What one kilo makes in coconut soy
Load is a share of the finished candle, so a fixed kilo of oil makes more candles at a lower load. The table shows one kilo at the three rungs of a standard test ladder, with the CSI 468 it needs and the cheapest combination of listed bags to cover it. The rungs are a labelled test range, not a specification: no fragrance ceiling is published in our data for any coconut wax.

At 8% a kilo of oil pairs with 11.5 kg of wax, before any allowance for pour loss and test burns (plan 3–5% extra, a working assumption). Stock changes, and the product page is always the authority. Where a kilo goes wrong
Most kilo problems in coconut soy are not about the oil at all. They come from buying the oil and the wax as if they were the same size, from committing a kilo to a load nobody has confirmed, or from buying a kilo of a scent that has not yet sold. Each has a simple fix.
Two other habits help. Keep the kilo sealed, cool and out of direct light between pours — general practice for fragrance oils, not a CSI specification — and decant a working bottle rather than opening the kilo every session. And label the kilo with its purchase date and batch details so you can match production candles to the oil lot if a customer ever asks. If you run two coconut waxes, remember that each may have a different stated maximum; the same kilo can make a different number of candles in each.
