CSI does not sell a professional fragrance collection as a pack. A small business does not need one: it needs a range with a structure. Core scents you never run out of, seasonal scents you buy for a window and sell through, and a few premium scents that sit at the top of the price list.
₹18,773.40
a 13-oil professional collection: six core oils at 500 g, four seasonal at 100 g, three premium at 100 g / 50 g · 3,650 g of oil · CSI live pricing, September 2026
Quick answers — read this first
Does CSI sell a professional fragrance oil collection? No. There is no collection pack, combo or fragrance starter kit on the store. You build the collection from single oils, in the sizes each tier needs; CSI will quote it with a GST invoice on WhatsApp.

How should a small business structure its fragrance range? In three tiers. Core: year-round scents, bought big, never out of stock. Seasonal: bought for a window such as Diwali or the wedding season, and sold through. Premium: a few high-cost scents, bought small and priced high.

What does the collection cost? ₹18,773.40 for the full version: core ₹13,929.40, seasonal ₹2,528.00, premium ₹2,316.00. A smaller-scale version with core at 100 g costs ₹6,163.92.

What does a candle cost in each tier? For a 200 g candle at 8%, material cost averages ₹261.21 in core, ₹288.04 in seasonal and ₹342.33 in premium. See the three tiers.
The short answer
Plainly: CSI sells no fragrance collection pack. A professional collection is built from single oils, tier by tier. Volume pricing beyond listed packs is quoted on WhatsApp; no discount figure is published.
Core: Lavender, British Rose, Sandalwood, Honeydew Melon, Cucumber Green Tea, Dark Vanilla at 500 g each = ₹13,929.40.
Seasonal + premium: Pumpkin Spice, Spicy Cinnamon, Autumn, Saffron Cedarwood at 100 g = ₹2,528.00 · Santal Noir 100 g, Smoked Rose Royale 100 g, Delina (Parfums De Marly Inspired) 50 g = ₹2,316.00. Margin bands explains pricing by cost.
A professional collection in three tiers — core, seasonal, premium The collection by tier: what each tier holds, what size it is bought in, and its share of the order. PREMIUM 3 oils · 100 g / 50 g · priced high, small batches ₹2,316.00 · 250 g · 12.3% of the order SEASONAL 4 oils · 100 g · bought for the window, sold through ₹2,528.00 · 400 g · 13.5% of the order CORE 6 oils · 500 g · never out of stock ₹13,929.40 · 3,000 g · 74.2% of the order Whole collection ₹18,773.40 · 3,650 g of oil · about 228 candles of 200 g at 8%
Core is 74.2% of the money and 82.2% of the oil, because it carries the year-round volume. Seasonal and premium together are under a quarter of the order. That is the shape of a working collection: most of the money in scents that sell every month, and a smaller, deliberate spend on scents with a season or a price point of their own.
Straight answer
What is a professional candle fragrance oil collection for a small business, and can I buy one ready-made?
CSI does not sell a ready-made professional fragrance collection, and it lists no fragrance combo pack, sample pack or starter kit. A small business builds its collection from single oils, and the useful way to build it is in three tiers, each bought in the size its job demands. The core tier is the year-round range that must never run out: here six oils at 500 g each — Lavender, British Rose, Sandalwood, Honeydew Melon, Cucumber Green Tea and Dark Vanilla — for ₹13,929.40. The seasonal tier is bought for a selling window, such as Diwali on 8 November and the November–February wedding season, and sold through: Pumpkin Spice, Spicy Cinnamon, Autumn and Saffron Cedarwood at 100 g, ₹2,528.00. The premium tier is a few high-cost scents bought small and priced high: Santal Noir and Smoked Rose Royale at 100 g and Delina (Parfums De Marly Inspired) at 50 g, ₹2,316.00. The whole collection is ₹18,773.40 for 3,650 g of oil, about 228 candles of 200 g at 8%. A smaller-scale version costs ₹6,163.92.
One line: core never runs out, seasonal sells through, premium stays small — buy each tier in the size that fits its job.
The core tier is where the money goes: Lavender ₹2,620.00, British Rose ₹1,593.00, Sandalwood ₹2,513.40, Honeydew Melon ₹1,699.20, Cucumber Green Tea ₹1,663.80 and Dark Vanilla ₹3,840.00, all 500 g. That is ₹13,929.40 for 3 kg, about 187 candles of 200 g at 8%.

Why a collection needs tiers

A combo is a set of scents. A collection is a set of decisions about how each scent is bought, stocked and priced.

Start with the plain fact: CSI does not sell a professional fragrance collection. No ready-made set exists on the store, and there is no fragrance combo pack or sample pack either. What CSI lists is 93 oils sold singly, 64 of them in stock at 500 g and 73 at 1 kg on the pull date. A small business builds its own collection from those, and the useful question is how to structure it.

Most small candle businesses buy every scent the same way: the same size, reordered when it runs out. That works for six scents. It stops working at twelve or fifteen, because the scents are doing different jobs. Some sell every week of the year. Some sell hard for six weeks before Diwali and then stop. Some sell slowly at a high price to a particular customer. Buying them all the same way means running out of the first kind, carrying leftovers of the second and tying up money in the third. Tiers fix that by giving each scent a buying rule.

Three tiers, three buying rules
How each tier is bought, stocked and priced
Tier Job Buy at Stock rule Pricing
Core Year-round volume; the scents customers reorder 500 g or 1 kg Never out of stock; reorder at a fixed level Your standard price
Seasonal A selling window: Diwali, winter, the wedding season 100 g (50 g for a first season) Buy for the window, sell through, do not carry over Standard or a small festive premium
Premium Top of the price list; gifting and special orders Smallest size that fits demand, usually 100 g or 50 g Small batches; reorder only against orders Priced for the oil

The tiers are a planning structure, not a claim about which scents sell. CSI does not publish sales figures and this page does not invent any. The core oils here include several near the top of the Fragrance Oils collection's best-selling sort on the pull date — Lavender first, British Rose second, Dark Vanilla fourth and Sandalwood sixth — which is a store sort order and a reasonable signal, nothing more. Your own sales data should decide your core within a few months. Which Candle Fragrance Oils Should I Always Keep in Stock? discusses which scents to keep in stock.

Total 3,650 g ₹18,773.40 ₹5.14 228.12

Material cost here is 16 g of oil at the size bought, plus 184 g of Luxury Soy Wax Chunks (₹110.22), an Eco Thin C1 wick (₹5.90) and a White Matte Glass Jar (₹70.80), a base of ₹186.92. It excludes labour, packaging, freight and GST. The tier averages are ₹261.21 for core, ₹288.04 for seasonal and ₹342.33 for premium. Core is cheapest per candle partly because it is bought at 500 g, and partly because three of its six oils are value oils; Dark Vanilla is the deliberate exception, a core gourmand at ₹7.68 a gram.

Argued against our own interest, plainly. We could tell you to buy the whole core tier at 1 kg. It would cost ₹27,687.80 instead of ₹13,929.40, and for most of these oils it would save almost nothing per gram: Sandalwood is ₹5.03 at both 500 g and 1 kg, Honeydew Melon ₹3.40 at both, Cucumber Green Tea ₹3.33 at both, and Lavender ₹5.24 against ₹5.22. Only British Rose moves meaningfully (₹3.19 to ₹3.07). Buy the kilo when a core scent's usage means you would otherwise reorder 500 g every few weeks, not for a discount that is mostly not there.

Core: bought big, never out

Running out of a core scent does not cost you the price of the oil. It costs you the customer who came back for it.

The core tier's only job is to be there. Buy it in a size that lasts several weeks, and reorder at a fixed level rather than when the bottle is empty. A simple working rule: work out how many candles of each core scent you pour in a typical month, multiply by 16 g, and reorder when what is left would cover two weeks. The table below shows the rule for three illustrative monthly volumes; the volumes are assumptions, not forecasts.

Core scent reorder points · 200 g candle · 8% · illustrative volumes
How long 500 g lasts, and when to reorder
Candles per month (one scent) Oil per month 500 g lasts Reorder when this much is left (2 weeks' use) Consider the 1 kg when…
10 160 g About 3 months 80 g Rarely worth it
20 320 g About 6 weeks 160 g You would reorder 500 g about every 6 weeks
40 640 g About 3 weeks 320 g Now: 1 kg lasts about 6 weeks

Two weeks is a working buffer, not a delivery promise. CSI does not publish delivery times, so set the buffer from your own experience of ordering and ask on WhatsApp when you need a firmer date. Before festive peaks, widen it. How to Set Reorder Levels for Candle Fragrance Oils covers reorder levels in detail, and How to Avoid Running Out of Best-Selling Candle Fragrances covers keeping best sellers in stock.

Seasonal: bought for a window

Seasonal scents are bought to be sold through. The Indian candle calendar gives a small business two strong windows close together: Diwali on 8 November 2026, and the November–February wedding season with its return gifts and winter gifting. The seasonal tier here leans warm and spiced for those months. Buy each at 100 g for a known window; buy 50 g the first time you run a scent, to find out whether it earns a place.

Seasonal tier · CSI live pricing, pulled 24 September 2026
Four seasonal oils, first season and repeat season
Oil First season (50 g) Repeat season (100 g) Candles at 100 g Material cost per candle
Pumpkin Spice ₹330.40 ₹590.00 6.25 ₹281.32
Spicy Cinnamon ₹349.00 ₹699.00 6.25 ₹298.76
Autumn ₹271.40 ₹542.80 6.25 ₹273.76
Saffron Cedarwood ₹354.00 ₹696.20 6.25 ₹298.31
Tier total ₹1,304.80 ₹2,528.00 25 ₹288.04

Pumpkin Spice and Spicy Cinnamon both have 1 kg packs that are cheaper per gram than their 100 g (10.0% and 7.0%), but seasonal oil is the last place to buy a kilo: whatever is left in February waits until October. If a seasonal scent sells so well that you need more than 500 g of it every season, that is a sign it has become core. Plan the window backwards from Diwali: When Should Candle Businesses Order Fragrance Oils for Diwali Production? covers when to order for festive production, and Diwali Fragrance Oil Collection for Candle Businesses builds a Diwali collection in full.

Carry-over is a cost
Seasonal oil left over after the window is money you will not see again until next year, in a bottle that has been opened. Buy the seasonal tier to sell through. If you are unsure, buy 50 g and reorder mid-window rather than buying 500 g in September.

Premium: bought small, priced high

The premium tier gives the collection a top shelf: scents for gifting clients, special orders and customers who ask for something distinctive. They are the dearest oils in the collection per gram, from ₹7.99 to ₹11.96, so they are bought small and priced for the oil. Two of the three have size quirks worth knowing. Smoked Rose Royale starts at 100 g; there is no smaller size. Delina (Parfums De Marly Inspired) is an inspired-by profile listed from 50 g, and its 50 g, 100 g and 1 kg are priced almost exactly the same per gram, so there is no reason to buy more than you have orders for.

3
Premium · woody · every size in stock
Santal Noir Fragrance Oil
A dark sandalwood profile and the only premium oil here listed at every size from 15 g to 1 kg, which makes it easy to test before committing. It drops from ₹9.98 a gram at 50 g to ₹9.19 at 100 g, then stays flat.
Pack Price Per gram Candles at 16 g
15 g ₹166.00 ₹11.07 0.94
50 g ₹499.00 ₹9.98 3.12
100 g ₹919.00 ₹9.19 6.25
500 g ₹4,599.00 ₹9.20 31.25
1 kg ₹9,120.00 ₹9.12 62.50
₹333.96 material cost per candle at 100 g Buy Santal Noir
The collection mistake: a premium tier that outgrows the core. Premium scents are the most enjoyable to buy and the easiest to over-buy. When the premium tier holds more oil than a slow seller needs, money sits in the dearest bottles on the shelf while a core scent runs out. Keep premium to two or three oils, buy each at its smallest listed size, and reorder only against orders. Here the premium tier is 12.3% of the collection's cost; if yours creeps past a quarter, trim it.
The CSI principle
Buy each tier in the size its job needs.
Core is bought big because it must never run out. Seasonal is bought to the window because leftovers wait a year. Premium is bought small because it sells slowly and costs the most. One size for every scent is how collections end up out of the best sellers and full of last season's spice.
Diwali falls on 8 November 2026. If your collection is going into the festive season, order the seasonal tier now and top up the core before the rush. CSI will quote the whole collection with a GST invoice, check stock on every line, and send MSDS and IFRA documentation on request.

Two scales of the same collection

Not every small business pours 180 candles a month. The same thirteen scents can be bought at a smaller scale, with core at 100 g, seasonal at 50 g and premium at its smallest listed size. The structure stays; only the sizes change.

Same thirteen oils · CSI live pricing, pulled 24 September 2026

The smaller scale holds a quarter of the oil for 32.8% of the money, because 100 g is dearer per gram than 500 g for several core oils. British Rose, for example, is ₹3.42 at 100 g against ₹3.19 at 500 g. Start small if you are still learning your volumes, and move each core scent to 500 g as its reorder frequency tells you to.

Why trust this guide

CANDLEMAKINGSUPPLIESINDIA supplies raw materials, not finished candles. We do not sell a professional fragrance collection as a pack, and this page says so first. It then builds one from oils we stock and tells you, against our own interest, that the kilo is usually not the cheaper way to buy the core tier.

Oil and wax prices on this page come from live CSI listings pulled on 24 September 2026. Wick and jar prices are those verified for Blog 760 on 10 September 2026. Every tier total, per-gram figure and per-candle cost is plain arithmetic on those prices, to two decimals. "Best-selling" refers to the collection's sort order on the pull date, not to sales figures.

The tier structure, the monthly volumes, the two-week buffer and the 200 g / 8% candle are working assumptions for planning, not forecasts or delivery promises. For a quote on the full collection, a GST invoice, restock dates, or MSDS and IFRA documentation, message us on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926.

Frequently asked questions

What fragrance oils should a small candle business stock?
A core of year-round scents, a seasonal set for your selling windows and a few premium scents. This page's core is Lavender, British Rose, Sandalwood, Honeydew Melon, Cucumber Green Tea and Dark Vanilla; seasonal is Pumpkin Spice, Spicy Cinnamon, Autumn and Saffron Cedarwood; premium is Santal Noir, Smoked Rose Royale and Delina (Parfums De Marly Inspired). Is there a professional candle fragrance collection available in India?
CSI does not sell a collection pack. You build one from single oils; CSI will check stock and quote the whole collection with a GST invoice on WhatsApp at +91 7397976926.
How many fragrance oils should a small candle business have?
Twelve to fifteen is manageable if they are tiered: six or so core, three to five seasonal, two or three premium. Fewer if you cannot keep the core in stock.
Should I buy candle fragrance oil in 500 g or 1 kg?
For most oils the per-gram price is the same or within a few paise at 500 g and 1 kg. Buy the kilo when usage means you would reorder 500 g every few weeks, or when the oil is one of the few with a real kilo saving, such as British Rose.
How much fragrance oil should I keep in stock for my candle business?
For each core scent, at least two weeks of use as a working buffer: candles per month × 16 g ÷ 2 for 200 g candles at 8%. How Much Fragrance Oil Inventory Should a Candle Manufacturer Keep? covers inventory levels in full.
What are good seasonal candle fragrances for Diwali and winter?
Warm, spiced and woody scents suit the festive and winter gifting months. This page's seasonal tier is Pumpkin Spice, Spicy Cinnamon, Autumn and Saffron Cedarwood. Best Fragrance Oils for Diwali Candles and Best Indian Fragrances for Diwali Candles look at Diwali scents specifically.
