The bakery palette, priced per gram

The bakery palette has six slots: vanilla, cinnamon, apple cinnamon, pumpkin spice, roasted coconut and chocolate fudge. The table fills each slot with the CSI oil that carries it, plus Mahogany Shea, the nuttier coconut that stands in the case because Roasted Coconut has no 500 g, and prices it at every size on 24 September 2026. Alternatives in each slot

Cinnamon Vanilla deserves a note: at ₹4.55 per gram at 1 kg it is 16.1% cheaper than its own 50 g and far cheaper than straight vanilla. If your bakery range needs a vanilla note but not a plain vanilla candle, it is the budget route. Spicy Cinnamon costs more than Cinnamon Fragrance Oil at bulk and states no candle load, so it is a second-round test, not a volume buy.

Twins, flats and one steep drop

The twins: Pumpkin Spice and Cinnamon Fragrance Oil

Both are ₹106.20 at 15 g, ₹330.40 at 50 g, ₹590.00 at 100 g, ₹2,950.00 at 500 g and ₹5,310.00 at 1 kg. Their ladders step down twice: 10.7% at 100 g, then nothing at 500 g (still ₹5.90), then 10.0% at 1 kg. That shape makes the 100 g the smart test-to-production bridge and the 1 kg the only real bulk buy. Because the prices match exactly, choose between them purely on scent and on what your range needs: Pumpkin Spice brings fruit, clove and caramelised sugar; Cinnamon Fragrance Oil is the single spice.

The flats: Apple Cinnamon, Chocolate Fudge, Mahogany Shea

Apple Cinnamon is ₹4.74 per gram at 50 g, 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg. Chocolate Fudge is ₹3.96 at 50 g, 500 g and 1000 g (the 100 g is out of stock). Mahogany Shea is ₹4.89 from 100 g up. For these three, the 1 kg saves nothing at all per gram. The only penalty is at the small end: the 15 g of Apple Cinnamon is 31% dearer per gram than its 50 g, and Chocolate Fudge's 15 g is 57% dearer.

The steep drop: Mahogany Shea's small sizes

Mahogany Shea's 15 g is ₹164.02, which is ₹10.93 per gram, 124% dearer than its 100 g. Its 50 g is 35% dearer per gram than the 100 g. If Mahogany Shea is on your test list, skip the 15 g and 50 g and buy the 100 g (₹488.52): eight candles at 8%, at the same per-gram price as the 1 kg.

Roasted coconut: one oil, no 500 g

A toasted or roasted coconut note is a classic bakery ask, and CSI lists one: Roasted Coconut Fragrance Oil. Its page describes "toasted coconut and coconut milk top notes, caramelised sugar and praline heart, and vanilla bean, tonka and sandalwood base", states "candles (up to 10%)", describes the oil as "phthalate-free" (the page's wording) and says "Cure soy wax candles for 48-72 hours before burn testing". On 24 September 2026 it is listed at 15 g ₹93.00, 50 g ₹247.00, 100 g ₹495.00 and 1 kg ₹3,999.00, every size in stock, with no 500 g. The 1 kg is ₹4.00 per gram, 19.0% below the 50 g: ₹47.99 of oil per 8% candle against ₹59.28 at the 50 g price. The missing 500 g is why it sits outside the six-oil case below, which is priced at 100 g, 500 g and 1 kg of every oil. If roasted coconut is your bakery hero, swap it in for Mahogany Shea: the 100 g case becomes ₹3,335.84 and the 1 kg case ₹30,973.40. Peach Melon Berry's page states its load "per weight of wax"; the other loads in this series are applied as a percentage of total candle weight, so treat that wording carefully and test within the wax ceiling. The honest limitation of Roasted Coconut: with no 500 g, a buyer who outgrows the 100 g (8 candles at 8%) has to jump to the 1 kg (83 candles), so prove it sells before that step, and ask on WhatsApp about stock before you promise a customer date. We would rather tell you that than sell you Mango Coconut as a bakery note.

Six bakery oils to buy wholesale

Ranked for a wholesale bakery buyer on: stated candle load, stock depth at 500 g and 1 kg, per-gram price at bulk, and how much the price falls with size. We have no throw measurements and do not rank on strength. Candle counts assume 150 g at 8% (12 g of oil).

The mixed bakery case at three sizes

A "case" here means one pack of each of the six picks. The 100 g case uses two 50 g of Chocolate Fudge because its 100 g is out of stock.

Going from the 500 g case to the 1 kg case halves nothing but your number of orders. Twelve 500 g packs (two of each oil) cost ₹33,073.60; six 1 kg packs cost ₹31,859.60. The ₹1,214.00 difference is entirely Pumpkin Spice and Cinnamon (₹590.00 each) plus ₹34.00 on Vanilla Bean. Chocolate Fudge, Apple Cinnamon and Mahogany Shea contribute nothing.

A leaner case that captures the saving

If Cinnamon is your volume spice, one practical mix is Cinnamon at 1 kg with Pumpkin Spice, Chocolate Fudge and Apple Cinnamon at 500 g each: ₹12,614.20. You take the one real bulk discount on the spice you sell most and keep the flat-priced oils at a size you will empty. Before any case, a three-oil sample (Apple Cinnamon, Chocolate Fudge, Pumpkin Spice at 50 g) is ₹765.82.

Wax for the 500 g case

246 candles at 8% need 33,948 g of wax. In Luxury Soy Wax CSI 464, priced flat at ₹0.51 per gram from 1 kg to 10 kg, three 10 kg bags and five 1 kg bags come to ₹17,759.00. Luxury Soy Wax Chunks are ₹0.60 per gram at 10 kg and state a ceiling of up to 13%, which only matters for an oil that states a higher load; none of the six picks goes above 10%.
