The first is the listed 1 kg pack, which for some oils already works like a wholesale price: 24 oils are at least 5% cheaper per gram at 1 kg than at 100 g, led by Citronella (62.3%), Honeydew Melon (22.0%), Mango Coconut (20.7%), Verbena (20.0%) and Roasted Coconut (19.2%). For most oils, though, the kilo costs the same per gram as the 100 g: 52 of 91 sit within ±1%. The second layer is a quote on WhatsApp for volumes beyond the listed packs, or for mixed orders of oil and paraffin together. No wholesale discount figure is published, so we will not suggest one. What wholesale means on CSI's listings

Wholesale is a word suppliers like, because it suggests a discount. On CSI's listed catalogue, it mostly means a bigger pack at the same rate, with a handful of real exceptions.

CSI's Fragrance Oils collection lists up to five sizes per oil, from 15 g to 1 kg. The 1 kg is the largest listed pack, and 73 oils were in stock at that size on 24 September 2026. Paraffin works the same way: Fully Refined Paraffin Wax Pellets are listed at 500 g (₹177.00) and 1 kg (₹354.00), the same rate per gram. The store has no stated minimum order, no published free-shipping threshold and no published wholesale discount. Anything beyond the listed packs, whether 20 kg of one oil or a mixed pallet of oils and wax, is quoted on WhatsApp.

That is a plainer picture than most wholesale pages give, but it is the useful one. A manufacturer can plan on the listed prices with confidence, because they are public and current. Any quote you then receive is a matter between you and CSI, not a figure we can print in a guide. The listed price is your ceiling, and the conversation on WhatsApp is where volume is discussed.

Argued against our own interest, plainly. A wholesale page is where suppliers usually promise the biggest savings. On our listed prices, most oils cost the same per gram at 1 kg as at 100 g, and we will not print a discount percentage we do not publish. If you buy a kilo of an oil that prices flat, you are buying stock security, not a lower rate. Three things stand out for a paraffin manufacturer. First, the list is dominated by fresh, fruity and value profiles such as Citronella, Honeydew Melon, Mango Coconut, Verbena and Eucalyptus Spearmint, which are also commonly chosen for value paraffin ranges. Each scent needs 4.8 kg of oil a month; with a 4% working allowance that rounds up to 5 × 1 kg. Buying these five oils in 1 kg packs rather than 100 g saves ₹16,449.00 a month at listed prices, because every one of them has a real break. Build the line around the breaks
If two oils test equally well in your paraffin, choose the one with a listed 1 kg break. Across a year, the difference compounds: Honeydew Melon saves ₹15.29 a candle at 1 kg against 100 g, while a flat-priced oil saves nothing however much you buy. Test first, though. A cheap oil that customers do not rebuy is the most expensive oil in the range.
