many buyers mean by "spa". The page describes "crisp eucalyptus with cool spearmint", states "Recommended fragrance load up to 10% for soy wax, up to 6% for paraffin", and describes it as "A refreshing, IFRA-certified eucalyptus spearmint fragrance oil". The ladder falls at every size, to ₹3.07 per gram at 1 kg. Over 1,000 candles, buying it at the 1 kg price rather than the 50 g price is ₹14,160.00 less in oil. Limitation: it is CSI's only eucalyptus- or mint-led oil, so if a client dislikes it there is no second one to switch to.
Size Price Per gram 150 g candles at 8%
15 gm ₹68.44 ₹4.56 1
50 gm ₹212.40 ₹4.25 4
100 gm ₹354.00 ₹3.54 8
500 gm ₹1,652.00 ₹3.30 41
1 kg ₹3,068.00 ₹3.07 83
Oil per 8% candle: ₹36.82 at 1 kg, ₹50.98 at 50 g. Buy Eucalyptus Spearmint
2
fresh green · volume scent · reception and retail
Cucumber Green Tea
The fresh-tea scent that, in our judgement, reads "clean spa" to many buyers. Stated notes: "Top Notes: Crisp cucumber, fresh green tea leaves | Heart Notes: Delicate jasmine, hints of lemon | Base Notes: Clean musk, light woods". The page says "we recommend using 8-10% fragrance oil per pound of wax"; we apply that as 8–10% of total candle weight and stay within 10%. 500 g and 1 kg are both ₹3.33 per gram, so a manufacturer can hold it in 500 g units without paying more per gram. Limitation: the page carries no IFRA wording, so request the documents before a hotel delivery, and its fresh top is the note most likely to fade in a long burn; test at 8% and 10%.
Size Price Per gram 150 g candles at 8%
15 gm ₹93.22 ₹6.21 1
50 gm ₹176.41 ₹3.53 4
100 gm ₹352.82 ₹3.53 8
500 gm ₹1,663.80 ₹3.33 41
1 kg ₹3,327.60 ₹3.33 83
Oil per 8% candle at 500 g or 1 kg: ₹39.93. 1 kg is 5.7% below 100 g per gram. Buy Cucumber Green Tea
3
white floral · range scent · evening and gifting
Jasmine Fragrance Oil
A soft white floral for the evening or gift end of a spa range, and one of the lower-cost florals CSI sells at bulk sizes. The page describes it as "sweet, floral, and slightly musky with a timeless luxurious aroma" and states "Recommended load up to 10% soy, up to 6% paraffin". Jasmine also sits naturally with the Indian spa and salon market, where a jasmine candle needs no explanation. Limitation: "sweet" is on the page, so at 10% it can tip from spa into perfume; test 6% and 8% first. No IFRA wording on the page; request documents.
Size Price Per gram 150 g candles at 8%
15 gm ₹103.00 ₹6.87 1
50 gm ₹230.00 ₹4.60 4
100 gm ₹430.00 ₹4.30 8
500 gm ₹1,961.00 ₹3.92 41
1 kg ₹3,923.00 ₹3.92 83
Oil per 8% candle at 1 kg: ₹47.08. 500 g and 1 kg are both ₹3.92 per gram. Buy Jasmine
4
woody · range scent · the grounding base
Sandalwood Fragrance Oil
The clean-wood candle that stops a spa line reading as all fresh. The page calls it a "warm, creamy, luxurious single-note sandalwood fragrance oil with a smooth woody aroma and subtle earthy undertone" and states "Recommended load up to 10% for soy, up to 6% for paraffin". For a manufacturer its useful quirk is the flat ladder: ₹5.03 per gram from 100 g to 1 kg, so you can buy it to the gram without penalty. Limitation: the dearest oil in this line per gram at bulk, and a single note with no top, so it sells as the "wood" candle, not as a fresh one.
Size Price Per gram 150 g candles at 8%
15 gm ₹93.22 ₹6.21 1
50 gm ₹271.40 ₹5.43 4
100 gm ₹502.68 ₹5.03 8
500 gm ₹2,513.40 ₹5.03 41
1 kg ₹5,026.80 ₹5.03 83
Oil per 8% candle at 100 g to 1 kg: ₹60.32. Buy Sandalwood
Adding a fifth scent? Lavender Fragrance Oil is a natural choice for an evening spa candle, with a stated load of 6–10% and IFRA-certified wording on its page; it is priced at ₹5.22 per gram at 1 kg. Add it at the 250-unit stage, not the 1,000, until it has proved it sells alongside Jasmine rather than instead of it.

Massage-studio, salon and hotel orders

Retail buys a scent. A spa client buys the same scent, every month, in the same room.

B2B spa orders behave differently from retail. The client wants one or two scents, the same format repeatedly, delivered on a schedule, and may ask for paperwork. The oil maths is identical; what changes is format, frequency and what you must confirm before you commit.

B2B spa orders · formats, scents and what to confirm
How each client type buys, and the question to settle before the first delivery
Client Typical format Scent pattern Order rhythm Confirm before delivery
Massage or therapy studio 70 g votives for treatment rooms One signature, for example Eucalyptus Spearmint or Jasmine Monthly, steady Burn time in the room, open-flame rules on the premises, label wording
Salon or nail studio 150 g jars at reception, sometimes retail Fresh: Cucumber Green Tea Quarterly Retail labelling if they resell
Boutique hotel or homestay 150 g jars for rooms or lobby; amenity sizes One house scent plus one seasonal Quarterly, possibly heavier in the Indian winter season MSDS and IFRA documents, GST invoice, consistent batch
Corporate wellness gifting 150 g jars in gift packaging Two or three scents in one box Seasonal spikes: Diwali, year-end Fixed delivery date, packaging, documents

Worked example: a massage studio on a monthly votive order

A studio with six treatment rooms orders 60 × 70 g Eucalyptus Spearmint votives a month. At 8%, each votive is 5.6 g of oil and 64.4 g of wax. Material cost: ₹17.18 of oil at the 1 kg price + ₹32.68 of CSI 464 + one Clear Glass Votive Jar 70 gram from the pack of 10 (₹31.86) + one C1 wick (₹5.90) = ₹87.62 per votive, or ₹5,257.04 for the month, excluding labour, freight, packaging and GST. The month uses 336 g of oil; one 500 g bottle (₹1,652.00) covers 89 votives, so a single 1 kg covers almost three months. Hold the kilogram, reorder at the last 500 g.

Worked example: a boutique hotel's quarterly order

A 40-room property orders 140 × 150 g Cucumber Green Tea candles a quarter (rooms plus lobby). Oil: 1,680 g, bought as 1 × 1 kg + 1 × 500 g + 2 × 100 g for ₹5,697.04. Add two 10 kg bags of CSI 464 (140 candles need 19.3 kg), seven packs of 20 clear jars and two packs of 100 C1 wicks: ₹30,241.04 in materials, ₹216.01 per candle before labour, freight, packaging and GST. Cucumber Green Tea's page carries no IFRA wording, so for a hotel client request the MSDS and IFRA documents before the first delivery, not after the first query.

Mistake: quoting a spa client a scent you cannot keep supplying. Fix: quote only oils where you have confirmed stock depth at 1 kg or 500 g, and tell the client in writing that the scent is made from a named fragrance oil (not an essential oil) and carries no health claims. A B2B client who later hears "we changed supplier" will notice the scent change before you tell them.
Label the B2B candle properly
Studio and hotel candles still need safety labelling on the jar or base. A Candle Care Stickers Roll of 500 is ₹413.00, or ₹0.83 per candle. Keep the scent name descriptive (Eucalyptus & Mint, Green Tea) and never use a real spa's or hotel's name on your label.

Running a production batch, step by step

A 500-unit run of a four-scent line, done as four scent batches rather than one long day. The steps assume CSI 464 and a melter or pouring set-up that handles 10 kg at a time; the wax page states melt and pour at 80–90°C and up to 10% load.

1
Freeze the formula before you orderWrite down, per scent, the load, wick and jar that passed your test burns. If any scent has not been burn-tested in the production jar, pour a test batch of 10 first. Production is not where you discover the wick is wrong; see the Candle Wicks collection and run a melt-pool test.
2
Order by scent, confirm by messagePut the pack plan above in the cart, then message CSI on WhatsApp with the list to confirm quantities on hand and a dispatch date. Ask for the GST invoice and, for B2B runs, the MSDS and IFRA documents.
3
Batch in 10 kg meltsA 10 kg melt at 8% is 9.2 kg of wax and 800 g of oil, about 66 candles of 150 g. Weigh the oil for each melt on a scale; do not split a bottle by eye. Keep one scent per melt and clean the jug between scents so fresh oils do not pick up a floral trace.
4
Label with a batch codeEvery jar gets scent, batch code and pour date on the base. When a hotel client reports a weak candle in March, the batch code tells you which melt, which oil bottle and which day.
5
Pull retained samplesKeep two candles per batch unsold. Burn one at day 7; keep one for complaints. That is 8 candles out of a 500-unit run, and the cheapest quality system you will ever buy.
6
Cure before dispatchNone of the four oil pages states a cure time; at least 48–72 hours is common practice and longer is common for soy. Test a retained candle at day 3 and day 7 and dispatch on the day your test says, not the day the client asks.
7
Close the run with a countRecord grams of each oil left, candles poured, rejects and retained samples per scent. That sheet is your reorder data for the next run.

For runs that outgrow a stovetop set-up, the WAX MELTER FOR CANDLE MAKING is listed at 10 kg capacity (₹21,240.00) and 20 kg (₹25,960.00). It is a capital purchase, not a material cost, and only worth it if you are running several hundred candles a month.

Inventory: reorder points and what not to stockpile

Inventory is not the oil on your shelf. It is the number of weeks that oil covers.

A manufacturer's spa inventory should be counted in candles-of-cover per scent, not in kilograms. One kilogram is 83 candles at 8% in 150 g; a 500 g is 41. Set a reorder point per scent from your sales rate and your lead time, and reorder when the shelf drops to it.

Reorder logic per scent · worked example for a 500-unit quarter
Hold the volume scents in kilograms and the range scents in 500 g
Scent Units a quarter Oil a quarter Hold as Reorder when on hand falls to
Eucalyptus Spearmint 180 2,160 g 1 kg bottles 1 kg (about 83 candles: one month plus lead time)
Cucumber Green Tea 150 1,800 g 500 g or 1 kg (same per gram) 1 kg
Jasmine 100 1,200 g 500 g (same per gram as 1 kg) 500 g
Sandalwood 70 840 g 500 g and 100 g (flat from 100 g) 500 g

The reorder points are worked-example judgement: roughly a month's sales plus a margin for dispatch and delivery, which depends on your location, so confirm the dispatch date on WhatsApp each time rather than assuming last time's. CSI does not publish shelf life for these oils, and neither will we. Store oil sealed, cool and out of sunlight, write the delivery date on every bottle, use the oldest first, and cold-sniff any bottle that has been open for months against a fresh one before it goes into a run.

Argued against our own interest: do not stockpile a spa scent because the kilogram looks cheap. On Cucumber Green Tea, Jasmine and Sandalwood, the 500 g is the same price per gram as the 1 kg, so a second kilogram on the shelf saves nothing and ties up money. Even on Eucalyptus Spearmint, where the 1 kg is cheapest, a quarter's worth is enough. We sell the kilograms; we would still rather you bought them four times a year than once.
Diwali 8 November 2026 — a major gifting date. A 1,000-unit spa gifting run needs 12 kg of oil, 138 kg of wax and 1,000 jars, about ₹215,132.98 in materials on list prices. Allow for cure and packing: order oils and wax by early October, pour mid-October, dispatch by the end of the month. Ask us on WhatsApp for stock quantities, a bulk quote and dispatch dates.

The CSI principle
Buy by the scent, not by the run.
Each oil in a spa line has its own ladder, its own sales rate and its own reorder point. Plan them separately and the run takes care of itself.
"At a thousand candles, the oil is not the expensive part. The expensive part is a kilogram of the wrong oil."

Why trust this guide

CandleMakingSuppliesIndia sells the oils, wax, jars and wicks in these batch plans, and does not sell finished candles. The page tells you to run 250 before 1,000, to buy exactly where the ladder is flat, and not to stockpile kilograms, because that is how we would run a spa line ourselves.

Every price, pack size and per-gram figure was taken from CSI's live store and verified on 24 September 2026. All four production oils were in stock at every listed size on that date; the store shows availability, not quantity, so confirm quantities before a large run. Pack plans are computed from listed sizes only.

The unit splits, B2B examples, reorder points and batch steps are worked examples and judgement, not client data. For bulk pricing beyond list, GST invoicing, and MSDS and IFRA documentation on request, message us on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926.

Frequently asked questions

How much fragrance oil do I need for 1,000 candles?
For 150 g candles at 8% fragrance load, 12 g per candle: 12 kg for 1,000 candles, with 138 kg of wax. At 6% it is 9 kg of oil; at 10%, 15 kg. Stay within the lower of the wax ceiling and the oil page's stated maximum (10% for CSI 464 and the spa oils here).
What is the cheapest spa fragrance oil to buy in bulk in India?
In this spa line, Eucalyptus Spearmint at ₹3.07 per gram at 1 kg (₹3,068.00), then Cucumber Green Tea at ₹3.33 per gram at 500 g or 1 kg. Per-candle oil at 8% is ₹36.82 and ₹39.93 respectively. Cheapest per gram is not the same as best-selling; let your sales decide volume.
Should candle manufacturers buy fragrance oil in 1 kg or 500 g?
Check the ladder per oil. Where the 1 kg is cheaper per gram (Eucalyptus Spearmint), buy kilograms for volume scents. Where 500 g and 1 kg cost the same per gram (Cucumber Green Tea, Jasmine, Sandalwood from 100 g), buy what the run needs. Where the 1 kg is dearer (Sage and Cedarwood), buy 500 g packs.
What does it cost to make a spa candle in bulk?
Worked example: a 150 g Eucalyptus Spearmint candle at 8% in CSI 464 soy with a clear 150 g jar and C1 wick costs ₹207.14 in materials at production pack prices, excluding labour, freight, packaging and GST. A 500-unit four-scent run is ₹107,867.98, ₹215.74 per candle.
What candles do massage studios and spas order?
Usually small votives (such as 70 g) in one signature scent for treatment rooms, ordered monthly, and 150 g jars for reception or retail. Hotels order 150 g jars quarterly and often ask for MSDS and IFRA documents and a GST invoice. Label the scent descriptively and make no health claims.
How do I know if CSI has enough stock for a bulk candle order?
The store shows whether each size is in stock, not how many units. For any run above a few kilograms, send the oil list, sizes and quantities on WhatsApp (+91 7397976926) and ask for confirmation and a dispatch date before you pay or promise a client date.

About this guide: the bulk-manufacturer page in CSI's spa and wellness cluster. It sets out batch maths for a four-scent spa line at 250, 500 and 1,000 units, pack planning per scent, B2B order examples for massage studios and hotels, and inventory reorder logic. It does not name or imitate any real spa or hotel and makes no health claims.

Non-price figures: candle maths assume a 150 g candle with load as a percentage of total weight (8% = 12 g oil + 138 g wax); 70 g votive at 8% = 5.6 g oil + 64.4 g wax; candle counts are floor(grams ÷ 12). Wax ceiling: Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464 up to 10%, melt and pour 80–90°C, as stated by the wax page; a formulation limit, not a regulatory limit. Unit splits, client examples and reorder points are worked examples. Per-candle costs exclude labour, freight, packaging and GST. Diwali (8 November 2026) is a calendar date; the Indian winter season is approximate.
